ɑlexandra ɱaybel ʗarmen A huge smile was begging to creep onto Alex's face when James kissed Coco's hand, but she kept her small friendly smile. Oh my gosh he's such a gentleman! her mind screamed at her. She sent a look and sly smile at Coco. Alex noticed that James was making sure to not exclude her and showing his smile to her aswell. She directed her smile back at him and nodded slightly. She turned to look out the window. Maybe if I ran... She suddenly pipped up. "Hey, I was suppose to meet someone, so I should probably be going." She smiled at both of them, and turned to leave. She stopped at the door and turned her head toward them. "I'll let you two work out the rooms. I really don't care." And with that, Alex walked out and closed the door behind her. She stopped outside, her hands still on the doorknob behind her. And suddenly a realization dawned on her. There was something... Off about James. She didn't know what it was. But she just only realized that when he'd kissed Coco's hand, Alex had gotten a strange feeling in her gut. She decided not to pursue it and left, deciding to look around the campus before nightfall.

 His eyes widened for a mere second showing he was fascinated with her statement about an inter-dimensional plane. "No need to apologize. Now, an inter-dimensional plane that you may access at will? Fascinating, I hope you don't mind me asking how such an ability works."
Seeing that Alex was leaving he waved with his hand a calm good-bye. He was wondering if she had noticed that his shadow was missing behind him, just a bunch of sunlight from the window as if he wasn't there.

 ╔══════════════╗ º° °º ʗσʗσ Ӎеʀеɳɢυе º° °º o Coco blinked. She had never once been asked to explain how it works. People around her either always understood or didn't think they needed to ask. After thinking a moment, Coco came up with the most acceptable answer. "Well, you know how if you have a pocket you can reach into it and store things in it whenever you want?" She smacked her forehead. "What am I talking about, of course you do. Well, there are small pockets like that in space-time that are practically infinite. They appear in almost every place you go, and your skin tissue carries a DNA signature that you can implant into a pocket's memory, so when you touch it..." She blinked and then realized that she was making practically no sense. "It's kinda...hard to explain." She said and laughed nervously. "I was always just told it was magic." Coco had dropped her nervous demeanor. Whenever she got into her favorite subject, anxiety and fear flew away. ╚══════════════╝

"It makes enough sense to me, and magic is merely a theory to perform uncommon things with little or no effort. You don't need to worry about what others think, besides, if you had already seen this coming, I have a similar ability. It's nothing much, I have a mental connection with what we call shadows. The shadows are kind of like puppets that I can move."
His shadow came out, it was hiding underneath his shoes. It came up like a swirl around him. James spun his pointer finger around in a fair motion and the darkness made it's way to his finger, coming up in the form of a small orb.

╔══════════════╗ º° °º ʗσʗσ Ӎеʀеɳɢυе º° °º o Coco's eyes widened in fascination at his actions. Her squeamish, nervous side was afraid, but the analystic, curious girl in her was excited. "That's...so cool." She said and smiled. "I can't do this kind of thing if I tried, elemental control or control over defraction of light is beyond me. I can only do the little stuff..." She said and grinned again. "I can do a little levitation, but this kind of control is really...cool." She said and cooed at the sphere. To James it might seem small, but Coco was a beginner at her craft and the sight of the orb intrigued her immensely. ╚══════════════╝

"Even the slightest inhuman capability is amazing. I'm merely doing the smallest one I can do. My capabilities with the opposite of light are much more advanced then this."
The sphere disappeared and he set his hand back down. He was proud to have that ability but didn't see it as something worth bragging about. He believed that Intelligence and other valuable Traits were more important at the time. "As fun as it is dictating such things it disturbs the balance that must be kept and so I deny it."

╔══════════════╗ º° °º ʗσʗσ Ӎеʀеɳɢυе º° °º o Coco nodded, seeing his logic. "I understand that. The one time I tried to meddle in this stuff...it...didn't end well, eh heh." She blinked and remembered a flash of an old memory; a school hallway covered in darkness, screaming kids running everywhere. She shook her head and cast the thought away. Then she turned back to James. "But I do think it's a shame to deny it. It's really cool, after all." She said and shrugged. ╚══════════════╝

"We all have our own little secrets." said James in a clever tone. He pulled a black cane out of his bag, a transparent white diamond over the top. His shadow slid around the floor, through the cane making it's way inside the diamond, turning it completely black. After holding it in his hand with a good grip he looked back to Coco. "I have been given a fantastic idea, how would you like to take a look around this fine school, it would be good to understand where everything is."
