She did make quite the point, one he knew of but had decided to over look in favor of putting it out there. He wasn't surprised it was noted and the holes pointed out.
Had they really attracted that much attention? Just two people discussing something so simple? Or was he really discussing something new to these people, something new and interesting. He didn't find it something special and to be eavesdropped upon. But he had finally noticed the people doing just that. Honestly!
Hearing her start to talk he nodded his head. Her words were similar to his own, the same basic idea. Truth was considered to be the majority opinion. It didn't mean it was the truth though, as not everyone's opinion was involved in that majority thing.
"I'd be more than happy to, though you'll have to tell me how to get in touch with you so I can." He spoke, speaking about showing her his art. "As for the student part...I'm afraid I spend most of my time in an art class room. Not to say I don't attend my other classes, or that I slack off, but I don't do anything like this in them." He spoke, motioning between himself and her.
"I've never had such a conversation. You do something...a professor perhaps?" A university teacher.

"I do something." she laughed. "I'm a drama teacher at the Crystal Academy."
She smiled warmly at him, taking a sip of her drink as the crowd began to disperse. They'd had their talk and made their points and perhaps inspired others to have talks of their own and really consider this crap hanging on the walls instead of mindlessly throwing meaning at it and calling it good. Good was something she was very cautious with and didn't hand out that compliment in art very easily.
She'd been the same way as he was in school. Before she dropped out, that is. She'd attended the classes she liked and often put in extra time in the theatre or in other art classes. She'd always gotten good grades in the others but it wasn't her passion to be in math class or to study human anatomy. It was her passion to dance and sing and act along with others who shared the same passion. She understood everything he said in that regard. They were very similar.
"I can understand that. I don't imagine you tolerate less than the best in yourself." Pure inference on her part. "Still, if you'd like to find me the Crystal Academy drama room or auditorium would be the place to look. I'm there most afternoons until five or so. All the drama productions are welcome to children from every school in the area, if you're interested. We're putting on a show of the Arthurian Legends. Camelot and such."
Kyndall always encouraged critical thinking and reasoning. It sharpened the mind and allowed people to read others. She was already pretty good at this with her penchant for observation and her way with words. She liked instilling that ability in people that might use it well. Of course, in the hands of a member of the Negaverse, reading people might be a bad thing but she honestly didn't know what she was doing.

Indeed, perhaps people would rethink the art hanging on these walls. It would be nice if they did that, and formed their own opinion on what art should be. He didn't hold much hope for it though, but it would be nice to see a little change with people.
Ahh, so she was a teacher. And a drama teach no less. It made sense that she have an opinion on art, though he figured her opinions on plays and actors/actresses would be filled with more knowledge; first hand and other wise, than her knowledge with paintings. "Perhaps I'll drop by every now and again, though I must inform you that I'm not the sort to act. The only time I was on a stage was this summer when a friend of mine dragged me up to read a few lines with her." Gently, he still couldn't believe Gently was also his General, and that she had gotten him up onto a stage with her.
He hadn't minded in all honesty, though he had been self conscious at the time. It had gone better than he'd thought it would. For a moment he could see Kyndall and Gently getting along well. But he wouldn't be setting them up to meet and become friends, he had a lot on his plate as it was.
"I believe we should be parting ways, until next time." When he either showed up at Crystal Academy or when they met at some event again. "Would it be ok to exchange numbers? So if I do show up I can let you know in advance?"

"Oh, I think you probably have some talent in there hiding. Once a child of the arts always a child of the arts."
She winked at him, playing up her grin. She was certainly teasing him now but jovially. She had a feeling he could be quite good on stage if he tried it. Or maybe she just wanted more kids to try their hand at talent. The drama club could always be bigger and with the new production going on there would be parts to be had all the way around. She reminded herself to call Tony and talk to him about meeting to go over the script now that she'd revised it. At his suggestion she shrugged.
"Sure."
She lifted her bag and started rummaging, reaching into her purse and pulling out a business card. It had the number of the school, her cell, and her email address so he wouldn't have any trouble tracking her down if he actually wanted to. Either way she was sure they'd see eachother again. He was a terribly smart kid and she was impressed in the short time she'd spent with him. But, as she observed before, things were winding down. He was right, it was time to go home to Harmony and her collection of books. From there she could read herself into a stupor and sleep deeply.
"Well, it was a pleasure to meet you, Alexandre. I hope you're around again when I'm stuck at one of these functions."

Laughing he smiled, a genuine smile, at her comment. That was true, he couldn't see someone involved in the arts ever truly leaving the arts. It just didn't seem possible. So perhaps she was right? A child of the arts was a child of all the arts, to one point or another. "Perhaps, though whatever talent I may have would need uncovering and work I'm sure."
Watching her rummage through her bag he tilted his head. What was she looking for..oh! She had a business card, not something he'd expect. Taking the card he glanced it over, all the information he'd need. Slipping it into an inside suit pocket, he didn't want to have it vanish on him between here and home.
"The pleasure was mine. I believe we will meet again soon enough. It was a...more interesting night than I'd expected, thanks to you." He'd be seeing her soon enough, he'd seek her out soon.
"Have a good evening and a safe journey home."
