"I KNOW I KNOW AND ITS COLD WATER-" Bul immediately protested after Cady.
"These two are quite obviously trying to faze us. You know what I think? I think neither door leads forwards. Neither leads to warm, and neither are going to be the best decision." Bul learned to be skeptical in the worst of situations as not to get his hopes up. "But my opinion? I think leftie is pretty much the way to go. Its always the left."
Glancing at Willow though, he began to second guess himself. "Wait so you say right- and I say left... what do you guys think?" He furrowed his brows now and shuddered in agony from the cold. "It better be a Jack damned lake of lava on the other side."

Demi was not here.
There might have been a Hellhound under a pile of snow, but could you be sure?
Either way the hyperactive boil came jumping out of the frozen water with a cheer of glee as he went about sniffing around the talking snowmen in case one of them had the scent of liar on them. "Fluffy water is interesting!" he barked out before padding up to his group and flopping over their feet like the living blanket he was and tried to shake off the bit of snow that remained on his nose like a pest. "I dunno about the Left one, far to eager to want us to go in there.' he mused to the others and began twapping Cady with his tail unknowingly.

Cady frowned. Thinking was HARD, especially with all this distracting...wet stuff. She barely noticed the rhythmic thumping of Demi's tail against her boot. At least someone was enjoying the weather. Hadn't she brought something along with her, in case of situations like this? She scowled harder, in concentration, and reached intp her bag.
...And her hand rested upon it. She brought it out from her bag reverently. It was round, black, and had a large '8' painted on it on one side. On the other was a window that showed only a dark, viscous liquid.
"GUYS, GUYS. I THINK I KNOW WHAT TO DO!" Without further preamble, she shook the strange device, whispering to it.
"Should we go left...Orrrrr right?"
The murk dissolved slowly, and a small triangluar shape bobbed in it's finite depths. The answer was clear, and Cady pointed dramatically toward the door on the right. Nevermind that Cady couldn't read, or that the question hadn't been phrased properly, or that she really just pointed at random. It was SCIENCE.
Definitely, the text on the sphere indicated, should anyone care to look.

Bul's pessimistic attitude made Bea more uneasy. What if he was right? Then again, Demi's prancing curiosity was far too adorable. Bea gave an awwwww as he made his suggestion. But when he came back, he began to smell like wet dog...
"I guess I agree with Agent Bow-Wow. The left one seems far too eager for us to go through its door. I mean... look at it!" She gestured strongly towards the snowman, but it was hard to see because of the snowfall. "Oops. Never mind." Bea chuckled a bit before turning to Cady holding a black ball.
"What... is---" interupted by Cady's dramatic point to the right door. "O-okay then. I'll follow where you guys decide. A group must stick together if we want to survive this, after all."

Willow's tail flickered, "Uh..." She paused looking at the ball with an 8 on it. "Where'd you find that?"
She looked at the little window as it said Definitely.... yeahh that wasn't what Caddy had asked.... "Maybe you should ask it a yes or no question, like 'should we go left?' It doesn't seem to like questions like left or right."
She shook her head though, "I agree with Demi, I think the snowman on the left is too edger." She nodded her head, "The right one seems more.... iunno he just doesn't seem as weird."

Demi lunging from the snow was enough to startle Bul just a bit and the half beast threw a glare muttering with his lips 'you sicken me.' Then again as a hellhound the boil prolly liked to get a cool down every now and then.
"Well damn if ya'll think the left one is wrong then.." There hadn't been a look of more discomfort in the boil's eyes. It would probably take a kick to the groin to produce an expression like this.
"JUST PICK A DAMN DOOR. RIGHT OR LEFT THEY PROBABLY BOTH LEAD TO THE SAME ******** PLACE ANYWAY." he groaned. "ANYTHING IS BETTER THAN THIS.
AND ******** ball likely had the right idea anyway. Still Bul gave the left snowman an almost apologetic glance. He appreciated its eagerness whatever the Jack it was. Too bad Bul didn't experience snowmen in Christmas Town.

All the good natured playfulness and curiosity dropped right out of Damien eyes as Bul started to yell, in which case it felt like it was mostly toward him and his antics. That tail that was happily smacking against Cady fell with a thump into the snowy trail and he found himself hiding behind Willow. It was probably just Bul getting bitchy from the immense cold but still, it was such a downer.
"Ok Ok, lets listen to Cady's strange chew toy!" he barked out before standing up to the two snowmen and their identical faces. "We choose the right path!"

GM POST"ASK, AND IT SHALL BE GIVEN." Boomed the snowman on the right as the sound of gears being turned could be heard. It was then followed by a click before the door finally swung open. From the darkness... Came glitter.
Lots and lots of glitter.
"SURPRISE." The snowman on the right yelled as it threw its twig-arms up into the air as the one on the left face-palmed... Uh, face-twig'ed.
"Told you that the left was right!" It groaned before the sound of gears turning could once again be heard. There was another click and soon, the door on the right opened as well, sucking the students - and some snow and glitter - in like a terrible black hole out of some bad sci-fic movie...

And then she was gone.

The right tricked us?! Bea thought as she snapped her head to stare at the left statue. "JACK DAMNIT! SERIOUSLY!?" she yelled at the right statue before kicking a pile of snow at it and getting sucked into the glittery void of the door.

With a frown Bul waited expectantly. What was taking the snowmen so freaking long to-
"AAAAAAH!"
Everything from the island flashed passed him in the form of a wild storm for glitter, but before he could recuperate he found his body relocated into a new place. A much warmer place, not of the blizzard room before.

That sneaky little Right snowman! "You deceived us so we could get glitter!" the irate Hell-hound snarled out before stomping up to the stationary creature and kicked up some snow at its chest in a couple of neat round mounds in retaliation.
Yep, its got boobs now.
He was going to continue with the taunt but the pull from the door was strong as Damien was lifted off his feet and through the passageway.

... Hot air?!
The room your group has just entered had lava in it, as well as a track that runs above the lava pit... Wait. Wait. Hold everything. What is that? Right in front of you. There. You know what it is: BUMPER CARS. Or rather, two bumper cars. There was one that was slightly larger that looked like it was built to fit multiple people, and one that looked like it was built for just one.
As they studied the room, "Team Venture" would also quickly realize one other thing - they were all wearing GIANT spookie suits. Made of 100% real spookies, slowly being baked by the heat in the room. Only their limbs and faces were visible, and it was difficult to move due to how bulky the spookie suit was. Any attempts to remove the suit would be futile; it was there to stay. The only one not in a spookie suit was Cady, who was currently glued to the now-closed door by an invisible force.
"Look at those walking spookies... Don't they smell so good as they bake? Mmm, don't you just want to take a bite out of one of them?" A mysterious voice echoed through the room, "Run, spookies, run!" There was loud, manic laughter which then abruptly stopped, leaving the spookie-suited Bul, Demi, Bea and Willow to get into a bumper car for a headstart.Quote: The OOC: Welcome to bumper cars! In order to drive, please roll 1d8 with each of your posts. This represents how fast you're going. Add onto your number. ie, if you roll a 6, then you're on spot six. Next roll you get a 4. You are now on spot 10 (6+4=10). Everyone but Cady: Pick one person to steer/drive. This person will roll the 1d8 to determine speed/distance per turn! Cady: You will be the one to steer/drive! The haunted house had messed with your mind, and instead of your teammates, you see spookies. Giant, delicious, nom-able spookies.For both cars: You guys need to roll and get to at least 27 in order to get to the other side of the room! However, the 'spookies' should pass first, followed by Cady! Read below for more info~ The goal here is to not allow Cady to catch you! The rest of the team goes first, rolling 2d8 for the FIRST round since they are getting a headstart. After that, Cady rolls. You can RP in-between, but when rolling, it needs to go in this order: Spookies, Cady, Spookies, Cady, Spookies, etc! If Cady manages to get to the same square or PAST the square that the rest of the team is on, that car would be bumped off the track and into the lava, taking -3HP off everyone in that car. The room would then be refreshed and everyone (including Cady) would find themselves back at the beginning and they will have to do it all over! Again, Cady would be pretty much stuck at the door to give everyone else a head start! Once you reach the other side, run for the open door! PS: Remember to roll for glitter! The glitter is hidden under the suits for now though, so only Cady's glitter (if any) is visible.
