Danny was actually surprised when a shoe came flying at her, even though she had just done the exact same thing to Colette. It was even worse that it was her own shoe being flung back at her. All Danny could think was how the shoe was a traitor. She was never putting it on again. Ever.
The poor shoe smacked her right in the face before she could catch it successfully in her hands. A red mark was growing brighter on her cheek now, but it would fade in a few minutes. Such marks never lasted long.
Regardless, Danny grinned and caught the shoe before it hit the ground. She didn't play maceball for nothing after all! Though she was still sore from catching it, Danny winded up and threw her other shoe as well at Colette. Double shoe attack!!
Danny was giggling at this point from how much fun this fight was. What had started as a serious duel was quickly becoming a shoe fight...

"Ow! Hey!" Colette twitched with each pelting of a shoe. Clearly she did not want them if she threw them back. "Stop with the shoe throwing!"
Not following her own command, she picked up the last shoe thrown and tossed it back, only hitting somewhere less effective than Danny's face. The other was off on its own somewhere, probably behind her. Colette didn't move any farther or closer to Danny. She was perfectly find there, even uncaring.

Danny gave a giggle as the shoe hit her arm and flopped to the ground uselessly. Colette had totally missed this time! Maybe she wasn't such a big bad reaper after all?
Okay now this was just silly. Shoes being thrown back and forth? This wasn't a fight, this was a fun fest! One that Danny heartily approved of. She stood up and started to look around for her shoes, when she realized that running around in socks was a LOT more fun.
Maybe too much fun.
Danny slipped and slid around for a while like that, like a kid discovering floor wax for the first time, and then eventually formulated an idea. Her eyes narrowed and she materialized a tiny fireball in her hand; it had Colette's name on it in big letters.
Danny slid towards the black haired knob and aimed a punch directly at her stomach. Part way through, Danny's socked feet gave up to traction and friction, and she slowed down. The halt made her stumble a bit, and she ended up on the floor, giggling like some sort of deranged hyena. "Colette you hafta try this!!" she gasped.

Colette's palm smacked against her forehead. Oh great, she was playing now and didn't even care about falling to the floor. Of course, throwing shoes really didn't enhance the seriousness of a fight.
Getting up, Colette summoned her weapons again. "No! Danny, we're supposed to take this seriously," she chastised. "Fighting out in the real world (worlds?) isn't always practice or play. It's dangerous." Colette didn't have her srs face on anymore. Now it was just a frown. "Let's finish this the right way already." The Reaper stood, twirling her weapons again, ready and waiting for Danny to make her move.

Danny stopped sliding around for about five seconds to turn around and said, "Serious? Serious??" She swiveled around and said, "YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW SERIOUS!!"
In a stupid fashion, Danny raced (slid?) towards Colette, once again charging her with the help of the slippery sliding floors. Danny feigned left, and then shot a fireball to Colette's right, hitting her on the arm.
Her plan wasn't very well thought out though, because at one point she slid past Colette, actually ending up behind her.

UP ON HER BOD.
Colette winced but kept focused, a shadowy circle like a doorway quickly forming in front her, and just like that -- POOF. Colette jumped into it and disappeared. Seconds afterwards, the same portal appeared behind Danny and the Reaper emerged, swords flailing.
"I KNOW SERIOUS MORE THAN YOU," she shouted. Her swords made contact with Danny and Colette literally kicked her butt to the floor. While the demoness was down, she took the liberty of placing one foot on her back to keep here there and aimed a sword inches from her spine.
"Promise me you'll pay attention on the field trip?" Colette pursed her lips and hoped Danny would answer correctly.

Danny gasped as Colette landed on her and pinned her to the ground with the force that only a knob could apply (which, consequently, was not that great. It was mostly the metal boots).
She was giggling until the sword came a tiny centimeter away from her spine, and ultimately her body. Colette wasn't going to kill her was she? WAS SHE?
"Coletteeee," she started whining, "Get off me you h-"
She was cut off as Colette as her a question. Danny tried flailing around a little to try and knock Colette off balance, or hit her somewhere as a last desperate attempt, but it was to no avail. She was absolutely pinned. "Fine," she huffed, "I'll be careful."

Colette actually chuckled, the frown had been gone just before she even pinned Danny down. "Alright!" She moved her sword from the more dangerous target and gave Danny a pat on the head, hard enough to take that last bit needed but not critical enough to do any serious damage. "Let's go get lunch now then." Colette got off of her friend and dismissed her weapons before reaching down to help her up with a smile.
"And you better keep your promise too," she said with a stern face, but only jokingly.
Or maybe she wasn't joking.

The battle is over! Danny's HP has decreased to -1, meaning her FEAR shield is gone. This is were Chii and I have agreed to end the battle. If Danny's HP had gone lower than -5, Danny would be unconscious, and -10 means dissipation!

Wooooah. WOOOOOAH. Danny didn't like this feeling. DANNY DID NOT WANT.
It was like her defense had been shattered without her even doing anything. Why was this happening? She briefly recalled Red saying something about a FEAR shield, but like that would help her now? What was she supposed to do? Haaaaaaalp.
Danny would've normally loved to eat food with Colette. In fact, the mere idea of socializing with Colette beyond an argument and fighting was just ... it was the best idea ever! It just came at the worst possible time.
Right now, Danny wanted nothing more than to run back to her dorm and curl up in a ball. A lot of snotcorn and a good movie sounded nice as well.
So Danny did just that. She raced away from the battle, eager to get away as soon as possible. In the process though, she dropped something shiny.

Danny is fleeing! Now that her FEAR shield is down, she is completely vulnerable to any attacks- that means if Colette swipes at Danny with her sword, she WILL get cuts and scars from it!
To flee from a battle, you simply roll a 20 sided dice. Your opponent will then roll a dice, if they choose to prevent your escape! The "victor" is whoever rolls the dice- If the escapee rolls higher, their escape is successful! If the blocker rolls higher, they successfully block the escape!
So in example, Danny rolled a 10. Should Colette try to block her from escaping, she would have to roll higher than a 10 to prevent Danny from leaving.

Danny just left... without a single word. Did the ghoul hate her for winning? Confused, Colette frowned and started after her until she noticed something on the ground.
Stopping for a moment, Colette picked up the object and discovered it was an emblem. How odd. Was it maybe Danny's? She probably would want it back. Colette placed it in the pouch on her belt where she kept Professor Savage's pin and headed out of the gym to find Danny.

Colette didn't bother to stop Danny, so she escaped with no problem and I didn't need to roll a dice!
If you read the RP in my post, you'll notice Colette picked up Danny's emblem. Emblems are a student's personalized pin, and owning a student's pin means that student will vouch for you, even if you are doing the wrong thing! Needless to say, it's either a sign of trust or being whipped. Giving emblems is completely up to you as players!
