A long fanged grin spread across her face as she felt her power returning. She cast another her resistance breaking spell again, she knew that these spells wore off after a time, and she had been unable to cast for a bit of time and the effects from her spell surely had worn of with she was taking the brunt of his attacks. Now she was back and ready to start her assault. "Pesky Little What?!" she howled out. Xian was in a bad mood now, she didn't like that she had to put up with that silence attack which slowed her down and she had to spend this time lining up her attacks again not like that was a huge pain, but Xian wasn't always the most patient when it came to fights, she like her victories quick, but that wasn't exactly happening this time.

Bour 'The Snake' Ying

Bour mentioned an impolite word used to refer to both female dogs and female humans one didn't like very much. In Xian's case, she was basically both, so hey... it was hard to get more accurate, right? He wasn't one of those people who had a problem with being rude around, or towards, women. Honestly, somebody who thought themselves a fighter but just looked to get by through nothing other than brute force? That was just sad. Honestly. People like that tended to do nothing except try and get by with brute force, and however much power they had, they tended to get completely destroyed when they went up against somebody who was truly more powerful, and they usually weren't quite the same afterwards. Too much pride, and somebody with more power would ultimately go ahead and smash it. He'd seen it happen oh so many times... with every victory, they grew more confident in themselves and their power, drunk off of their winning... and then someday, someone came along and just crushed them like the bugs they were. He'd watched it happen to a lot of potentially powerful folk, and even had it happen to himself once or twice. The difference? He'd always managed to survive somehow. Let others be prideful, honorable, noble, and grand. It usually got them killed in short order. He was perfectly happy with running away when things looked nasty, thanks kindly. Better to run and live than stay and die, no matter how great your benefactor was. You only got one life, after all, and there was exactly nothing in the world Bour cared about more than saving his own hide... except maybe for Mokou. Still, a foul grin crossed his face as he landed on the ground and spread his wings across the air in front of his body, forming a guard against her attack. Really, only an idiot wouldn't do at least that much. And somebody who'd managed to scurry about as long as he had was very far from stupid... despite how it often seemed. But it took a certain sort of psychopathic genius to survive and prosper in the dark underworld, and he'd survived for quite a few years past the most optimistic estimates.

What a fool, thinking that he was safe hiding behind those wings. It wouldn't matter for much longer. This was only the start of her end game, she had put up with this disgusting man for far too long. Once this was over the company of the Taihaku Clan would be a god send compared to the level of filth she dealt with while fighting, although she loved and was itching for a fight, but this isn't exactly what she was expecting. It wasn't like she didn't have a reason to filled with pride, she had a good track record of not dying in battle so she had a reason to be happy and proud. Her eyes narrowing she let out a deafening howl that practically shook the buildings around them to the core. It wasn't the worst howl she could bellow out but to anyone around it wouldn't be too pleasent on their ears and for her enemies it'd be even worse

Bour 'The Snake' Ying

Blood dripped from Bour's wings, the part of his body that had fallen Victim to the wolf-girl's attack. That was... actually a pretty impressive attack, and he didn't quite feel like feeling it again. He had all kinds of offensive attacks, but nothing of real power, which had always annoyed him. With a snarl, he sent a burst of healing energy through his wings and took off into the sky, flapping away from the fight. Screw this crap; he wasn't getting paid enough to go through the trouble of dealing with demon freaks like that one. Just had to head somewhere else and lie low for awhile, and then... heh heh heh.

Sylvester "The Croc" Crocker

"Tch, take a look a'that little punkass bugging out already! What a waste of cash...ole' Stopwatch should have jus' let me eat 'im," a gruff voice suddenly pierced the air from the upper levels of the Iwatodai Strip Mall overlooking the streets below. His black eyes had watched as Bour Ying was beaten by a mother wolf demon of some sorts and went flying off like the coward that he was, followed by the wolf running off in another direction, foolishly leaving behind one of her own younglings unprotected. Such a shame. For them, that was. For the man atop the third level of the strip mall's overlooking balcony, however, it was fortune that smiled upon him. A tasty little treat like that girl down there just for him? All alone? His spiked teeth shone in a wide grin as he looked down at her, his previous words likely enough to get her attention and draw it up to where he watched her with great amusement. His face and clothes were spattered with dried blood from his most recent meal...some poor teen he had caught ditching school in an alley over near Paulownia. Dumb b*****d, shoulda stayed in school. Then again, who would have thought he would run into a monster like this one, a beast who had sacrificed any claim he held on humanity to the devil that now slumbered inside of him. He had to eat humans, eat demons, and he had to eat them frequently to keep from being devoured himself. It was a gruesome price to pay, but his twisted sort of mind thrived on it. Being given this power was dangerous for others, but he didn't particularly mind. Sylvester Crocker was a fairly irredeemable character, a street tough and a killer in one of Belfast's most ruthless gangs. He had killed before...now he had been given the power to kill more. And his target was standing before him, all three feet (or whatever it was) of her.

"Tough break, eh lil' ankle-biter? Yer' ma just up and leavin' ya like that..." the man teased as he leaned over the rail quite a bit and smirked down, teeth shining sharply, feeling that old familiar thrill that came with a hunt coming back to him, "...But doncha be worryin' too much about 'er. I'll mail 'er a bone or two to remember ya by." Licking his lips, the man leaned entirely forward until his body lurched and tumbled all at once over the rail like some sort of a drunkard before flipping and landing in a crouch upon the pavement three floors below, on the street before the strip mall. He smirked as the blacktop cracked a little and gave way to him (as opposed to the other way around), mouth opening and a ravenous breath escaping him. This one was barely an appetizer...but still, he couldn't help but want to dig in as soon as possible.

Fina

Fina held one hand forward, triumphantly, as a... crocodile-man of some sort... landed in front of her. She'd heard stories of a legendary sewer gator demon (oh, how she wanted to meet it!), but this didn't seem quite the same. "When nobody else is around, I don't have to worry about holding back!" the girl answered the man. "I'll turn you into into a handbag for Lord Seo!" Electricity crackled between her hands as Fina held them close together, and out of her back sprouted the rest of her body, complete with all of its eyes and tendrils as the young demon-girl got ready for battle. A moment later, her spell took effect, sending a surge of electrical energy across the area to blow apart lights, detonate a few vending machines, and surge straight towards her enemy. He seemed like the type who'd be comfortable in water, after all... so electricity was totally the way to go, right? "You won't live long enough to regret the day you stood before a Boss of the Taihaku!" Or, well, a future boss. She hoped. Hey, a girl could dream, right? Oh, for the day when she would be as powerful as Lord Seo, but many times sexier...

With a girl that size he really wasn't expecting her to be packing a whole lot of firepower...let alone a bunch of tentacles and eyeballs that would have been disgusting if he weren't so hungry and non-discriminating. Tipping his hat as he stood, then, it was with some surprise that the lightning the girl shot drilled him straight in the chest and sent him with a vicious shock through the front door of the old used book store run by an elderly couple, sending old magazines and such scattering all over and shattering the wooden desk. It was a rather violent shock, his head slamming against the back wall as his skid finally ended, spiked teeth clenching tightly as a thick black-red blood dripped down his forehead. 'What in the Hell was that?' his mind screamed and bit angrily, the tall man pulling himself to his feet inside of the book store as he looked out the shattered entrance, seeing the tiny figure out in the road waiting for him to return for another round. These Taihaku Clan demons...the Hell were they supposed to be made out of, anyway? "It doesn't matter...all I've got to do is get my hands on her and I'll rip 'er apart and suck the marrow out of 'er squishy lil' bones!" the man growled as he slammed his fist into a bookshelf, practically rendering the old pages into dust that scattered and fell to the floor all about his feet...before finally starting the march back towards the street, adjusting his hat, and grinning like a fiend. If she was going to play rough, he could do the same...nobody said he had to be nice to the little brat.

"Tick tock..." his throat growled as he reached the dimly lit door, his white teeth shining and eyes seeming the glow as he looked out into the brightly-lit street where the girl was waiting for him, "Naughty little whelps get fed to the Croc!" His wide grin was intimidating, but if that wasn't enough, his next move was positively animal...his right fist hitting the front wall of the store to the right of the door and smashing it to crumbling little pieces, the man then turned his head to the left and with one large bite he gripped the wall, sharp teeth piercing the sturdy material, and then ripped away a chunk no smaller than a beach ball. He gripped it tightly in his fearsome jaw, and then, twisting his neck violently, he flung the heavy debris in the direction of the little girl with all the velocity of a demonic fastball. his growl was deep, satisfaction written in his eyes as the load was thrown. Smartass little brat...turn him into a handbag? She could FIT in a handbag! But there wouldn't be enough of her left to fill a compact when he was finished with her...

Fina

As the attack came in at her, Fina reached back, then punched it just as it reached her... shattering the material used for the attack. The girl shook her hand a moment later; it looked a bit bloody from being used to hit something so hard, but she seemed very resistant to the damage, and her injury healed on its own as her recovery powers took effect. A Boss could hardly let themselves be made to look bad by dealing with weak attacks, after all, and Fina's energy provided her with a constant rejuvenation from harm. Which had once been very awkward when others had been busy experimenting on her... "I forbid you from making the most of your strength!" Fina declared as she opened up her hand and pointed at the crocodile-man, her demonic power filling her words with the weight of her convictions and forcing her foe to comply. If they tried to get out of it, well... heh. "And we'll see who eats who. I'm hungry, and roasted flesh sounds good right now, so burn!" One of the tendrils on her back opened its mouth and breathed out a wide stream of flames, sending the fire right into the bookshop to not just try and burn her opponent, but also set the entire bookstore on fire with him still in it. Woe to anybody who relied on that place... not that Fina particularly cared about humans, considering them to be mainly walking sources of food.

Annoying, annoying, annoying, that's all the little pest was. She had some pop to her little fists, he'd give her that, but dealing with the attack the way that she did was just showing off. It was annoying. No excuse for such a thing against a fierce creature like the Croc...he'd make her regret trying to act like some sort of a big shot in such pint-sized pants! "Forbid me? As if I'd care what chu' think about how I fight!" the green-haired man growled from the door as she stood like a boss in the fight she was going to die in, spiked teeth aching to take a bit ole' chunk out of her just to set the record straight, "But if yer that scared of gettin' ripped to shreds, I got other ways o' killin' ya. All yer doin' is pickin' yer poison." As if to prove the point, a spray of fire that washed over him and singed his thick skin and the books all behind him ended after a few long moments, a few ugly red and black burns marring him, though his black eyes were still wild and wide...and yet despite the attack he had not been deterred, still readying one of his own for the pint-sized bruiser. Did she really think someone like him was just a one-note wonder? What a crock!

"Yer nothin' but fodder!" the croc-man growled as a steam began to leak from the corners of his mouth, the last hint at what was coming before his cheeks swelled, his mouth filled with a boiling spray, and in one sudden heave a stream of high-pressure water answered her burn and wrecked a path across the distance between them, like a wave of water shot directly from his mouth to cook the little morsel until she was nicely done and the meat was falling off the bone. He could practically taste it! "That was the ole' Bubble Breath...how ya like that, eh? Ready t' cry home to yer mommy?"

Fina

A shriek, impossible to mistake as anything except that of a child, erupted out of Fina's mouth as the stream of water smacked into her and sent her bouncing backwards. "D-don't do that again!" the girl bellowed, instinctive fear more than any real strategy giving rise to her words. The little half-pint child was indeed relatively powerful for a demon... but she was a child. It was easy to be confident until you actually got hurt... "And don't make fun of me!" she stamped the ground with one foot a few times, clearly having a bit of a tantrum even as her wounds began to close. "I am not fodder! I'm a Boss, and I'm gonna be tall and beautiful and powerful and even the best Summoners will want me on their side, but I won't go with them because I serve Lord Seo, so shut your big, stupid mouth, you ugly handbag!" She held out both of her hands, and a stream of electricity flowed out towards the other demon, crackling past everything in its way to seek out and tear into Fina's enemy. Oh, yes, she was pretty mad now... Not that she was at all intimidating or anything, even when angry. Powerful or not, nobody could really see her as anything except the child she was...

Hearing the little girl shriek in pain might have been rather harrowing or unsettling for somebody who had some semblance of balance to their mind, or a conscience which ticked and gave you a little rumbling or twisting feeling inside your stomach when something that sounded so wrong or unconscionable crossed your ears. The response that Sylvester Crocker had to hearing such an ear-piercing shriek was something else entirely. Burned and injured as he was, there was just something so very satisfying about hearing her scream, and not only that, the fact that her shriek was so nasty, so childlike, that it reminded him (as if he needed reminding) of the girl's size and age once more. And he loved it. "HAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHA! What a joke! What a lil' joke you are, girlie! Boss? Beautiful? Yer a freak! An ugly tyke that shoulda been tossed inta a dumpster somewhere before they ever had a chance to grow into whatever abomination ya are! The world'll thank me for offin' a little monsterling like you! That is, if any of 'em even knew yer name!" His laughter boomed until a shock of lightning crossed the distance, a deep, feral growl inside of the man's throat erupting as the jolt coursed through his veins, and undeniable burn and sizzle to it that probably hurt him much more than he would have ever been willing to admit. And yet...even despite the pain he knew he was getting into the girl's head, this little kid...she was just a kid after all! All he had to do was rough her up a bit more and she'd be ripe for the chewing.

The shock passed and he could feel the blood inside of his mouth sizzling, burning the tips of his tongue...he spat it out the side to the ground and grinned toothily as it dissolved on the blacktop, narrow black eyes thinly set upon her. "Cheap! Yer just a cheap imitation of a devil..." the man-croc's white teeth were stained red, but rather than backing down from the damage he had suffered he stepped forward, his throat expanding and the heat welling up inside of his mouth once more...until finally he drew within a few meters of Fina and in an instant, a spray...not just a single heavy shot but a series of repetitious shots, high-speed and powerful each one, began to unload upon her, an intention to pummel her into submission. She hadn't liked the first one, so now she'd get plenty more where that came from. Stupid kid...she'd pay for that fire...and the lightning...

Fina

The water blasts arced through the air, deadly and powerful, but the bursts of power slowed as they reached the girl... and instead of hitting her they simply collected into a sphere in front of her that the girl scattered with one curt blow. "I told you not to do that kind of thing! Those who disobey a Boss must be punished!" the girl said, pointing at Sylvester. A beam of violet energy shot out of her finger; Almighty power, able to go through almost any normal defense with impunity. She seemed perfectly fine with retaliating against him for pissing her off, it seemed. "You're as stupid as you are ugly, but pay attention when I'm talking to you!" By now, her injuries were gone, the product of her constant regeneration, and the girl punched one palm with her fist. "I am Fina Res-Taihaku, a servant of Lord Seo, the leader of our clan! Oh foolish person who doesn't even know that judging demons on appearance is the act of an idiot, let me show you what real power is all about!" The girl raised both hands above her head. "Lord of chaos, grant me your power, and permit me to destroy my foes!" Energy appeared in an enormous sphere above the girl's hands, gathering more and more power as it condensed into a brilliant sphere of violet power. Beneath the light of the attack as it charged its energy, Fina looked perhaps a little less like a child... and a little more like the moderately powerful demon she truly was. The girl grabbed the sphere of energy with both hands just a moment later and hurled it forward with all the power in her tiny little body. Oh, yes. She was retaliating, all right, and in as big a way as she could against people who didn't pay attention to what she was telling them. "Who's an imitation now, you smelly stinky-face!?"

Sylvester "The Croc" Crocker

That...was unexpected. Watching his water spells dissipate and feeling the sting of retribution upon him made the green-haired warrior's stomach impact and blood spat out from his mouth onto the pavement in front of him. Some trick, but that didn't mean he was going to let this little ankle-biting freak have her way! He was hurt by the retaliation, but he still wasn't out...seeing her winding up for another attack with an exaggerated motion and some time taken out for an annoying little speech was all the time he needed to make a move. And move he did, leaping into the air and digging his thick fingers into the balcony of the second level of the strip mall tightly, he hung for a split second before pulling with all his strength and tearing down the concrete walk, steel wires and thick cement alike held within his hands like a shield as he landed, the impact of the Morning Star striking his defense and shattering it, the impact turning it to dust and tossing him back into a cracking dent in the wall of the WacDonalds Burger behind him. And yet...he was still standing, his body shaking with a mixture of pain and anger, he pried himself from the wall with an eye closed and blood dripping from his mouth. "Shut yer trap, girlie! I don't know ye and I don't care. Yer meat is all ye are!" he grit out as he walked forward, a picture of anger and determination plunging forward, looking quite demonic as he zeroed in on the little fiend with the foulest of intentions.

"Ye've had yer last laugh at the Croc's expense...now, I'm gonna show ya why ye don't f*** around with grownups. And then, I'm gonna eatcha," the green-haired fiend growled, his body slowly changing as he moved closer and closer, green skin forming and scales up and down, his teeth becoming more demonic, his teeth growing sharper, deadlier...and his eyes were now a sinister gold, muscles bulging, tearing at the seams of his clothes...like some sort of a comic book villain, a human-crocodile hybrid, his fingernails were claws and his fists miniature wrecking balls. One could practically smell the human on his breath, the lives he had taken in the name of his 'meals'. Clenching his fist tightly, he towered over the tiny girl and growled, teeth tight and wide, an intimidating frame menacing over her. He should never have played with his food...but now, he was going to enjoy this more than ever. "Say goodnight, pipsqueak!"

Fina

"Goodnight, pipsqueak!" Fina said as another surge of electricity erupted out of her fingers and shot towards the crocodile-man, arcing through the air with deadly intent. His breath was almost pleasant... surprising, for somebody she was fighting. Or maybe not. Mmm, human. Grilled or broiled, charred or fried, living flesh or newly died... they were good so many different ways. "Somebody with as little elegance as you doesn't deserve to be with any group that matters; a lowly beast should go back into its cage!" And with that, the girl jumped back and grabbed onto a pole, scrambling up the side of a building and using her tiny tentacles almost like octopus legs. She seemed surprisingly agile as she wiggled up the structure, away from the ground where a monster like him would be most effective. Why let her opponent take the initiative when she could do something else instead?

Sylvester "The Croc" Crocker

Hit by lightning, the Croc was already hurting about as badly as his body could be before transforming, so a little added pain was of little consequence to the transformed fiend in his new form. He was damaged, yes, and the lightning damaged him a bit more...his new form afforded him a little increased defense, though, so it wasn't quite so bad as before. And at this point he was fighting in a mode that was something akin to berserk. He wasn't recovering, he wasn't beaten enough to fall down just yet, and he wasn't disabled...like an undead thing he continued forward, enduring the lightning. Even as the pipsqueak aimed to move the fight to another locale, his mind was tossing out logic and all actions henceforth were dedicated to a single end...ending this fight as soon as possible, without games, and tearing the little wretch to edible, crunchable shreds! And it was on that instinct that the powerful man-croc crushed his fingers into the blacktop before his feet and with a great heaving strength tore away a chunk of the very road, golden eyes tracking the creature as he scuttled up a pole and towards the roof of the building...precisely where it would never make it. His arms and back flexed incredibly, his teeth clenched so tightly that they might have shattered, and with a gutteral roar he uncorked a fastball of blacktop and deadly cement that plastered the little girl-demon not just against the upper-right corner of the strip mall, but through it, tearing away a significant hunk of the long building with Fina sandwiched between the two of them, smashed and driven, until the two crashed back down to the pavement on the far side of the side alley of the mall to where the croc followed but a moment later, his shadow looming down the alley as he turned the corner, all leathery green scales of him.

"Smart mouths are always the first to get shut up," the beast-like man growled as he moved to the cement-Fina-building sandwich and reached down, digging his claws into the sides of the blacktop chunk with a wide, toothy smirk. Stupid little girl thought herself a demon? Only a real demon could even think of surviving that move, and that tyke didn't even begin to measure up. Kill him, would she? Like he gave a damn what she thought. He just hoped she wasn't too flat to eat. "I only wish you were still alive, just so I could hear ye scream when I bite that filthy little head of yers off yer scrawny little neck..." Chuckling to himself, his knees bent and flexed, and with another lift, the blacktop came free from the sandwich, a slab of pure black asphalt hefted high above his head as golden eyes came down to focus on the remains of the girl-creature. "But I guess that's...just the way the big-mouthed brat crumbles..."
