HugBell would probably really like Dahlia, Hygiea figured as the cat seemed to agree and express her opinions on the smaller senshi. "I know, right? And it's not like a lot of them are that much older than us!" She really couldn't fathom a guess, but based on how old the other Asteroids were compared to her it wasn't a huge gap. "And its tough for a lot of us younger kids to get out at night," the orange senshi went on to explain in a serious tone, "so they should give us some slack, we're trying after all and doing our job!"
It was nice to hear someone who understood, even though she herself probably wasn't as much as an activist as HugBell might be; not that her friend was all preachy about it but she did have a lot to say about it when the topic came about.
With the cat's next question, though, Hygiea's shoulders slumped a little as the duo turned a corner to yet another empty and barren street. One of the lamp lights flickered a little bit as they passed under it but Hygiea paid no mind, it had been doing that on a few of her other patrols now.
"My power is kind of lame though," she sighed. It was something the older kids probably would give her gruff about, her power was a little weak compared to most, "it doesn't even attack things which I think it would be cool to do. My herbs heal stuff, and not really big stuff either."
"I asked ********* if I could switch, but she said no." Hygiea's smile twitched into a frown for a moment before settling into a more neutral sort of half smile.

"True" She offered thoughtfully. The age gap wasn't large, but there was one obstacle that stood in the way and in which she could sort of understand causing hesitance. Even if there was only one or two years difference between two senshi... if one had been through puberty and the other hadn't.. The one that had climbed the hormonal hill had the advantage physically. In most cases they'd be taller, stronger, and have more muscle mass to guard against injury. Nonetheless.. it did not make the younger senshi useless or unimportant. There was always a job to be done, even if that job wasn't the normal physical brawling.
The flicker of lights drew her eyes up cautiously for a moment, looking for something to be the cause, her attention turning to search for power signals. But in the end it was just the two and she relaxed once more.
She couldn't help but laugh in soft amusement at the admission of asking to switch. How many senshi, tiny or not had probably wanted to change throughout the years and centuries?
The power offered however.. was certainly not the worst she'd ever heard. "Healing is a wonderful sphere. It would be nice if everyone had an offensive attack, but of all the possibilities healing is a very useful one." Really... were this little senshi in the Negaverse, Dahlia could imagine her being extremely popular. She'd never even have to fight another battle in her life, simply sit upon the back lines and heal her allies when the time came. It certainly would be a nice break for Mica, the negaverse's resident doctor from what she'd heard.
"It's a little strange how thankless people are of healing powers. They're ridiculously happy when they're being healed... but the moment they don't need it personally it often gets over looked. Don't let that discourage you though sweetie. I'm sure you have great things in store for you the more your power grows."

It was nice to hear the reassurance that her power was actually useful even though Hygiea was rather reluctant to agree. "I feel useless in fights though, 'cause there isn't much I can do besides throw rocks an' stuff or sit there and wait." Sailor Hygiea was not an idle girl, as anyone who had met her in and out of senshi uniform would come to know. True, she had a cat plush to throw but that got her only one good hit before she was reduced back to support or having to find something on the ground.
"You think it'll get stronger though?" She asked Dahlia hopefully, "Some of the others mentioned something like that too, and that sensing youma and stuff would get easier. I don't really know a lot about some of this stuff, information really only comes when... well, it comes." It wasn't like they had a manual or a download, which was annoying. How was she supposed to get stronger when she totally didn't know how besides fighting .... which she was a little handicapped with.
Hygiea lead the pair around another corner. This one was just as boring and uneventful as the last few blocks they had been on; still devoid of anything interesting aside from a stray cat that immediately caught the little girls attention. But just as she let out a happy squeal of a noise, it had vanished into an alley. The orange senshi had sped up a little in hopes of seeing where it had gone, but the shadows of the inclosed street had made it impossible to see.
So she kept going.

"Some senshi I believe take classes that make them better fighters without their magic. I do not know if those same classes would be open to younger students however" She responded mildly, the words slow and thoughtful. Children could take self defense classes, couldn't they? That sort of thing certainly couldn't hurt.a
"Oh of course. Everyone who tries gets stronger. Their strength and experience.. strategy.. and of course their powers too. It takes patience and effort but when the time comes it will be worth it."
It wouldn't be long before they'd looped all the way back to where they'd started. Dahlia knew the area vaguely, as so she knew that soon enough the younger senshi would arrive once more to the park and the two would have to part ways.
Dahlia tensed a little as she was jostled out of her thoughts when her ride suddenly squealed and pitched forward, paws quickly pressing against the girl for stability, having to try very hard to not let her claws slip too far past the girl's clothing and into her skin. Once she realized what had happened and why though, she couldn't help but scoff a little with nervous laughter, trying to sooth the line of stranding fur on her back. "You are quite a fan of cats I see?"

It had taken a moment for Hygiea's focus to reattach itself to the cat from the alley to the cat riding on her shoulders. That and her momentum of travel down the last block before getting back to the playground.
Dahlia had answered her question before she even got to ask it, though Sailor Hygiea didn't mind in the least. She still had a strong smile on her face as she made a small noise indicating she didn't know either, "I don't think they offer them but I think my parents would be asking a lot of questions why I was taking them, not like I can in secret and all," she giggled, "my teammates are giving some lessons on fighting though. It helps some, when we get the sessions in," the little girl shrugged, "most of what I know comes from having two older brothers." It wasn't much, it wasn't very focused or trained, but it was at least something. Her enjoyment of fighting didn't hurt either.
"And cats are awesome!" Hygiea exclaimed, a warm feeling nearly vibrating from her being from such a little statement. The corrupted cat had really no idea how much she wanted to lull her head to the side and snuggle against Dahlia's fur just then. "And when I found out there were talking cats," it was hard for her to think of other words really, "so much more awesome." Conversations with her favorite animal? Totally a dream come true.
By then, with the last corner of the blocks completed in turn, a few of the buildings began to fade into foliage to indicate that the park was drawing nearer. It was nice how practically square and short this route was; probably not that good for the serious in patrolling, but for someone as young as Chibi Hygiea, it was probably the best routes to send her on.

"There is always a way as long as you try hard enough to find it." She mused allowed, thoughtfully, in truth she was speaking more to herself than anything.. but the thoughts were shared aloud. "It wouldn't be that hard to convince parents that you were taking a special class just for safety. In a town as dangerous as this one I'd actually be surprised if there isn't a class of some sort. To teach children how to run away from all the scary people and monsters running around. And to show them little tips like stomping feet and kicking knees to escape trouble if they should get into any."
"But anyway." Her drawn out thought was punctuated with the final statement, seeming to brush it away in the end. "It seems that you aren't in need of those anyway. You seem to already have the tools at your disposal."
Dahlia was far more enthralled with the words to come anyway. Such enthusiasm for her kind was excellent, and seeing the little one so very excited about it. Well.. how could Dahlia deny her such a pleasure? Hygiea obviously had very good tastes.
"It's very nice to see someone so appreciative of us Mauvians" She mused with a purr, leaning her own fuzzy forehead into the cheek of the young senshi. "We will definately have to patrol again some time."

Hygiea gave Dahlia's suggestion a little thought before answering her, and well her compliment too. It really was getting better and better for her ego to hear the cat praise her like this. "Really?" She beamed, "thanks! I'll try running the idea past my mom though, I mean it makes sense and stuff with the city not being as awesomly safe as it used to. Even before I became a senshi I kind of heard about all the weird stuff and all." And well, with her mother and her reaction when the little senshi first encountered her after her first henshin was an example enough of how her mother felt about this whole thing. Yeah, the idea was seeming like it was getting better and better.
"Mauvians?" Hygiea asked with a giggle as the fluffy cat purred affectionately against her. The name sounded a little familiar - probably from ********* - but at the same time it didn't, "is that what you guys are called?" She asked as she brought up a hand to scratch the guardian cat behind her ear.
"And I'd love to! Maybe we can meet here another day!"

"Yes.." She laughed a little, both in surprise and amusement that the girl didn't know. Perhaps the white moon cats were not as proud of their heritage to announce it? Well Dahlia certainly was! They weren't mere cats, no.. like the creme da la creme. "All the guardian cats that can speak with you are mauvians. Our ancestors came from a different planet just like yours did."
Leaning into the scratching another set of loud rumbling purr escaped her, and she lingered a little while in happy bliss before finally responding. "It's a date then!" No one could stop her from meeting the little girl again. It took a real expert to know all the right places, and despite her age Hygiea seemed experienced beyond her years in the art of kitty pleasing.
"I really should go and check in. But you said you patrol around here, right? So I'll come and find you again sometime soon."

Sailor Chibi Hygiea smiled at Dahlia's proud declaration of her ancestral name, "it sounds really pretty!" She giggled as she scratched the gave the cats scratch on the head. "So you guys are from other planets as us? I heard the Negaverse people call us aliens like it was a bad thing, but I can't see how its bad and stuff," she rambled on, "Superman is an alien and he's awesome and stuff!" Granted he was a comic book hero but, he was still an alien.
But it wasn't like that thought could damper her opinions, not when she now had a definite in meeting Dahlia again. Well, that was if they could find each other again in this little meeting spot. "Yay!" She squealed, throwing her hands up in excitement. "I only patrol a few days a week, so hopefully we can find each other." The little girl explained.
"I should also be getting home too before my mom starts sending me angry text messages and stuff." They had had a good adventure after all, and it was time to call it a night.

"I don't think it's bad either" She agreed, almost confided in the young senshi. She had heard similiar things here and there on occassion, and while it brought her a small amount of irritation and trepidation.. it was something she wrote off as being 'just a few idiots'.
The cat couldn't help but laugh a little when Hygiea mentioned the comic book hero.
One last, cold nose 'kiss' to the child's cheek, and Dahlia took a grand leap off her shoulder perch, landing on the ground in front of her as she said her goodbyes. "I'm a good hunter, I'll keep my eyes out and find you again one of these days."
Circling once in a tiny oval on the ground, she paused to offer one last nod and statement, before darting off into the night. "Be a good girl Sailor Chibi Hygiea. It's been a pleasure meeting you. I'll see you soon."

Awesome! It probably wasn't surprising that the cat who claimed to be from another planet seemed to agree that being from a different planet wasn't such a bad thing. Probably one of the most obvious responses on the matter. Hygiea was still pleased and giggled as Dahlia's old nose touched her cheek in a sort of kiss.
It was sad to see the warmth from her shoulders go, and the weight of having a cat now leave but Dahlia's promise to find her again on another night didn't damper her mood. "I'll be good!" She told the cat, she'd make sure of it.. especially having ********* guide her, "I'll see you soon too! Have a good night and be safe!" The orange haired girl offered in goodbyes as she finally pulled herself away and towards home.
