After he got home Kaede pop his pill in his mouth and swallowed it then put his groceries away,the pill left a bad after taste so he grab a bottle of water from the fridge and took a few drinks."The weather is nice today...I guess going outside for a while won't kill me" he mumbled while leaving his house again and went to the park it was the only place he liked to go the this town.

Matthew sighed faintly, he rubbed his side were his Mark was. "Yeah... But It's annoying sometimes." He said before grabbing a buggy, he was going to need It.

Dante walked Into the park with Tsuki, he got a few strange looks from people but he didn't care. "Shoulden't Taiyou be back with the girl by now?" He asked his friend.
Lucy smiled. "Your welcome~" She said before titling her head a bit. "Are you sure your alright? Your face Is really red. Maybe you should sit In the shade for a while."

Nuime sighed but shrugged, letting the subject drop for now. Besides, they had shopping to do.

Tsuki glanced around the park and spotted Taiyou. "There he is... Which means..." She followed his gaze to Lucy, surprised to see Jakob there. "What the h**l?..."
Jakob blinked slowly a few times at her before nodding slightly. "O-ok... U-um... M-my na-ame's J-jakob, by the w-way..." he said softly, getting to his feet. He kept his head lowered a bit as he walked over to the nearest tree, sitting down quickly.

Kaede sat down on a near by bench and placed his bottle of water by his feet,Kaede came to the park every once in while it reminded him of when his mother use to bring him here on her days off from work when he was little.

Matthew talked to Nuime about random things while they shopped.

Dante was a bit surprised as well. "Why Is he with that human?" He asked as he crossed his arms. "Their enemy's, not friends."
Lucy followed him, she sat down beside him and leaned back against the tree. She glanced up at the sky. "Pretty Isn't It? It's as blue as the sea, the clouds look like waves sometimes, they role by so freely." She said before giggling with a light blush. "I'm sorry, I like the sea a lot."

Tsuki shrugged, gritting her teeth at Jakob.
Jakob looked up at the sky as well, but he couldn't help a small laugh at Lucy's blush and giggle. "I-it's alright. I-i like the sea too..." He looked down from the sky, looking around the park in thought. He kept a grin on his face since Lucy was sitting next to him, but he stiffened when he saw Tsuki and Dante. He glanced around a bit more to spot Taiyou sitting on a bench nearby. Jakob gritted his teeth at them, mouthing "Touch her, I'll kill you" to them.
Tsuki smirked and rolled her eyes at Jakob, but she merely trotted off. "You can have your fun with that human girl. That's Lucy, so do what you want. I find more interest in the Marked Female," she said to Dante before joining up with Taiyou. They talked quietly for a moment before leaving the park.

Dante grinned darkly, he disappeared and reappeared Infront of Lucy and Jakob. Without a word, he grabbed Lucy and jumped back. With her under one arm, he used his other to throw fire balls at Jakob. Lu-lu wasn't sure what was going on, when she saw that Dante could use fire she became confused. "A-are you a Marked or a demon?" She asked as fear gleamed In her eyes.
Dante glanced down at her and grinned again, he didn't answer her though since the fear showed In her face now, she knew what he was. Which caused her to struggle to get away from him. "Jakob! Help!" She cried as a tear ran down her face.

Jakob darted away from the tree just in time to see it burst into flames. He growled deeply at Dante, snarling almost. "You f**king b*****d! She's just a human, and now you've crossed the line!" He darted in towards Dante. In a flash, he disappeared and reappeared behind the other Demon. He aimed a fist at Dante's shoulder (the arm he was holding Lucy with). He made contact and though it seemed like one blow, there was a two-hit echo, and the power was nearly doubled.

Dante winched when Jakob hit his shoulder, It hurt like crazy but he refused to let go of Lucy. He turned quickly and round house kicked the other demon In his stomuch, he then reared his arm back and punched Jakob across his face.
"Lemme go! Lemme go!" Lucy fussed as she began beating Dante's side which didn't seem to affect him. "Brother! Sister!" She screamed to the top of her lungs which caused the demon holding her to let go, he placed both hands over his ears and winched. Lu-lu dropped to the ground, she was still scared of Dante so she ran and hit behind Jakob.

Matthew had finished shopping with Nuime, he was leading her to the car when he suddenly paused. His Mark began to feel funny again so he placed a hand on his shirt, just below his left ribs.

Jakob coughed at the kick in the stomach, stumbling backwards at the punch. Still, when Lucy hid behind him, he knew now he could continue without hitting her by accident. With a ferocious growl, he aimed a series of kicks and punches to Dante's stomach and chest. The double-hit technique echoed a second hit in each blow, and even if he missed, a pulse of power shot like a soundwave passed him. Unfortunately it destroyed part of the park here and there, but Jakob was in full rampage right now. His only goal: to make Dante pay.

Nuime paused with Matthew, glancing over at him. Her body felt strange, since her mark covered her entire body. "You have... the same feeling?..." she asked softly, almost worried.

Dante gritted his teeth and cried In pain. Althought his body hurt, he growled at the other demon. "You'll regret this." He hissed before disappearing.
Lucy backed away from Jakob, she wasn't sure If he was a Marked or a Demon. "J-jakob?" She said with a shakie voice.

Jakob snarled even after Dante left. Now it wasn't exactly anger at the other demon, but at himself. He heard the fear in Lucy's voice, knowing she was afraid of him. He gritted his teeth and slammed a fist into the ground, creating a large crater. "This always happens to me!... Why does everything have to go wrong!... E-everything... Everyone..." A few tears ran down his face as he collapsed to his knees. "Wh-hy... w-why do I-i have to be a Demon?... Why does the world have to hate me... Why can't... I ever... do anything right?..."

Nuime thought for a moment before hopping into the truck quickly, making sure everything in the back was tied down first of course. "Let's check on Lucy..."

Lucy felt sad, she didn't mean to sound scared of him, she was just freaked out. It's not everyday you get attacked by a demon or get caught In the middle of a fight between two demons. She hurried over to Jakob, she knelt down In front of him and wrapped her arms around him. "Don't talk like that!, The world may hate you but I don't! You risked your life to save me Jakob, your the best friend I've ever had!" Lucy said as she tightened her hug a bit, but not to hard. "Thank you my friend."

Matthew nodded and get In the car, he started It and drove away from the mall. He was a bit of a hurry so he was going 5 miles over the speed limit.

Jakob stiffened at the hug, looking up slightly to see it was Lucy still. His face turned slightly red again and he hesitated, then quickly wrapped his arms around her in return, a few tears still running down his face. "I-i'm sorry for sc-caring you... A-are... Are yo-ou really su-ure you want to be f-friends with a D-demon?..." he asked softly. "I m-mean... I-i've done a lot of st-tuff that I'm not too proud of now..."

Nuime kept one hand on the door handle of the truck, staring out the window. She was pretty much ready to jump out at any moment, and she almost did as they passed the park. "Th-here! Lucy's in there! I think I see Amy and her mom near their car."

Tsuki and Taiyou were wandering the streets again. They saw Matthew's truck drive by with him and Nuime inside, heading towards the park. With a small sigh, they turned around and headed back towards the park. Of course, Tsuki had a grin on her face. "Looks like Dante screwed up..."
