Pomona fidgeted as the youma finally seemed to take notice of them and Athene called out his attack. They didn't have much of a plan, Athene's attack had a recharge period, and the combination of the two made her twitchy. She had to fight the instinct to back away, instead inching closer to Athene in case his attack didn't work.

" Ready to whammy a pig?" She called to Ate.

The youma let out another cry as it suddenly found itself for all intents, stuck. It was clear it was not pleased with the situation and was glaring intensely at Athene. It would kick the smaller senshi's a**. It was determined to do so now. It failed to notice the other two senshi... and the other senshi attack.

A crack was heard as a leg went down, and part of the youma seemed to simply snap. "Keep at it guys!" It hissed and spat trying to get free. "One more hit and it should go down!" Castor was grinning; they were doing pretty well together.

Seeing as how her peppers didn't usually hurt anyone - except maybe when they resulted in the target running into stuff - Pomona figured that debris would have to be her weapon of choice. Not wanting to get too close, she managed to find one of her usual standbys - a rock - and hurled it at the youma.

If it was the rock or the punch hard to tell, but as soon as the hits landed if flopped to the ground, leeting out a low wheeze. A shudder, then absolute stillness. Of course just when it looked dead it went and exploded into a cloud of dust. One youma? Dead. A clapping was heard from above as castor beemed down at them. “Good job guys. A bit skittish, but you killed it.” The remnants of the cloud settled a tiny pile of dust where it had fallen.
Jumping down, the senshi of hail joined them. “Ate you were damn good with your attack, and so were you Athene. Pomona…” His voice trailed off with a sigh. “Why didn’t you use your attack? You did well with the rock, but... I am a bit curious.” He was also half disappointed while the other half might have been curious.
A small gust of wind, and the last of the dust vanished.

Pomona did a small little jig when the youma was dusted; victory! It was a short-lived victory dance though, as Castor’s question quickly looking a bit sheepish.

“ Well… my regular attack is pretty useless and I haven’t, ah, quite gotten the hang of my Super attack.”

Her regular attack didn’t do cause damage or bind opponents, and seemed just as likely to hinder an opponent as to anger them and make them flail about unpredictably. Her Super attack was more useful, but was proving hard to master It had an area of effect, that she knew, but she hadn’t figured out how large it was, or how long it lasted, and since it could affect anyone… yeah.

“ I figured accidentally pepper-spraying a teammate wouldn’t be very helpful.” She added with a self-depreciating laugh.

Athene had tried not to stare at Ate's dance-thing or whatever it was supposed to be – maybe a victory dance, albeit a strange one.

Then he found himself blinking at her comments. Destroy the city? Good sense? Personally they weren't something he could see going together and...

He made a sound that probably translated to something as 'ulp' as he was suddenly grabbed up and spun around, sure that his face was probably beet-red with the embarrassment he was feeling.

So it was with some relief, when Ate seemed distracted by Pomona's comment about her powers and Athene took the opportunity with his feet back on the ground to attempt to take a couple of polite steps out of Ate-grabbing distance without being obvious he was doing so, before looking towards Castor to hear his response to Ate's question, trying not to wince at the 'big cheese' comment. That is he was waiting to hear a response about whether they'd passed – he had a feeling he probably didn't want to know about the 'other' lessons she'd mentioned.

Looked like coffee was now available. Athene was totally going to take the fact that Castor had walked over to the coffee as an invitation that they could help themselves.

Helping himself to a cup and a doughnut Athene thanked Castor for both, before sipping at the contents. Despite preferring his coffee in latte form (with some form of syrup mixed in) – the coffee really was quite good – most importantly it was also warm, the steam rising liberally from the cup.

The dark-haired senshi spent some time slowly sipping at the contents of the cup as he munched on the sugary doughnut. Once both was done Athene quietly excused himself, waving a friendly goodbye as he headed back towards home.
