"Long and lean.." Muka giggled a bit. "Like me!" He extended his tucked arms carefully as he grabbed the ingredients. He didn't want his talons to knock anything over or pop a hole into anything dangerous. The bat was giving him a strange look.

The strix tilted his head as he set up his brewing materials and then dumped each ingredient in with a bit of a careless fashion. It never specified an order or time so he figured the faster he got this done the better! Things like brewing never interested him but hanging out with the bat minipet seemed like as good a time as any. Others were trying so he had to try too!

As soon as he'd dumped the donkey tears there was an explosion of purple smoke and a slime started to ooze out over the edges.

Was that right?

"Hee.. for you!" Muka didn't serve it to the mini, he instead just pointed at the bubbling, sliming, smoking concoction and offered a smile.

Dust shifted. It parted as the shoggoth slithered through the cracks of the floor. Veils of cobwebs opened and folded onto itself as his very presence pushed the stale air outwards. The youngling rummaged carefully around, scanning the boxes as he slid over and around them, shaking them a little to check their contents.
He found something akin to a physician’s bag. It was leather, had several pockets on the outside and had a brass plate studded in the center, etched with the words, “My Little Potions.” It was heavy, and it tinkled and jangled when shook.
The shoggoth slowly took on a humanoid form as he reached inside the bag for the first things he could find; a bag that read Ugly Sauce, and an unusually shaped bottle which read Crab battle. He had little knowledge of potions, but this seeming like it’s a kit of children thought that mixing things up was probably safe.
He found a graduated cylinder, and poured the contents of the two ingredients at equal parts. He filled the cylinder half way, and watched as some kind of solid precipitate began to fall down at the bottom. It bubbled, and it grew warm for a few seconds, and cooled down within seconds. The remaining liquid was clear while the sediment had a sea green color.
“Cheers,” he whispered as he lifted the cylinder to what could be his mouth and drank it all.
Then he waited. The liquid and the precipitate were visible through his semi-transparent skin. For a second, it seemed like he began to liquefy. He lost control of his body and lost its form, but only for a second.
He shivered. It felt odd, losing control of his body. He thought there would be something more, but perhaps it doesn’t affect shoggoths as much as the other species. He cringed a few more times as he bag packing the ingredients and cylinder back into the bag.
Just in time, as he heard the flapping of leathery wings. The shoggoth slowly let the bag drop back into where he found it as he slithered back through of the cracks of the floor.

A Long and Lean potion sound so interesting to Aria, who loved make potions of any kind and this look simple to make, so stood on a small stool to reach her cupboard and she grabbed 2 containers of Mastodon Tears and 1 vial of Donkey Love from the cupboard. She walk over to the her table where she normal makes her potions, she took out a small bowl and she started to mixing the two ingredents together. As she started to mix the two together, she saw a mixture of pastel colours and a sweet smell of flowers started to spread in the room. She looked at the small bowl and it looked ready to try. She poured the potion into a small glass for a small test to see if it work. She took a little sip, to her surprise it even tasted a bit if salty and sweet. Magically the portion start to work a little as she grew taller and leaner. She felt a bit strange so she walk over to her stand mirror and she notice the change and had a great big smile on her face.

"Hmmm..." a thoughtful sound, slightly stormy, as the high-spirited Asiatic student mentally kicked herself for tripping over the My Little Potions Kit with her shining eyes still glued to Figaro. She fidgeted carelessly with the instructions, then heedless, poured out Ugly Sauce and Crab Battle onto the ground. The mixture frothed and hissed, turning colors barely caught out of her peripheral vision, spitting and sparking and enveloped her swiftly, forcing her face to contort painfully before dissipating.

Levi wasn't the best when it came to following instructions. Sure- books and the newly required and easily forgotten knowledge was an intrigue of hers, but when it came to following guidelines of a sort, the tatzel ghoul would find herself troubled. It wasn't that she couldn't so much as she got ideas.

Now why'd they do that? This looks like it could be done another way. What if I-

She just tended to derail from the linear path of instructions. When Figaro was spotted, she thought nothing of trying to mix things together to make something else! Obviously, this ghoul should never join the potions class. The bat seemed to be a smart critter; how'd it know about mixing potions? She'd need to see if her lepus, Read, was capable of such things. Looking over the recipes, Levi simply chose one at random and then began the mixing process. It did tell her what she need for the creation of a potion, but she neglected to read exactly what was to go where and how much of it. Instructions. The Mastodon Tears were first ( this one had been labeled as such) and to that she added Crab Battle. Nothing yet. Maybe she needed more Crab Battle? It WAS Crab Battle in this bottle, right? Turning it, the claw was surely a dead giveaway so- another round of Crab Battle! It was a generous dose and that seemed to do the trick.

She thought.

Whatever this potion was meant to do, it suddenly solidified into a gelatinous goop. Testing it's new form, Levi picked up the cauldron by the mouth and shook it gently just to get an idea of just how wriggly it was. The goop was indeed slimy and solid, but the jiggling cause it to clump together in varied balls of goop now joined together. Was this correct?

Picking up the Recipe, she then noticed the title. Slime Nugget.

Alrighty then. Now it was nuggets.
