Opal snorts. "It's how I became like this. So tell me how I can forget that?" Grins at him. "So I get a canyon all of my own?"

"Yup no insubordinate stallions allowed. Foals by invitation only and I can go whenever you want me too." he smiled. He hoped this would make her happy, it made him happy to know he had a place to go to be alone and or with Opal.

Opal smiled following after him. "So you will bring me treats and treat me like royalty?" She sort of liked that thought. "Yes you shall bring me ummmm seaweed! And it must be fresh and of the best you can find."

"I always treat you as the royal you are." He raised an eyebrow at her. "Do you even like seaweed?" His eyes crossed. This means I have to go to Tide's pond without him noticing, he has the best seaweed."

Opal thought a moment. "Nope. But I want it! You can't deny me seaweed. I want it!" She started whining about wanting seaweed as she trotted behind him. "Your children are demanding seaweed!"

'Is this normal? Unexplained seaweed cravings?" he asked, laughter in his voice. "Don't worry about the seaweed, I'll bait Tide away with something, maybe slug duty."

Opal grunted. "How am I spose to know. I never been this way before." She nipped at his tail. "I want seaweed!"

Ion curled his butt under. "I'm working on it! We gotta get you to the canyon first Opal. And then I need to sneak past my brother, or do you want seaweed first?"

Opal pranced after him. "Alright. Canyon then you can go get me some seaweed." She yawned a bit as they got nearer. "Ohhhh look there it is!" She bounded past him towards the canyon. "So here home shall be for now. Then after the foals come I'll return to home."

"I promise to visit often, Now however I must go and fetch you lots and lots of seaweed." He smiled. She certainly was a damanding little mare when she was pregnant. He couldn't wait to see her with their foals.

 Opal nodded. "Bye Ion. I'll see you later." Opal wandered over to content herself with the creek. She leaned down starting to drink from the creek when she got a rather hard tug on her tail. She brought up her head then swung it around ready to give whatever tugged her tail a beating. She gave a small gasp. "Who are you? And where are your parents?" Illian smirked while still holding her tail in his mouth. "I'm Illian! Will you be my momma? I lost mine!" He dropped her tail giving her a pleading look. "Please be my momma?"Opal blinked staring at the pleading colt. How could she resist that adorable face. "Awwwww." She peered at the friendly little fella. "Of course!" Illian let out a gleeful neigh as he bounded around splashing into the creek sending water all over Opal. "I got a momma! I got a momma!"

Ion walked off and headed home. The valley wasn't too far away and in fact he thought it was still on herd lands, therefore it was a safe and comfortable place for his pregnant wife. He reached the pine and saw Hellfyre napping. Well Opal had put him on double patrol.
"Where is Tide?"
"With Kainda."
"Good"
Ion headed straight for Tide's pond with a large basket that he had found a while ago. He pulled seaweed until he turned blue and he stuffed the basket full. He had to nearly drag the thing on the way back to the valley.
"Opal, my love! I have your seaweed!"

Opal was to busy giggling as she watched Illian prance around splashing her. "You are so adorable!"
Illian stopped spotting Ion then ran and hid behind Opal. "There's a funny horse over there momma."
Opal looked over then let out a whiny in greeting. "Come here Ion and see what I have!" She turned her head looking at Illian. "It's alright he'll be your daddy." She whispered to him.

Ion cocked his head. What had Opal been up too, he had only left her for a few minutes. He dragged his basket of seaweed with him.
"Opal? My gem, whats going on?"
He stood before her. His frame steady and his gaze level. What could possibly have happened since he had left? She looked happy and that was good.
