Erik shrugged. "Thats how we got here, but theres no reason thats how we're going to get back." He lowered his voice some. "Let me put it this way. We're in a strange place, with strange creatures coming and attacking us. It's very convinient that there happened to also be these people here that seem to have some control over the goings on. They can come too and fro, and have all sorts of knowledge pertaining to this world. They can turn into animals, though not the ones we were attacked by so far as I can see, and have magical powers." He shot another look around to make sure none of the power types were watching. "And I feel like if they were going to come up with something, that would have already happend. There's no indication theyve told the authorities back home of whats happened, or done anything else then run errands for us" He bit his lip. "Now I'm not saying not to trust them. I'm just saying that theyre a little, eh, convieniant. We might be on our own here."

"No!"
She was very opposed to that idea. The idea that the senshi, especially someone like Camelot, could be using them for a purpose was just inconceivable in her mind. Yeah, it was an amazing coincidence that they happened to be somewhere the senshi and knights could come in and out of but they saved their lives. Camelot saved her life. If not for him her ribs would still be poking out of her side. She couldn't believe they'd want to hurt them. She believed Camelot when he said he wanted to see her reunited with her mom.
"I know your mother." That's what he'd said. He promised to reach her on Harm's behalf.
"I think you're wrong." she responded softly, crossing her arms over her chest. "There's nothing to indicate they have any control over us being here at all. They seemed surprised we showed up and they opened their homes to us. I won't believe they're not doing their best to get us home. What can they have to gain by keeping us here?"

Eric shook his head. "None of this makes sense. I dont have what I'd need to piece together possible... intentions. But just remember, they opened their homes to us, but that was only because we were here. We went from being on earth to being in a realm in which no one abides but these people and space whales. These people have the power to go to and from earth and here, and someone with that power or something similar must have been what brought us here from earth." He sighed, his shoulders slouching. "I'm not saying to call the cavalry, but I cant even figure another working hypothesis. These are the only people Ive run into so far who could have done it. Now, Im trying to gain more data, but its been slow going, These people wont even tell me hardly anything, I've tried twisting a few arms and Ive gotten the same bull each time. Maybe some of them are in on it and some of them arent. Maybe theres another group that they don't know about either thats behind this. In all honesty, they don't actually seem to know that much about this place anyway, its possible they know a lot less then theyre making it seem they do. Still, be carful. I dont want to see a pretty lass like you get hurt."

"Erik, you don't know why we're here. They've done nothing but help us. Maybe they were just as surprised by us being here as we are."
She didn't want to fight about it. Her side was aching already with the stress. She held a hand to her side and closed her eyes, hissing in a breath. He made a certain sort of sense and maybe she had stars in her eyes as far as Camelot was concerned but she wasn’t ready to believe these senshi meant them harm. She believed they were protecting them.
She thought about what he said, though, about another hypothesis. He was right. Someone with power had to bring him here but if the heroes existed it made sense to believe villains existed, too. Maybe it was the villains that did it for some reason, not expecting them to end up here with the heroes. Or, maybe she was wrong and they were all going to die.
No, definitely not.
“If these heroes exist they must fight against something and it probably isn’t crime. Stuff like this happens a lot in Destiny City, haven’t you noticed? It was probably the villains that brought us here.”
She blushed when he called her pretty. Really, she looked like her mother. She looked away and gave a sharp breath again, wincing in pain. She shouldn't have tried so much so soon. Camelot would be not pleased with her if he knew. There would possibly be an "I told you so."
If she were in a better state of mind she might have thought Erik was flirting with her.

Eric shrugged. "Anything is possible, it could also be that some of these people are genuinly trying to help us while others have alternative motives. Im just asking you to keep your guard up until we get out of here." He patted his guitar gently, thinking to himself. "And see what you can find out about their powers. Every time I try talking to one of them, theyre tight lipped and secretive, which doesnt help me trust them. Maybe I'm not talking to the right ones. Either way, all I'm really interested in doing is getting out of here." He smiled at her. "And we will be getting out of here."

"Yeah. I know."
She was starting to believe it. And the pain was starting to get to her in a big way. She was certainly trying too hard, pushing her body to its limits instead of resting. She grimaced and reclined back onto the slight cushion of her bed. If they got in they had to be able to get out. Wonderland had to have a rabbit hole somewhere and she knew it could be found. If not by her then by someone else. A senshi, perhaps. She needed to rest.
“My side is hurting me.” She told him quietly. “I think I need to rest. Come back and see me again if you learn anything.”

He nodded
"I certainly will."
He stood up, smiling and giving her a small bow.
"I hope to bring you some good news soon. Have a good rest."
And with a small wave, he turned and left.
All right, enough sight seeing Eric.
He thought to himself.
Lets get out of here.
