Veer had spied a familiar head leaving Aquarius Outpost, and gears had turned in the back of his mind -- because that familiar head was a colossal pain in the a**, and a small part of him wanted to get back at Cameron for interrupting what could have been a glorious night's sleep. He kept black hair in sight, hitching a ride across to Virgo and promptly losing the young man.
It left him frustrated, grumpy, huffing as he kicked around the ever-boring healing outpost. He'd been hoping, perhaps, to give the young man the same experience he'd had upon his first arrival: a quick soak in one of the sludgy pools, hopefully not yet cleaned out. Instead, however, he was left wandering.
The strange sound was actually a relief to Veer. It drew him deeper in, something to distract and interest the more-and-more bored young man...and lo and behold. His prey. He eased up as slowly as he could, quiet, hopefully muffled by the thumping, and leaned in very softly....
"Boo." Right in Cameron's ear. Not loud, but emphatic.

Raven had been just lazing about Virgo, admiring it once more. It was truly one of the most beautiful, though ruined places in the Surrounding...but she truly, liked it.
When she heard the loud Thumps, she hesitated, going inside. Spotting Darwin, the blonde walked to him, taking his hand.
"Ah...sounds like there's a really...really big monster up there or something...That's...kind of creepy."
Why did she come in? She should have left. Big monsters and Raven just didn't mix...but...she was still so...curious.

Eliza had been once again entranced by the tapestries on a lower level, but she heard what sounded like a thumping noise and headed up to find out what was up. Eliza who had been obviously to the earlier attacks in the surrounding was not so oblivious now. If someone was up there and needed help Eliza wasn't about to run. Her heart pounding in her ears she, she was a bit relieved to encounter not a monster but a group of the others.
"What that sound," she voiced from behind the other who had gathered around the stairwell trying to make her way around or even through them.

Jett had spent more time at Virgo than he had anywhere else, perhaps because of the sense of security it offered. He’d have liked to have spent more time over at Leo’s Outpost, but that meant walking near the Mirror Pools—which still left him with a strange feeling. He’d meant to go—on several occasions—though couldn’t seem to bring himself to actually go and look at the area. He had seen what he could from the road on his way between outposts, though every time he attempted to go see what was so special about the place, he talked himself out of it.
This, he couldn’t talk himself out of.
This wasn’t some weird coma dream. This was something that could be investigated, something that wasn’t going to rack his brain. This was a loud thumping, that was really grating on his nerves. Coupled with pent up frustration and natural curiosity, Jett had gone to see what all the fuss was about.
That there were other people gathering seemed to soothe his nerves; this couldn’t be such a bad idea if there were so many people trying to figure out what it was. Besides, if it was a giant salamander, look at all this great food. With so many people to choose from, the probability that he’d be eaten was…?
…Not something Jett wanted to think about.
He spotted both Raven and Darwin and eyed their hands—questioning now how much Raven actually did care about the male, despite what she said about only pretending. He shoved his hands in his pockets and looked up at the ceiling, as if he could imagine whatever was up there and what it was doing.

Perception was key for any sort of studious person, but for a scientist? Cameron had realized Veer was acting like his shadow the moment they had left Aquarius. He didn't really care though, having his own agenda to attend to that overrode any sort of conversational stimulation that could possibly build up in Cameron's knocker that would convince him that confronting to Veer was a good idea. He didn't like Veer, but he didn't really dislike him either. Tolerable perhaps, or just that Cameron seen some sort of potential for usage later.
He hadn't expected such a childish response, although maybe he should have. His breath stifled, the air pausing in his throat for a moment, and his shoulders stiffened for a moment before they relaxed and the air flowed normally once again. He wouldn't give the other man any sort of satisfaction and he stood his ground, left with Veer a little too close to him and a lingering uncomfortable feeling.
"Would you move?" He said firmly.

It had been a fairly relaxing time for Candice; she had gotten hurt in her initial landing in the Virgo outpost, but besides that, there want much she could talk about. She dearly missed all of her dolls as well as her rapier. Bottom line, she was bored and wanting something to do.
She soon noticed a group gathering near the mysterious room. It also seemed like it wasn't just curiosity that drove people to it but the fact that something was there. There were horrible noise sounds that came out of the room, but instead of being afraid, the sounds fueled her desire to know. The desire to know cured her of her increasing boredom.
Candice looked at the crowd that was growing, but said nothing. There were familiar faces, but she wanted to see! She didnt care if it was more of those damn bats. Candice very much wanted some action!

Grus flinched as a noise echoed through the outpost. What was going on outside? She considered leaving this group to investigate, but when a hissing sound came from up above, she froze in her tracks. "What the heck was that?" She said, returning her gaze upward.
"It's super creepy." she agreed with Raven, her pointer finger unconsciously going to her mouth. She bit down on the nail, thinking. What could be up there? It sounded like a snake or something..

"Nothing good..." Holi promised Eliza, edging backward to clear space for the senshi and knights present, gently waving to try and usher the other Civilians back from the hole as well. She was in the court of Civilians being far from useless, but the magically enhanced Senshi were the obvious choice for front lines here, which would, at minimum, give the Civilians time to get clear, or to find improvised weapons and try and help ensure their own safety, they were the second line of defense right now between the senshi and anyone who wasn't even well enough to be standing up, though right now she really hoped they didn't get past the FIRST line.
"If it really is a Space Squirrel...."
Ok she wasn't sure WHAT she'd do if it really was a 'space squirrel'. Crack a rib laughing at the irony maybe. A cosmic knock knock joke.

" As long as they don't get their paws on any sugar or caffeine, we should be okay." Darwin said blithely to the girl that had worried about taming space squirrels. " Socks are supposed to be very effective against Earth squirrels. Maybe they'd work against space squirrels too."
The Internet had said socks were effective against squirrels and everyone knew the Internet never lied, so it had to be true.
Feeling a hand take his, Darwin was briefly confused until he saw that the hand belonged to Raven. Well, that made sense; who else but Raven or Mary would be holding his hand? Soon Jett appeared as too, but that didn't surprise him, since when one member of the group appeared, others tended to pop up as well.
" Space squirrels should be easier to beat then a space whale; smaller. Well, unless they're space godzilla-squirrels. Or if there's a mob of them." Darwing sounded like he was discussing the weather, not what creature might want to eat them. " Sounds more like a snake though. Good. I like these socks."

Virgo couldn't spare even a moment for the civilians behind her other than to issue an order. "Civilians, behind me," and nothing else. If it was the vanished civilian, she was going to rip them to shreds--verbally, of course, not physically, she was no Chaos-corrupted Negaverser. But she would kick the idiot out onto the Surrounding if she had to.
THUMP THUMP THUMP THUMP
"It's a youma," she said after a moment, hands fisting in her skirt. "Not one of those Chaos creatures." Easy enough to defeat, she thought, especially with such a force. Still, it was a puzzle... how in the world had a youma gotten to the Surrounding? It should have repelled them. It should have--
THUMP THUMPTHUMPTHUMP---
No time to think about that. She slipped through the hole in the rocks, shoved them aside to make room in case any of the knights or civilians wanted to follow her up.

"A youma?" She said to Virgo, blinking in confusion. "But how'd a youma get all the way up here? And doesn't there have to be a Negaverse agent around to control it?"
Her questions went unanswered though, for the Zodiac Soldier shoved her way through the boulders, leaving a path big enough for anyone to follow. Knowing full well how scary it was to face things alone, Grus didn't hesitate to follow her through the rubble.
"If your coming." She called after making her way through the break. "Then there's two things you need to do. One, stay out of the way of the ones with magic. Some of us can't control where our powers go."
"Two," she went on to say "If we tell you to run like hell, then run like hell!" She sprinted up the stairs after Virgo, curious and more than a little scared at the thought of youma entering the Surrounding.

THUMP THUMP THUMP CRASH.
Whatever the youma was, it had gotten in - squeezed through the caved-in door in a much better coordinated way than it had scaled the stairs.
But the pesky senshi were following. It stopped and tilted it's head in an almost too human manner for a giant spider.
Because it was what it was. A giant spider, and it had found it's perfect battleground - the collums of the fourth floor's room provided ample space for it to shoot webs and lift itself forward.
The youma stared right at Virgo and Grus, and hissed, beady eyes narrowing in a way that was definitively too human.
Senshi.
Senshi and Knights : What the hell is a youma even doing this far from Destiny City ?! No matter that - this was a question that will have to be answered for another time - if you guys want to make sure the civilians will remain safe, spidey here needs to go down, so get on it ! Thankfully for you guys, Sailor Themis isn't here to b***h about spider youma and how much of a pain in the a** they are.
For this, im going to use a similar system that was used by the GMs in Enigma - if you cast your magic, please wait at least a round before using it again, since there are so many powered beings here ! Thanks <3
Civilians : Apparently there are many kind of monsters. It's kind of silly thought - a monster's a monster's a monster, right ? Thankfully you guys are lucky - there's plenty of senshi and knights to defeat spidey up here. Or maybe you think it will be more efficient to deal with it yourself. After all, can you really trust some terrorists in miniskirts with your safety.
Your options are quite clear at this point - do you grap whatever makeshift weapon you can think off and storm up the stairs to fight, or do you hide and hope Spidey will get a quick death ?

A youma? What the hell was a youma doing all the way out here?!
Ganymede didn’t bother to ask because he figured the question didn’t have an answer. After all, no one seemed to have much of an answer as to why and how all these civilians had gotten here, and if anyone did he certainly didn’t know about it, not to mention he’d heard some of them talking about space whales and bats and many of them had turned up injured, some severely, when he’d first arrived here himself.
“Don’t you think it’d be a better idea to get these people out of here first instead of letting them tag along?” he wondered, moving from between Valhalla and Babylon to follow after Grus and Virgo. “Sure, they’re not helpless, but some of them have already been hurt and freaked out enough!”
He didn’t like it. He hadn’t liked being involved when he’d been just another normal kid, and he didn’t like that other normal kids were being involved now. He thought they had too few answers to risk any of them being hurt.
Well, first thing’s first… when one’s magic is useless, one must find some other way to make do. Ganymede remained close to the others, while his eyes scanned around for something to use as a weapon. A great big can of Raid would have been nice...

Fritz had been rather quiet for the majority of the happenings at the Virgo outpost, following in an uncharacteristic silence as the rest of the crowd stood at the bottom of the stairs. Over the past few days, his head had begun to throb once more; most likely an after effect of the stress from everything that had been happening. Either that, or he was just tired - either way, Fritz was not feeling particularly pleasant at the moment - a fact that he rather disliked, since it meant he was not his usual goofy self.
However, the noises coming from the highest floor of Virgo was enough to draw him out of his sleeping bag, where he had been sitting rubbing his temples for the past quarter of an hour, hoping in vain for the pounding to retreat. This was Virgo's outpost, after all; it was the place of healing.
There were already several people that he recognized congregating around the staircase - Eliza, Hawke, Raven, the winged princess he had seen during their stint on the rainbow road, and Virgo herself, of course. But it was only after the thumping had increased that Fritz made his presence known, stepping beside Eliza, and putting a hand on her shoulder.
"What's a youm - " he started to ask, but Virgo was moving forward and then, quite suddenly, there was a scraping noise and something big, something black, and something enormous was directly in his line of vision.
A giant spider.
Fritz stared at it, completely stupefied into silence - at least until he realized that standing around doing nothing would be a rather dumb idea. He did not want to be eaten by a giant spider (He suddenly felt a strange kinship to Harry Potter), nor did he want to run and hide and hope that it would just go away.
And he could not leave the others to a fate he wasn't sure of. Diving forward, Fritz rummaged around frantically in a pile of rubble, finally pulling out a long piece of marble that could potentially pass as a bat (a pathetic bat). It wasn't much, but it would have to do, at least for now.
"All right, ya big black b*****d, let's see what you've got," Fritz growled, already feeling his heart pounding with adrenaline. Without a backward glance, he pelted up the stairs towards the spider.

They were the firsts. It was a scary thing to think about, through at least they emerged out of the mirror and onto planet Alkaid in one piece. Fluorite would have much preferred for Alkaid herself to take her - she was still a little nervous about the dark mirrors, but she thanked their guides anyway. General Fluorite was determined not to be the one to start any hostilities that might spark.
A nod toward her taller companion, and they walked forward. "Thank you... for coming with me. ...I didn't want to go alone." A brief moment of vulnerability, that vanished back where it came from as soon as those words had escaped her lips. She was just glad not to be alone. In a way, being here, in space, scared her, but there was no place for fear within a general of the negaverse. She forced the feeling as deep down as she could.
The surrounding had to be brought down, and Fluorite and her companion would be the first bullet to hit it.
Planet Alkaid must have been a very lovely place, but now it was covered in cracks much like it's senshi. In a way, being there without Alkaid herself made her uneasy. She'd gotten a very lengthy lecture on the process - she'd gone to the rift and temporarily tamed a youma, and was carrying the energy that would allow her to activate the crystal and link up completely with it.
She stopped in front of the stand that had been made for it, one of many, and took off her gloves, then worked out the belt on her chest, sending the armor part and her shoulderpad tumbling down on the sand. She had no idea if this was necessarily, but she didn't want to take any chances. She might need the direct contact and greater range of movement.
"Are you ready ?" She looked up at her companion again, then nodded to his positive answer. "Alright. Im going in-"
The energy orbs she carried here smashed against the crystal, and it started glowing - and when Fluorite put her eyes on it, she began to see and feel something much different.
"Oh god." She went stiff. "Oh god maybe I shouldn't have taken a spider. I bet this is what an acid trip looks like." Yeah. It took a moment for Fluorite to figure out up from down, but thankfully the youma was helping her a bit.
When she felt she had a decent grip on direction, she teleported her youma in.
"Im on a staircase. There's a lot of rocks..." Her partner couldn't see, of course, but she did - even if to him she was staring off in the emptiness of space, eyes unseeing of the stars that twinkled in front of them. She hissed suddenly. "********. Hit one." This was going to be a fun game, if she felt everything the spider did.
"Door... im gonna open it." Well, it meant beating it in, but thankfully being prepared with the pain of 'her' arms pounding on the door made it easier to ********, they're onto me already." She hissed. "I see one... two... more. ...What the ********, that's not a senshi !" Panic in her voice, there. "Maybe just not powered up but... Why aren't they powered up ?!"
Suddenly she had her doubts on Zinkenite's theory.
"They're coming - I got the door ! Oh... oh god this is gonna be fun, there's collums everywhere." She grinned. "Let's get this party started."((Just for clarification - your guys can't hear or see Fluorite and her (currently) mysterious partner - this is only for flavor and to explain some of the reactions the spider will have. If you guys would rather we split this to another thread we will ! This is my first time GMing anything so please just tell me if im Doing It Wrong. There might be a few bumps thanks to inexperience and I apologize in advance ! Also, ill allow people to join till next round <3 You're good, Kuro.))
