Landry tried fighting to his feet, using all of his core and lower body strength to push himself up with Chrono baring all of his weight on his shoulders. If he was successful, he'd use Chrono's arms which held him in place as a pivot so he could try and swing up and land a Pele style kick to Chrono's head.

Chrono felt Landry escaping the hold, but didn't expect a pele kick to the side of the neck. Chrono staggered, and was slightly disoriented as well as surprised.

Landry tried to take Chrono down with a deep arm drag. Knowing Chrono as the tough sonofabitch that he is, he knew he'd get up fast if it worked and he'd be waiting with a quick dropkick.

Still disoriented Chrono was taken down by Landry's armdrag, Chrono knew he had to get the momentum going in his favor, and also knew that Landry had move prepared for him, Chrono wasn't going to let his happen. No he was getting the advantage back, so he quickly rolled under the bottom ropes to regain his breath.
He knew that as long as he didn't go over the top rope, he'd be safe.

Landry knew he had to go big or go home, and in a lapse of judgement, he went for the big dive. He thought better of it half way through, and unfortunately he was already in the air. He reached out and grabbed the top rope, saving himself from a loss at the last second as he landed on the apron. He swung himself between the top and middle rope and RIGHT back out to the apron in a motion remeniscent of a 619, and kept his momentum going to try and lash out with his legs and hook Chrono, who had hopefully ducked the oncomming attack, and wouldn't see his headscissors attempt comming!

Chrono saw Landry almost lose his own match out of stupidity, and watched as he flew through the air and catch his neck with an attempted head scissors, but Chrono was ready this time and attempted to reverse Landry's head scissors into a powerbomb onto the mat!

Landry felt Chrono stop his momentum on the headscissors and knew he was in trouble. Chrono put his strength on display by pulling him back up, but when he tried to throw him down for the Powerbomb Landry popped his hips and attempts the Hurricanrana!

Chrono lifted Landry up for the dreaded powerbomb after reversing his headscissors, a move that could take out many opponents. He was showing his power only to be reversed yet again into a swift hurricanrana by Landry!
Chrono was swiftly flipped onto the floor below!

Landry popped up and pumped his arms, shouting a gutteral roar at the top of his lungs as he gained the upper hand on his rival. The fans were lit up in response, sharing in Landry's enthusiasm.
He knew he didn't have long to continue his assault on the outside as in Watch Your Step matches, referees are told to expediate their count. Knowing that, he slid back in the ring, gesturing for Chrono to join him so he could beat him down some more.

Despite being out maneuvered, Chrono got up nonchalantly, and took his time as he walked up the steps and posed as the ref counted. He stopped and menacingly bellowed to answer Landry's roar. The ref reached seven before Chrono got inside the ring.
Chrono circled the ring mentally preparing himself for his next move.

Landry allowed Chrono to get back into the ring, not wanting to fall for any trap his opponent may have set. He circled with Chrono, calling out to him, "All day long..." before engaging for a collar elbow tie up.

Chrono didn't say a word as the collar and elbow tie up was accepted, but just as the tie up was accepted, Chrono attempted to stomp on Landry's foot, and if successful hit him with a back elbow in the face.

Landry wanted to keep the match fluid and wanted to transfer into another hold, but he was stopped when Chrono stomped his boot, offering the distraction he needed to nail him with an elbow, forcing Landry to back off and hold his jaw.

With Landry distracted by holding his jaw, Chrono went for an immediate clothesline and if successful he'd attempt to hit Landry with another clothesline on his attempt to get up.
