The lack of visual input was not pleasant. He wasn't especially fond of being a passenger at the best of times, but on the other hand this wasn't anywhere near as communal bathrooms. It was good to have a benchmark like that in his life.
"So. Are you going to give me any hints about where we're going?" Frost asked after they have been going to some minutes. "Perhaps you could mislead me unintentionally, resulting in humorous misunderstandings upon arrival?" He had been down in one of the rec rooms last night to let Skiron socialize a bit and the television had been playing some kind of drama/comedy apparently entirely revolving around things like that. The room had been in paroxysms of laughter by and large and, on a few occasions, even Frost himself had smiled at a clever joke or play on words.

"I could do that but what if you're expecting it now? But fine." Xander said with a teasing tone. He glanced over at Frost then looked back to the road with a smile. "This time of night it's gorgeous, a view that you will never get in a big city and sound is never a problem." He dropped some real hints instead of a misdirection though.

"Humm..." Frost frowned behind his blindfold and tried to put together the cryptic clues he had been given. "Somewhere rural then," he said eventually, "if it's a sight you don't get in a big city.... I confess I have no idea what you mean by sound. I shall find out soon enough though, and I suppose I can speculate until then." Somewhere with good acoustics? Somewhere that created an interesting echo when you stood in the right place and shouted? There were a lot of possibilities, and he really had no idea which if any of them could be the truth.

Xander grinned as he listened to Frost try to figure it out but he didn't give him any more hints. Frost was smart so any more would up the chance of the surprise being unveiled before the right time. "I suppose so, though if you do get it right I still wouldn't say if you were." he chuckled. After a bit more he turned onto a side road to stop thirty feet or so in. Right ahead of where they stopped was a round concrete platform that had been made a long while ago for star research.
"We're here. Give me a few moments to set up then you can take off the blindfold alright?" the teen said before opening his door and quickly getting to work in setting up the fold-able table/chairs and placing the food and a few candles.

"Very well," Frost replied, perhaps just a hint of relief in his voice, "I look forward to being enlightened." And to being able to see. He felt safe he supposed just not... not comfortable. It was one of those things he found very hard or indeed impossible to explain, that wasn't logical in the least. If he knew he was safe, why should he feel disconcerted? Not very sensible at all and yet he couldn’t change how he felt. Feelings were difficult things to deal with but these days... these days, on the whole, he would rather have them than not. Though they were often hard to cope with and he didn't understand them properly, good feelings made life worth living. He hadn't felt so contented, so happy since before that woman had swanned into his life and stolen his friend from him. It was good to know that something like that wouldn't be happening again.

It thankfully didn't take Xander too long to set up. A table for two, two chairs, food laid out to be chosen from, a boombox down next to the table to play some soft music and a couple of candles for light but not enough to interfere with the view of the stars. He paused to look it all over and wondered briefly if Frost would like this sort of thing then pushed the thought aside and went over to the passenger door to open it. "Alright Snowy, you can take off the blind fold now." the blond said with a smile once the door was opened.
