Chris smiled as well, hearing the smile in Ganymede's voice. He was glad that he could still smile after everything. He'd been worried for a little bit. Of course, the smile quickly faded when he felt lips against his neck, and his whole body tensed up and he was sure his entire face turned red with embarrassment and surprise. Yeah, he knew that Ganymede was being rather clingy, but he didn't think he'd kiss him. Although, it wasn't like he was making out with him, so...
"I-I guess," he stuttered lamely, clearing his throat and cursing at himself for being so easily affected by an innocent kiss. It wasn't even as if Ganymede liked him! It was just... they thought of each other as teammates! And Ganymede just happened to be more touchy feely with how he expressed himself, right??
"But I mean... that's fine i-if I didn't know who you were really. I mean, especially if you want to keep things separate. The best way to do that and all... not tell anyone... because then they'd know."
Okay, he was going to just force himself to stop talking, and just when he thought the red in his face was dying down, Ganymede kissed his cheek too. Great. Although he did laugh when the senshi began to sing, forgetting his embarrassment for a few moments to just listen and shake his head. "Yeah, that's better..." he said, patting at Ganymede's arm from under the blanket. He liked seeing him smile. He liked seeing everyone smile, really... It was nice.

Ganymede didn't bother to conceal his laughter. Chris's face was warm and suddenly suffused with color, and he could feel it as he tensed up, and though he knew it was probably because he was being clingy and hanging all over him and kissing him every which way, he didn't feel bad for it. He told himself that if Chris really didn't want it, he'd tell him so -- as kindly as possible, of course -- or gently push him away.
Of course, thinking about it like that and seeing that Chris wasn't doing those things gave him bad ideas -- not bad as in naughty, but bad as in hopeful, and he'd had enough of his hopes dashed to know that he didn't want to go there just yet.
"Alright, I'll stop," he said with a heavy, playful sigh, extricating himself from the other young man and slipping out from beneath the two blankets to stand to his feet. He pulled the second blanket off of his back to swing it around and drape it over Chris's shoulders, since he was the one without a shirt on. Not that Ganymede wasn't a little chilly in his outfit, but he'd awakened in the dead of winter when the outfit had been even worse, so he could handle a little autumn weather.
"You should get inside. Get some rest. I need to be heading home, too. I'm exhausted," he revealed, lifting his arms into a stretch, before looking back at Chris with another smile on his face. "Thanks for putting up with me. I don't know what you did, but I'm feeling a little better already. Maybe I'll actually be able to get a good night's sleep after all this," he added, taking a few steps back so that he could begin launching himself over rooftops toward home as soon as Chris was safely back downstairs.
"Chris?" he called out to him, before either of them could go. "Whoever your girlfriend was, she was really lucky to have you for as long as she did."

"H-hey, don't make fun of me," he nearly pouted, although he looked up curiously when Ganymede stood so he could leave. Chris stood up as well, but he kept the blankets wrapped around his shoulder as he leaned down to pick up the bag of supplies, his shirt, and the blanket they'd sat on.
Chris turned to stare at the senshi when he thanked him, not really knowing what to say besides shaking his head with a "Don't mention it. I don't mind at all." And he really didn't. He liked being able to spend time with his friends, and he definitely considered Ganymede as one of his friends...
He began to head towards the fire escape, although he paused again at Ganymede's last comment, staring at him for a long moment, and then lowering his head in shame. He didn't answer him, but continued down the escape and to his apartment. Was Paris lucky to have him as a boyfriend...? Even with all the lies and false hopes and just... everything...? The fight at the end was definitely the worst thing they'd been through and he wasn't planning on repeating that any time soon.
Everything was dropped on the ground so he could close the window and lock it, and then went to his bed to sit down, his head now swimming with guilt and wonder and... slowly he picked up his phone, staring at it. He could just call and see how he was doing. How Paris was and how his father was and his cat...
But it was late... and in the end, Chris placed the phone back down. Maybe another day...
