Daniel Alexander Johnson~ Alex was waving at the cheering crowd along with Claire as the curtains closed. After the curtains closed he went over to a wooden box where his water bottle lay, set his bass down leaning against it, and took a drink. As he glanced around the backstage area he saw crew members moving around, and some retreating out the back door to go home for whatever reasons. He acknowledged Claire's complement when she said that they did a great job, as usual, but he said nothing in response to it. He never really does, except maybe when Lee is around. Turning around to meet Lee and Claire, the bassist wasn't surprised to find the lead singer throwing her arms around them and giving a small kiss on the cheek to each of them. He didn't really do anything in return; he just kept his hands to his sides when Claire hugged him. After her arms were no longer around him, Alex shoved his hands in his pockets and responded in a laid-back tone "Why not." Then, leaning against the wall, he removed his hands from his pockets, grabbed his water bottle again, and finished off the last drops of water before tossing it in the trash can. "So, are we gonna go right after this or what?", he asked casually, shoving his hands back in his pockets. ((ooc; If this seemed kinda out of character, that usually happens on my first post ^^' I get more used to it afterwards~))

 James Lee AndersonLee smiled happily at the crowd with appriciation. The applauding always heightened his spirit and made him much more comfortable. Lee retrieved his Fiddle case after the curtain closed and put it away carefully. "Thank you, you were great as always Claire." He smiled back at her as he stood up again with his case in his hand. Claire approached him after Alex and hugged him also. He hugged her back lightly with one hand. He was used to this kind of affection from her after all the years of being with her and Alex but her kisses always had a way of making him blush anyway. It was her praise he would tell himself and nothing more even though deep down he felt otherwise. "Yeah I could go for one." he glanced at Alex then back to her.

Claire beamed up at Alex and Lee when they agreed to get ice cream. "Yay!" she exclaimed, clapping her hands together. "We just have a quick meet-an'-greet with the fans out back and then we can head out. But lemme change out o' these heels first!" Turning to make sure someone had put her guitar in its case, she rushed to her dressing room. She took off her heels and dress and changed into skinny jeans, cowboy boots, and a purple flannel shirt. Setting her cowboy hat back on her head, Claire made her way back to Alex and Lee. "Ready?"

Daniel Alexander Johnson~ "Mmk", Alex said with a shrug. "I'm just gonna wait here, then." As Claire went to the changing room he listened to the cheering crowd that was still there, desperately waiting for Blue Moon to appear from behind the curtains. The amount of people was large, although the bassist was used to big crowds. He shrugged the noise off as he stared boredly at the wall on the opposite side of the backstage area. When Claire returned he shrugged yet again and replied "As always" as he emerged off the wall, keeping his hands in his pockets because he wasn't one for slapping the reaching hands of their fans. Of course, Claire's appearance did not impress him. This was for two reasons: they've been together for years and he is, afterall, gay. She did look pretty decent for a girl, though. Alex then glanced at Lee and Claire as he said in a casual tone "So, let's go" before walking towards the curtains and waiting for them there. He cocked his head towards the tiny gap between the two curtains when he got there, indicating the cheers of the crowd that seemed ongoing.

James Lee AndersonLee looked down at her heels and smiled slightly. "Good idea." He chuckled. When she left to go change he walked to a nearby billboard with posters and began reading them to give him something to do while he waited. He turned his direction towards Alex after a while and was about to say something when Claire returned. His attention was instantly back on her. She always looked so cute in her cowboy hat. "Ready!" He repiled.

♪ CLAIRE ROSE BENTLEY ♪ "God blessed the broken road...
Claire smiled and lead the way through the closed curtains. As soon as they parted the crowd's cheering grew even louder. Claire made her way to the edge of the stage and took a seat, shaking hands and taking a wide variety of objects to sign. As she chatted with a little girl on her dad's shoulders, someone came up beside them and tapped Claire on the knee. "Hey," he said. "Sam!" Claire said, surprised to see her boyfriend there. "I thought ya said ya wouldn't be able to make it!" "Can we talk?" he asked, looking at Claire seriously. "Sure...?" Looking back at the girl with a smile, Claire said, "I'll be right back, sweetie," before motioning to Sam to follow her backstage.

James Lee AndersonLee followed Claire and Alex out of the curtains a bit timidly as always but smiled kindly all the same. He beamed around at the large crowd and greeted a few familiar people from school as he sat down with Alex and Claire. Many people approached him to compliment his playing and he would always thank them greatly. Such things like. "You know, that really means a lot thank you so much for coming." He would say genuinely. When he noticed Sam appear next to Claire he pretended not to notice until Claire followed Sam to the back. Lee's eyes drifted off into thought as he signed a item for someone. Something just didn't feel right. Suddenly his mom waved her hand in front of his eyes and he looked up at her blankly but then he smiled. He stood up from his seat and hugged her. "Ah mom, Its nice to see you." he said. They joked around for awhile and then said their goodbyes.

"So what's up?" Claire asked when she and Sam were finally backstage. She turned around to face him and reached for his hands but he put them in his pockets. "Claire... I can't do this anymore." Claire looked up at Sam curiously. "Can't do what?" "This," Sam replied. "Us. I just can't do it." "But wh-" "I cheated on you. I cheated on you, Claire, and I'm leaving you for her." Claire looked at Sam in disbelief. Was she really hearing him correctly? "I'm sorry," Sam said before leaving through the back exit. "Why...?" Claire whispered, a tear rolling down her cheek. She wiped it away and laughed. "Why does this always happen to me?" she said to no one as she put her hands on her hips. She shook her head and smirked as more tears began to fall.

Daniel Alexander Johnson~ Alex followed Claire out from behind the curtains and found himself face-to-face with an even larger wave of cheers emitting from the crowd. Most of the people reaching out to him were screaming fan-girls, and he had no choice but to sign their albums. As usual, he still refrained from slapping their hands. His head jerked around as he watched Sam appear, walk away with Claire, and return alone. He walked more confidently than usual when he returned. Not again... Alex thought, rolling his eyes. Alex then walked casually over to Lee and tapped his shoulder, not even caring that he might have been interrupting something. "I'm sorry for interrupting you but...," he said in a sarcastic voice. He removed one hand from his pocket and concluded his sentence simply by pointing to the backstage area, hoping that Lee would get the message.

James Lee AndersonLee's mother had left by then and the line of people was finally beginning to disperse. As he answered a question of a fan his thoughts kept drifting off to Claire and he found himself staring off into space again. His eyes focused when Sam passed by and it was apparent that he was avoiding Lee's gaze. Lee felt a tap on his shoulder which jerked him awake from his trance. He looked around to see Alex gesturing towards backstage and he was quiet for second as his eyes widened. "...You gotta be kidding me" he mumbled. He was expecting the worst as he began to walk towards the back. "Come on." he said urgently to Alex. He pushed through the curtain and saw Claire standing there alone, shaking her head. "Claire?" He asked gently and put a hand on her shoulder. It was then that he noticed the tears rolling down her cheek. He stood in front her putting his hands on her shoulders. "What happened?" Lee said seriously looking into her eyes.

"What?" Claire said, not hearing Lee's question. If fact, she was so out of it that she did not even see him standing in front of her. "Sam left," she said at length, wiping away the tears and finally focusing on Lee. "I guess he cheated on me... Nothin' new, right?" She laughed. "Two months... Is it really that impossible to find a guy who wants to be with me fer more than two months?" She smirked and looked over at the curtains. "We should get back to our fans so we can get ice cream..." She turned back to Lee and smiled sadly before going back to the fans and putting up a happy front.

Daniel Alexander Johnson~ Alex stuffed his hand back in his pocket as he followed Lee backstage. Instead of getting close, he leaned against the wall in front of Claire. "Okay then. Well, I'm glad you're strong, Claire," he said in his normal tone with a shrug. Unsatisfied with what he'd said, Alex added, looking up at the cieling, "Look, you're too good for them. You should be glad to those bast***s outta your life." The bassist then cooly followed Claire onto the stage and was met with cheering once again. Avoiding eye-contact with the fan-girls of whom he had already signed their albums, he walked over to the other side of the stage to sign the album of an 5-6 year old girl who was gaining the support of her mother in order to reach out to him. "Thank you!", the girl smiled as Alex kneeled down to sign her album. He struggled at first to find the most perfect, kind tone he can before replying "You're welcome," and then got up to stroll around the stage some more. ((Edited))

James Lee AndersonLee gazed at her questionably until she finally spoke the words he had been dreading. Had he really been dreading this though? He made himself believe he was. Lee stayed quiet as she told him out right what happened and his arms fell back to his side. He shook his head in disagreement to her question. "Of course its possible..." but he didn't even think his words got through to her as she forced a smile. When Alex spoke up afterwards Lee nodded in agreement. It was very true, she was better off without those shallow guys. "W-wait." he protested to Claire but she had already disappeared behind the curtain and Alex along with her leaving the gloomy fiddlist alone. He waited a few minutes not moving. Standing with his eyes to the ground sadly. It wasn't good for her to be shoving those painful emotions to the side like that but what could he do? Lee reluctantly walked out the the crowd of fans again and tried his best to stay or at least look happy as he walked around and shook peoples hands. ((ooc: edited))
