...

Had to log this one, because it still perplexes me.

I was on the mage, hitting those plants for the plant samples. I pop onto the Forest North of Ellinia with two other guys, and I kill the slime we landed on. We walked across the field till I went up and they went to the next map.

Somewhere in there I must've managed to offend them, because suddenly they both defamed me. They gave no reason. They didn't talk to me. They defamed and went on.

If I didn't have friends on Maple I would've given it up a long time ago for situations like this. They keep happening and happening and I don't know why.

If anyone's interested, I wrote their names down. Broa server.

Strange time tonight. PQ'ed with a level 30 mage, a level 21 mage, and a warrior I never checked, with my level 24 mage.

The level 30 told us lowers to go out and buy pots and then told us to give them to her. She never offered reimbursement, nor did we ask. I assumed it was because she was the highest level and therefore was going to do most of the work. I was wrong. I didn't give her any more pots. The first time I died at King Slime, and I asked the level 21 mage if he had too, since he'd disappeared right at the curse eyes. Turns out he never came down. I asked why not, and he said 'because I'm a level 21 mage'. Then why PQ if you're not going to do the work?! He shared in the rewards of every PQ after that, when I died two more times without his help. The only thing I got were 30 screws, which made me happy in a perverse way. I gave up on John's first quest, but I got the prize anyway.

Woo.

I've pq'ed with the magician till my eyes hurt. I never thought killing stuff could be so damn easy. Stupid archer.

No, I was kidding.

*hugs archer*

Aaaaaaaaaanyway. I'm gonna level the magician till my check comes in and I can straighten out the landfill of the archer's AP. I hope to get Bird Boy to his second job advancement by then.

*nods*

Got the mithril wand today, and looked over the selection of mandresses. Blue or Black.

Did the second job advancement, and the Bird Boy became an Ice/Lightning Wizard. I'm so proud. *sniff*

Went to Orbis and did all the quests up to level 30 including Huckle's for the tower scrolls. Must update his screenie, and oh, died several times. By leatty, by jr kitty, by... something I can't remember. I died a lot, actually. Put his first point into teleport, and he's on the cusp of level 31 and those go right into cold beam. Woo.

Put up a scroll on Basil, a 60% wand magic att. Set the price at 600k, auto at 700k, we'll see.

Thanks! Mine has 13 luk and 7 int. It worked out though. When the third of March rolls around I'm filling up on scrolls and letting 'im rip.

Good news, amazing news actually. Someone autobought my scroll on Basil for 700k. I couldn't believe it. It's the new high price, lol. I found someone in the FM selling a White Chaos Robe with slightly higher stats for 200k and I bought it, and later a boar dropped an above average brown Guiltan. Once I buy the mithril off my other Basil, I'll have enough to make the Wizard Wand. Hope to keep some of the new money in storage.

Alright.

The depths of immaturity know no bounds with some.

My Basil ended last night, for the 10% gloves dex scroll. The winner told me to add him. I tried. His list was full. I whispered to him and he kept saying add me and I kept trying. List full. He must've gotten the picture because he made space. Then he said to come to him. I had already changed channels, so I went to Ellinia, where I needed to go anyway. But there was no please, no negotiation. He was ordering me around, and it rubbed me the wrong way. He was quite impatient.

When I get to Ellinia, I discover he's still in Orbis. And he's about to get on the ship. And that his next order is for me to wait at the station for him.

I'm past 'I can't believe this' and right into 'what a b*****d'.

So I wait the fifteen minutes, because the ship isn't ready to leave yet. When he gets off he's bouncing around and tells me to 'hurry hurry hurry' and doesn't offer to open the trade himself, being as I'm the one standing still enough to click on. So I open the window and he doesn't know the amount of the trade. *shakes head*

So then, I ask him if he wanted another of the same scroll for the same price. He said okay, and to hurry. I go and transfer the scroll. I go back and discover he's gone. He didn't have the courtesy to wait. Instead he's unbuddied me and he's in Henesys fighting MM. He tells me to come to him. I've wasted enough time and scrolls on this joker and I tell him no.

I'm mad enough to want to leave negative feedback with this whole sordid tale in the comments, but I'm civil and leave neutral with 'no comment'.

His return feedback is... also neutral with 'hmm no coment too'.

Seriously. Petty much? I went above and beyond to get him his stuff and he's immature enough to leave me feedback in kind.

Geh.

I have been to Ludi and it is good.

Went with Birdboy since I hadn't bought reset scrolls yet, and it was... okay. Nice to explore and colorful enough to blind a Disney character. Went all the way down the tower, finished six quests, and had a round of Dollhouse where I chose wrong. I know the archer will have to be stronger before he goes, so I'll train him up. Surprisingly enough, I've missed the sarcasm of the cat.

Died any number of times, four I think. And now Birdboy's safely back on Victoria, ready to kill fire boars till that stupid shoe drops. Or till he's leveled enough where the cold beam can OHKO the damn things.

Birdboy leveled earlier tonight to 34 on fireboars. No shoe.

Scrolls to reset sp did not appreciably change the archer, but peace of mind is mine. Must work on him so I can change him into better clothes. Bought a Viper for 150k from Basil, so now he's all ready for level 35... and beyooooooooond!!

Much sweat and swearing and a long stint on Pig Beach and archer is level 34 with 12% of it under his godawful chainmail belt already. Have all his gear ready and know leveling him up to wear it will give me a huge morale boost. Cat also leveled to 11 earlier, still sarcastic a*****e.

Don't know if I should have archerboy wear his whitebottoms or switch to his snowshoes. Whitebottoms have the speed, snowshoes have the defense. Eh.

Also know that my third space will be filled in the hazy future with a dit. I knew from the getgo I'd have a thief eventually, and that with my luck at drops, he better be a dit because otherwise he'd be throwing subi till he levels out at 200. Must do research, talk to mad and usagi.

Oh, and the stint on pig beach? 13 pig heads I don't need. Saving for the future dit, just in case.

AT LAST! LEVEL 35! IT DOES INDEED MERIT THE USE OF THE CAPSLOCK!

I've been waiting for 35 for... six levels. Thank god. I feel so cool in the new duds. Exalted. Validated.

Until I die again, of course.

First off, major congrats to mad for hitting the coveted level 60! May his fin ever kill sweetly.

Second, made my thief, dit to be. Rolled 5/5 on int and str and figured it was as close as I would come, with the dex and luk 8/8. Have to admit it's fun to not need range, but this hitting things deal is tough. Got him to 15 in two days, and he's now in the level 15 gear with the field dagger. (Except for the shoes.) All quests done except for Luke and his stupid necki. Hopefully this will be the char I don't screw up on.

Hopefully.

Also, he has yet to die. Hm.

Hm, I say.

Thiefboy is level 20 after a hours long stint on the Henesys Hunting Ground slimes. Ag. Hope to get birdboy up to 35 soon. Not sure what comes after that, working on archerboy more or getting thiefboy up to 35 like the others.

Had to get this off my chest because it's been bugging me for some time.

There's a person I've been around, partied with. In general, a great person. Who does one thing I can't stand. I guess in a party, if someone in the party kills something, any member of the party can pick up whatever it drops. This person, in a party, constantly picks up things dropped from monsters they didn't kill. Mesos, monster parts. I haven't had any item drop that they've picked up, or I'd say something at that point. I can kill something right in front of this person and then watch as they pick up the drops.

If I had better luck with drops and didn't need the money so much, it wouldn't bother me, I suppose. But I do need the money, and I always cash in the drops I don't need, as every little bit helps. When it happens I usually write it off to being with friends being worth a few mesos and a couple whatevers dropped. But as someone who's always very careful about only picking up my own stuff to the point I concede noobs in Henesys Hunting Ground anything I accidentally kill even on the way through, it rankles me.

I'll never say anything directly to the person, I don't think. I don't party much. But I feel better that I've said it.

*pets journal*

Must beat wiggy. That is the only goal.

Wiggy is an archer in the TF guild and a friend at MS. Hunter. Level 38 last time I checked. Smite is level 36 like me, last time I checked. Must keep up. Damn the cat.

Aaaaaanyway.

Thiefboy is level 23 and birdboy is 35, both with around 50%. I've been doing mostly archer and thief lately, maybe it's the ugliness of the matty. On birdboy it looks like the ultimate dunce cap, I must say. Like he's special stupid. Lol. Asshats to duncecaps. Amazing. I do like the guiltans though, they look like proper wizard hats. I would like a white one, but it's a dream. I'd rather scroll the earrings and just get the red guilt for the hp. I have a brown already, dropped from a boar, and I think it's holy who wants to trade. He has a red.

*yawn*

More later.
