The horned stallion tilted his head forward, giving a heavy glare that bared red orbs in a socket of darkness. How dare he speak to him? How dare he have the audacity to actually respond when his word had been directed towards his mother. "No, not you," he grumbled out before fixing his attention back on his beloved mother who still had dampened cheeks from the frustrations that this young stallion's taunting had brought upon her.
The purple male with the red highlights leaned in slowly, knowing just how slow to go with his mother and gave a simple nuzzle to comfort. "If he is bothersome I could easily rid you of him..." he gave the sweet offering, believing that this might be what she desired but knowing his mom the way he did her heart would probably be under to much pressure of guilt. He loved Maisie so dearly because she was a good mother with good intentions and a kind heart but sometimes he just found her to be to soft. That was alright though because whenever she needed it she always had three sons to protect her from harm.
The mare shook her head the moment Dallon suggested getting rid of the red headed boy. "Th-that isn't necessary, son. No, I am fine. Everything is fine," she spoke in a definite tone but there was a hint of uncertainty that laced her expression so subtly. She could tell that this look confused her son. He was never the best when it came to understanding emotions. "He was just getting me a piece of fruit and it accidentally slipped out of his grip and we're not to sure where it rolled off to," she tried to convince her son. Maisie never naturally lied but when it was to prevent some sort of conflict she really didn't have much of a problem with it.
