Her back was too him as he said it and she shrugged, "Who the hell wants to know everything? It's boring. I say, discover as you go, insult a few people along the way, find some friends, eat good food, kick some butt...life will be good." She turned as he revealed his other parts and she blinked, "Wow. I only made the assumption about the bird thing. I saw the wings. Hey, birds have wings. You're not a bird, you're a bird boy...with...fox parts." A string of expletives followed, "You're not alien...so I can assume some sick puppy messed with your genetics."
Another shrug, "Sit yourself down, help yourself." Aisha moved on, sitting down herself and began serving herself until she had an impressive mountain of food on her plate. There was plenty more to spare.

Kohaku tilted his head slightly. "Correct, though it was their experiments that melded avian DNA with mine... they just didn't know that I'm very different from others... even the other avian projects, considering a kitsune spirit was fused with me mere hours after my birth. Their experiments caused me to become 2% avian, 5% kitsune, and 93% human... I am able to cast small illusions that blend seamlessly, as you've seen, as well as being quite a bit stronger and faster than even the other avian 'projects'; I am also telepathic, but technically, I'm more of a sender than receiver, meaning that I'm better at planting thoughts or sensing minds than reading thoughts," he said with a slight shrug.

One of Aisha's eyes twitched then she shook it off, "People like that need to be put down like sick animals." She murmured and dug into her food. She gestured at him, "Eat, eat! Or there wont be any left." She advised.

Kohaku grinned. "More than a few of the scientists actually have been put down in one way or another... some of the ones I've managed to find I made certain felt exactly what I did over their 'tests'," he said with amusement. He got a pile of food roughly a third larger than the one Aisha had gotten and dug in with gusto.

He humphed and grumbled for a moment. She noted the mountain on his plate and nodded in satisfaction, apparently he didn't eat like a bird, that was good. She interrupted herself only once to ask if he wanted anything to drink and then settled in to tucking in her supper. The feast soon dwindled with the two of them working at it.

Kohaku tilted his head as he paused. "Usually I end up eating somewhere around 4500 to 6000 calories a day... so it's hard to beleive that I weigh no more than 145 pounds, really," he said idly.

Aisha paused a moment, aquamarine eyes narrowing on her house guest. had he read her mind or something? She hadn't said anything out loud. She'd yet to run into any aliens who could do that...or if she had, they hadn't said anything. She wasn't sure how she felt about it, not like her thoughts were really anything to write home about. They were just her thoughts. As it was, she decided to simply tuck the issue away for now.

Kohaku chuckled. "You aren't the first I've met who was curious about my nature, and I could tell from the way your tail was twitching you were curious," he said with amusement.
(We can do that 'Awakening' RP whenever you like...)

"My ears twitched?" she glanced to the side and wiggled her ears up and down. She snorted, "I suppose that takes the magic out of it. For a moment I thought maybe you could read my thoughts or something." She chuckled.

Kohaku shrugged slightly. "Like I said, I'm better at planting thoughts or sensing minds than reading them, but I do sometimes pick up surface thoughts," he admitted.{{ Awakening }}

"Hunh..." She waved her hand, "Not into deep thinking. More a braun than brains, if you know what I mean." She threw him a crooked smile, flashing a fang.
The food was soon gone and Aisha stood to clean, "Haven't had someone to eat with in awhile. Not as noisy as eating in the mess hall, but better than eating alone."

Kohaku chuckled. "You could say I'm a balance of both mental and physical... with an edge to combat," he said with a shrug.

Aisha paused, holding the soiled plates. Her ears perked a bit and she smiled, moving the sink, she dumped them then turned back for the empty cartons.
"So...you're new, right? Do you have a job and stuff in the area?" She asked.

Kohaku shrugged. "Like I said, I usually end up on the move... and normally, I live off the grid," he said with a slight sigh as he picked up the food cartons. He was tired of always being on the move; it made life interesting, though after a certain amount of time, it got old and boring.
