"You... need caffeine?" he questioned "But, as a doctor, surely you know that there are better things than caffeine such as... well, apples, for example?"

Flo blinked at this statement. It was true, she knew caffeine was terribly unhealthy, but somewhere down the road she'd come to care less and less about its side effects; it was a habit she picked up when she was still a researcher and there were some nights she simply couldn't afford to sleep, and... well, the vending machine didn't sell apples.

"Yes I do know, but I'm too far gone to switch to apples now," she said with a small laugh.

She hmm-ed and nodded at his statements. It was a fair assessment; not everyone in the school had met the aliens but some were already judging them before they'd had a chance to meet them. Some people could be so judgemental when it came to things of a foreign nature.

The woman tapped her chin thoughtfully when her own question was redirected back to her. "No... I haven't actually met them, but they don't look hostile..."

For about two seconds, she simply gazed at Damien, half lost in her own musings as to how the aliens would react to cats. She was starting to form contingency plans unti the tanner man's face swam back into focus.

Oh right. Lesson planning.

Flo hurriedly straightened up with a nervous cough. Strange, why on earth was she spacing out so much today? It was something she only did when she was alone with her cats, or feeling particularly relaxed. Right now was neither of these situations, supposedly...

"Right uh, let's get started then. If you could, ah, remove your shirt..." she said distractedly while rifling through a pile of a papers. She pulled out one with a printout of the muscular system and various pen scribbles all over it. One bolded line said LESSON OBJECTIVE: Teach kids which muscles to train, and which ones to target to disarm in case of attack, followed by a series of angry question marks. All around the system were names of bunches of muscles, some with underlines; biceps, triceps, pectorals, deltoids, and several other complicated names around the leg and throat area she had yet to study. On the back of the same paper was a printout of feline anatomy with equally many scribbles.

... so it wasn't exactly the typical gradeschool anatomy lesson she was supposed to give, but she'd found these interesting tidbits while researching and thought it'd be more useful for heroes-in-training rather than simply pointing out body parts... right?

((sorry I really have ZERO CLUE how to go about anatomy lesson planning plus it makes for a really boring rp if all she's going to do is poke him in the ribs LMAO... I hope its okay if I go off topic a little?! I thought the disarming one would be kinda funny but would it be stepping into Damien's area of teaching? I know he's supposed to be the close combat dude sooo, idk I could take it out or keep it to a minimum if its weird and keep it to just prodding him in man and cat form o 3o

oh wait I should crosspost this to your plot thread too yes...))
