Camelot looked down at the bucking youma, debating. He was long and had strength in his arms. In fact, he had been gaining more muscle, becoming leaner and more well defined physically due to his patrolling and fighting most nights. He was more confident in his own strength, then, and his abilities.

"Yes, I can hold it," he decided.

he wouldn't risk someone unnecessarily. He was bound to his words now, and with everything he had in him he would make sure the damn youma stayed down as long as it needed to. He could try beating it to death with his shield, but that was the least convenient option available.

Mostly because Camelot couldn't pull his arms away.

He held on to the thing as Boreas punched it. It resulted in claws sinking and catching in Camelot's armor. Chain mail was useful, for more than one thing, it seemed.

Hearing a snap, Camelot, still struggling with the youma as it flailed and tried to defend it's knee, looked at Boreas. "Use your attack!" It wasn't an order so much as a heartfelt suggestion.

Though the senshi of winter had stopped his assault on the youma's leg, that didn't mean he was simply going to the leave the creature alone as he prepared his next magical attack. In an effort to keep the youma from retaliating, Boreas held the monster down with one arm and kept the rest of his weight on the youma's broken leg as he used his remaining arm to prepare his next Tundra Torrent. As he reared his arm back, Boreas made sure to keep an eye on Camelot after he noticed the youma had tried to claw into him.

"Tundra Torrent!"

A large, chilled spiral of air instantly formed in the palm of Boreas' free hand and this time, he didn't let go as he kept a firm grasp on the surge of frozen air. Flashes of blue and silver swept down through the air as the attack landed right in the creature's face. Boreas fell forward as the attack completely destroyed the monstrosity the two men were holding down. All that remained was a pile of dust where the mangled youma once lay. Rising to feet, Boreas offered the Knight a hand and inspected him once more to make sure the creature's claws hadn't caused any permanent damage.

"Are you alright? It looked like that youma got a few good hits in with its claws."

Camelot smiled, nodding his head. He coughed and pushed himself up from the floor where he had been unceremoniously spilled when the youma turned into dust under his hold. he had been pushing down on it, bracing against it, and with it quite suddenly gone it was like someone had let go of their end of the tug of war.

Still, he much preferred that to it still being around.

Dusting himself off, he accepted the offer hand of help and got to his feet. He looked himself over, patting his armor and shaking his head.

"Chain mail. I believe I've escaped any serious injuries. Are you hurt at all?"

He hadn't been able to follow things too closely, so if the youma had gotten a good swipe in at Boreas Camelot was sure he could have missed it, and needed to ask at least.

"That was a very good attack. Sometimes I envy senshi magic," he laughed, patting his shield almost subconsciously, as if in apology.

As the senshi of winter helped Camelot to his feet, he couldn't help, but to recognize the older gentlemen for something other than his battle prowess. Boldly, Boreas kept his eyes fixed on Camelot and made sure that he didn't break eye contact as the older gentlemen spoke. Unlike before, Boreas didn't check him out blatantly, but he did make sure to keep eye contact and remain relatively close as they spoke. Not as a means of instigation, but simply because Boreas preferred to remain close to other men, regardless of any sort of interest. In fact, the only time Boreas did manage to take his eyes off the older gentlemen was when he looked to examine the Knight's armor.

"Ha ha, chain mail, huh? Finally I see someone with something practical! Aren't you the lucky one, eh?"

Taking a moment to laugh at his own observation, Boreas was a little surprised to see someone with actual armor incorporated into their outfit. Most of the senshi and even Negaverse agents he had met before had only been wearing uniforms of some sort, so it was shocking to see some actual protection incorporated into an outfit. After the laughter stopped and the moment was over, Boreas dusted himself off and made sure that his flimsy outfit hadn't been damaged.

"Hmmm, doesn't look like I took any serious hits. I'll count myself lucky this time. Glad to see we both made it out okay. Even though I've been fighting youma for a while, there always seems to be one that comes along and surprised you somehow. Haha."

After he spoke, the senshi of winter looked around to access the damage that the facility had taken since the thought of collateral damage certainly hadn't crossed his mind during the fight. No holes in the wall or any dead bodies, so Boreas was happy for the moment. He turned his attentions back to Camelot; making sure to looks his shield over before resuming eye contact.

"Well, I'm jealous of that shield. I can't tell you how many times I could've used a blockade of some kind. Kind of of sad now that I think about it. Haha. Though I do love my magic. Odd thing to say out loud, huh? 'I love magic' hehe."

Camelot was not certain why he was being looked at, but he found it hard to look away from the young senshi's determined lock on his eyes. He smiled feebly, nodding his head when a strange moment of tension passed and was broken by Boreas' words.

"I imagine I did get the luck of the draw, as far as my costume is concerned. Armor and chainmail can get a bit heavy, but at least its getting colder out and I'm going to be well protected from the elements as well as from physical blows."

He chuckled, noting silently that Boreas probably wasn't too concerned with the cooling weather, considering.

"Yeah, it seems like it. I haven't been able to fight against them for long, but I've certainly been a target for youma in the past. I've never seen one look the same as any other, so it's hard to develop a sure fire method for defeating them. For the most part... I stick with 'hit them as hard as possible with shield'. Repeated as necessary."

He nodded his head, looking at his shield thoughtfully.

"It's a bit... breakable, but it does its part. I find myself jealous of senshi magic more often than not. Your attack, for example, seems very useful. Maybe moreso than a shield that has a penchant for shattering. I don't find you loving it odd at all. I'm sure I would, too," he laughed, nodding his head. He did often wonder about senshi magic, how varied it was and how useful it could be. He did have an object of magic, his crystal, but he had never used it and so far did not know how to. It didn't occur to him that it did have magic.

His grin widened as the Knight mentioned the coming winter season, as he was certainly more than just anticipating its arrival. Boreas could try and relate the feeling in a number of ways, but the best way to describe Boreas' connection to winter was to simply say he felt as if he were finally home. Not to say he didn't feel comfortable or mostly at ease during the rest of year, but something about the winter season resonated within him. The more Boreas thought about it, the more he realized that the sensation was connected to his past life. Making a mental note to speak to Chronos about the feeling at a later time, the senshi of winter once again fixated his blue eyes on Camelot.

"The best defense is a great offensive, or whatever. Hehe. I personally don't mind getting my hands dirty from time to time, but it doesn't change the fact that those youma play dirty every time and not in the good way either. Those things are just weird to look at and definitely strange to face in battle."

As he spoke, Boreas made sure to break eye contact for a few seconds at a time. Camelot's expression didn't go unnoticed and though Boreas was certainly interested, he didn't want to make the older gentleman too terribly uncomfortable. "Too" being the key word since that didn't stop Boreas from keeping up the charm.

"Oh, you flatter me, haha. I've had some practice and been around the block when it comes to playing rough. Nothing too crazy, but like I said, the Negaverse always finds a way to keep you on your toes. Have you had any trouble with them yet?"

Camelot was always slightly uncomfortable, though he was better at social interactions like this then others. He was powered up, and that made it easier for him, in some way. Being a knight gave him confidence: he knew that he had a place in the world when he was a knight. He was protecting people. He was saving lives. Yes, he was dressed up weird, but he knew the reason and he was proud of it.

When he was simply Tony, he was much more lost for conversation skills and topics. He couldn't explain it, but even before he had become Camelot it had been that way. He was just not good with talking to people beyond the safety of working at the library. Maybe he always needed some position of authority to get over his awkwardness.

That was a little too complicated and personal a topic for him to want to think about at the moment.

"The negaverse? Yes, I've met a few," he rubbed his arm, though it had long since healed, remembering his meeting with Zircon and the resulting trip down the stairs with her. The ones over in the corner, near where they were standing, in fact. The two had almost been fighting, arguing about their beliefs, and both fell down the stairs. Camelot had protected her on the trip down.

He believed that the Negaverse could be cleansed, purified as he heard the word was. They could find peace, somehow. It was Chaos that was the enemy, the corrupting force, not the soldiers themselves.

"I'm hoping to avoid more trouble with them. It's not really my goal to fight them, to make enemies of them. I know they would just as soon rip out my starseed as a youma would, but I believe there has to be a way to end this war without losing more lives. You guys are all so young. I don't know. I think it's a shame, on both sides." He sighed.

Until recently, Boreas hadn't put much thought into the Negaverse beyond the surface label of "enemy". The senshi of winter had only seen horrible things come of their involvement and simply dealing with just one was always a hassle, regardless of their rank. Therefore, he didn't have to go beyond the surface and it was certainly easy for him to demonize them as something other than human, based on their organization's missions and individual's within the organization. However, when Boreas did actually think about the Negaverse, outside the context of a battle with one of their agents, he had realized he didn't want those agents to die, but to simply stop hurting people. Demonizing them had been any easy cop out, but he knew if he was actually going to change things, it would be better to start seeing them as human and not the monsters they were made out to be.

"Seems we agree on that. I can't say I've always felt that way, but I do try to remember they are people, like you and me. In the heat of a battle, that can easily be lost, especially when you witness some of their less than stellar moments."

Though his tone was rather serious, he kept a smile on his face. Admittedly, it was difficult to change one's ideas about a group that only seemed to do wrong, but Boreas felt he needed to change his ideas if he was going to move forward. This didn't mean he was out to be an ambassador or was going to back down from a fight, but that he would have to remember that the agents weren't like their youma that turned to dust, they were people too.

"It's kinda weird when you think about it, really. Haha I mean it seems that the fate of the city has fallen into the hands of a very young age group. Who would have thought, huh? Almost like we asked a kindergarten class to become the Supreme Court. Hahaha"

Camelot nodded his head.

"I certainly understand that. There have been moments when I thought one was going to kill me, and that my... I don't know. I don't like to call it pity, it's not pity. I feel the same way for them that I do for Senshi, outside of battle. I just don't want to see lives being wasted and lost. But there are definitely... members of their ranks... that seem a little beyond reach."

He sighed. He remembered seeing one of them, shockingly powerful and so full of chaos that it had made his legs turn to jelly and his body reduce to a living shiver, killing civilians with no effort at all. But sights like that were easier to remember, sure, but not the majority. He knew there was some hope, somewhere, some hesitance, some resistance, some need for change inside their own ranks. The same kind of feeling he had.

He had to keep looking for those people, to find a way to end the fighting without the very sudden and complete route more killing went down..

"Yes, I think about that all the time. It doesn't really seem fair, how young you guys are, the private lives you no longer get to live because you certainly can't be completely normal. I've seen, and I understand the need to as I might not be as young but I'm certainly in the same kind of situation, uh, senshi forging their own brand of normal with their two lives, but it's not the same."

He sighed.

"But we all managed as best we can, right? In any case, I'd better get back to work. Clean up this mess. Uh. Ahhh... I mean. Patrol. You know. The city.... is a mess." He laughed awkwardly.

Never one to read too deeply into the actions of others, Boreas simply smiled back at the Knight and didn't bother to comment on the strange way in which Camelot spoke to him. Not that he wasn't paying attention or didn't understand, Boreas knew from experience that everyone had two lives to balance and if the man was at work when the youma attack and rushed over to help or if he simply lived nearby, Boreas knew it would only complicate things, not to mention come off very nosy, to inquire about the meaning behind his words.

"I'll let you get back to it then! Thank you for your help, I couldn't have beaten that thing alone! I'll see you around!"

Giving Camelot another smile and wave goodbye, Boreas made his way out the front door and headed back towards the heart of Destiny City. After the encounter, Boreas was in a much better mood after not only defeating a youma, but finding a like-minded individual on his side. Keeping the smile plastered on his face, he powered down and hopped on the subway to do a patrol of the city.
