Perseus blinked a bit slowly, mulling over what he had said. The words were unfamiliar, but they sparked a recognition. She'd learned about what he was talking about just briefly once when someone had mentioned the game like it was common knowledge. She'd been embarrassed to know so little, so she had gone home that very night and looked it up.
"Horde? Thats World of Warcraft right?" So maybe she didn't play (it had seemed interesting enough to give it a try, but between senshi responsibilities and schoolwork she had thought it wouldn't be a frugal endeavor), but at least she could associate it with the game.
Though she might have acted a bit more confident about it if she'd been able to hear his sexist thoughts. Perseus didn't take kindly to being told that she fit into a stereotype, even if she did a little bit.

She had successfully surprised him: for a breath, that look was wiped off of Veer's face, and his mouth actually snapped closed, no words spilling out of him. It wasn't something destined to last long. It wasn't like she was the only girl he'd ever met who'd heard of the game; in fact, there were a few in his guild. It was just, well, Veer'd seen pictures of them, and none of them had looked like Perseus. It was probably a confidence thing.
"...hey, you even said it right." This was probably not the right thing to say, but it was what came to mind so -- well. So out it came. His tone was really more patronizing than it should have been, impressed to a degree that was almost insulting. He smoothed a hand over his hair.

Perseus took great pride in watching as the smug look dropped from his face. Unfortunately it made its way back on rather quickly, followed by an unnecessarily snide comment, which actually stung her pride a fair amount. She liked to know just about everything she could, and prided herself on not being left out of references.
Perseus sighed. "Thank you for all of your help Veer." She didn't want to make anything worse than it already was. The civilians were trapped in space, and if one wanted to be a jerk she wasn't going to call him on it. After all it was probably a pretty rough experience. "Let me know if you need help with anything else while you are here." She waved and smiled before turning to leave the armory. Hopefully he wouldn't make any more trouble while he was here.
