"Not the way you were trying to get in mine," he countered, his breathing finally even enough for him to consider doing something. His golden eyes flickered to the flamingo held by Iris. Trying to get it back would be pointless, it wasn't really helping his situation especially since he wasn't thinking as clearly as he should have. Still, his face paled as he watched her toss it behind her. There went perhaps the only advantage he held, or she held. Whatever.
"Laying down means accepting defeat," he said eying her trying to anticipate her next move. She would probably come charging toward him soon, it appeared to be her preferred method of attack but, would she use her fists or another means of attacking?
She answered his questions when she barreled towards him, head down. His eyes widened as she grabbed him around the waist and tossed him down. His mouth opened as though he were to scream but nothing came out but air. She'd knocked the air right out of him. <********, ********, <********>.
He needed to get up now. He fought to twist himself around so he was on his stomach and then pushed up with all the strength he had trying to get her off and away from him. He just needed a second.

Sailor Iris honestly felt as if she could be glowing from how much she was beaming right now after managing to pull that throw off. Rarely were Lieutenants stupid enough to actually take on an eternal senshi. They were possibly the only opponent she could truly take on using only fists and other various fighting techniques and come out on top.
Fortunately for this Lieutenant, the senshi had already stood up once she had thrown the boy to the ground, leaving him some room to breathe and perhaps even get up.
If he had been more of a challenge, she might have been certain to keep facing him. Yet, she turned her back to him and walked back to her box of burritos. As if to prove him wrong from earlier, she ripped open the box along the taped edge and pulled out a partially frozen treat.
As she fussed with the plastic, she casually commented "I'd be pretty disappointed if ya stayed down this time..."

She had let him up. She had let him up. If that wasn't a blow to his ego, one already damaged by his stupidity in taking the senshi on. But he had been curious as to how she would fight against him and the risk had all too tempting. He really needed to stop being so bullheaded, it was just going to get him in trouble.
The adrenaline wasn't worth the beating he was taking.
So, what made him thing his next move was a smart one? Nothing, nothing at all. It was probably the most reckless thing he had done the entire night. The worst part about it? He had this wide goofy grin on his lips the entire time.
He ran forward, hands curled into fists as he came up behind Iris. She'd regret turning her back on him. He sprang into the air suddenly, balls of his feet landing on the senshi's back before he pushed off so he leaped over her and kept on running. He only glanced back once. "Catch me if you can!" He was just trying to piss her off now.

Her fingers had finally gotten the packaging open (stupid gloves making it difficult) when all of a sudden she felt something pushing her forward. If she knew exactly what had happened, she would have been incredibly furious with the Lieutenant. However, since she didn't know which part of him was connecting and forcing her forward, all she could think (and as a result, say) "That's th'sorta sh*t I've been waitin' for!"
In a delayed manner, she finally managed to hear the taunt that the boy so foolishly had crowed out. "...so that's how it's gonna be, eh?" And here she had thought he might have grown some balls. Instead, he was being a coward and seemingly running off.
If she was feeling lazy, she could have summoned a Rainbow Ribbon and merely just snatched him by the ankle to cause him to trip over his own feet. However, there was no challenge in that for herself. After giving him what she felt was a fair gap of space between them, she then began to charge after him, burrito clenched in one hand.

He might have been taking the cowards way out, but he was content to say that he had gotten the last hit. Or kick. Well, whatever you wanted to call it since it was truly neither. His heart thudded in his chest as he pushed himself to run faster, acutely aware of the yellow-skirted sailor trailing shortly behind him. A thought flashed in his mind as he saw the wall of a building quickly coming up before him. When he had taunted her that night before she had demanded he come down and face her, to which he politely refused.
Was there a reason behind her insistence?
Now was time to test a theory that had bubbled in his subconscious. When he was close enough to the building he bent his knees and pushed off the ground, sky-rocketing into the air. The building was only two-stories, something he had become accustom to jumping but his body was weary and he nearly missed. His hand shot out barely gripping the edge of the building leaving him scrambling to pull himself up.
Once on the roof he turned and peered down curious to see what she would do. He seemed to bounce in place torn between watching and continuing to dart off in case she did follow. "Here kitty, kitty."

He had stuck to the street level, which was odd in all honesty for a Negaverse agent that was fleeing. Obviously he couldn't teleport, but even then he didn't go for the rooftops right away. Maybe he was panicked enough to not remember the rooftops.
However, as she drew closer while he neared the dead end of an alleyway, he suddenly leaped for the rooftop.
With her free hand she gathered a vague amount of energy and called out "Iris Rainbow Ribbon," summoning that pale lasso of colored light. She lashed it out in his direction as he remained over the edge of the building for a moment, but narrowly missed his ankle as he finally managed to pull himself over the edge.
Immediate reaction? "F*CK!"
Following reaction. A stringed repetition of the same curse. It didn't help that the Lieutenant was literally taunting her from his convenient safety net. Especially the choice in animal he decided to reference her as.
Rather than do the obvious thing of jumping to the rooftop to chase him, she circled her spot momentarily like a dog that was trying to find a way out of an enclosure. When she couldn't find any result she liked, she merely just punched her hand that had the burrito in it against the wall, essentially squishing the snack to the point of not being able to be consumed anymore.
"F*ck this sh*t..." she snorted before turning around and stalking away back to where she left her supplies.

A strange sense of satisfaction filled the lieutenant when he saw that his opponent stopped following him. He had wondered if she would continue after him, he was reaching the point where he'd struggle to even pick himself up after another round of blows. He peered down, hands settling on his hips as he looked down at her.
He thought to taunt her but decided against it, because while he had lost the physical fight he felt as though he had won the round. The battle was far from over and after weeks, months of tailing her and gathering information that would help him have an advantage he finally had it.
Sailor Iris hated highs, a fear of heights even. It was more than enough information for him, he had found his advantage. He turned on his heel and fled the scene while the knowledge was fresh in his mind.
