The sound of a squeaking wheel and clattering metal announced the Hunchback before he could be spotted. The dingy browns of his coat looked black in the moonlight, a darker black hood cut from a sweatshirt pulled up over his head as he pushed the wheelbarrow towards the dragon, scarf wrapped around the rest of his face as he narrowed his eyes at what Jericho had chosen to wear for their outing critically.

Waiting around in the dark, Jericho glanced to the side as he heard a squeaky wheel from somewhere nearby. Turning to see who it was, he saw Christof coming by with a wheelbarrow, looking almost like some sort of haunchback ninja.

For his own apparel, the dragon wore some darker clothing, but it wasn't horribly different from his usual garb. He wasn't really expecting to be standing around in his humanoid form all too much at the junkyard anyway.

Christof snorted at Jericho's atire... but it would do, he supposed. With a huff, he pressed on, his shovel and a tool box clattering in the wheelbarrow as he gestured for the Dragon to follow. It wasn't too far from campus, at least.

He wasn't very good at small talk, especially in the dark.

Seeing the Igor gesture to follow, Jericho nodded and started after him. Jericho wasn't really sure what to expect, but he was trying to keep a relatively sharp eye out for anything that might get in their way. A part of him wondered if they were going to be needing to do multiple runs to the junkyard to get everything they needed. Actually, there was a pretty decent chance they'd have to. In any case, he'd try to lug whatever he could. His true form should come in handy for sure.

He was about to ask Christof how far the place was off.. but then recalled that the guy couldn't really give him much of an answer. So, he kept his mouth shut in the meantime and continued to follow.

The hunchback seemed happy enough to make the trip in silence, he had done it countless times before... and the idea of Jericho's true form being useful in carting back what they'd need certainly seemed appealing- especially if he threw in a few more things he might need as well.

They carried on through the moonlight, down the road, and around a few turns, what would have taken the Dragon just minutes in the air was closer to an hour by the speed an Igor hobbles, and he was panting and winded by the time the smell drifted towards them and the high, barb-wired gates came into view.

Christof grunted, reaching out to take a hold of Jericho's arm before rising a finger to his lips. The hole he had made in the fence long ago was concealed behind a series of twisted, thorned shrubs, but somehow he managed to finagle the wheelbarrow through to the other side.

The walk was a rather long one and the longer they walked, the more antsy Jericho was getting. For one thing, he wished they could move a little more quickly than they were. His wings shifted with anticipation, but finally it seemed they were there after about an hour.

Glancing to the side at Christof, he watched the Igor squeeze through an apparent hidden hole in the fence. Waiting for him to go on through, the dragon soon carefully found his way to the other side. It was a little tricky, and his eyes twitched slightly in discomfort as the thorns scratched against his leathery wings. He might have gotten a little scratched up here and there as a result of it.

Once he was there, he let out a breath and looked around for any signs of movement. There were supposed to be dogs here right?

The hunchback huddled by a hulking pile, peering around and listening to the silence. It was just like a graveyard, really, just a different sort of Parts. He made a motion with two hands as though writing in his palm before tapping it twice and peering through the moonlight at the dragon pointedly. Hopefully he had constructed some sort of general List by now.

It was the growl that brought his attention back to the heaps in the moonlight, where twin eyes spotted them. Without wasting a moment, he grabbed Jericho by the shirt and prepared to bolt at his hobbling speed. Up high! They needed a place to hide their scents! Stupid, stupid! It was probably the dragon sweat, he was sure of it.

As they moved on about, Jericho paused as he heard a low growl from somewhere nearby. Glancing towards the source, he soon noticed that the dogs had apparently spotted them.

"Tiamat's s**t," He cursed lowly before looking around. The junkyard probably didn't have too many good hiding spots from the dogs. So, the dragon tried to get a good grip onto the patchwork and started to beat his wings hard in an attempt to take flight.

"Hang on tight," he growled to Christof. The bulky igor was difficult for him to hold onto, and he was fairly heavy as well, but he was determined to get some lift here.

Christof flailed, eyes wide as he craned his head around to try to look up at the crazy dragon, feet kicking the air as the dogs snarled and snapped at his boots. He motioned quickly from his eyes to the building across the yard, waving frantically before pointing urgently to the other side.

On the plus side, he could get a good vantage point of the labyrinth like hodgepodge of the Parts graveyard, motioning for them to land as carefully as he could. The downside was if Jericho let go... there would be trouble.

Huffing as he had to work harder to gain altitude, Jericho remained focused on getting higher up. It wasn't until he was at a decent height above the junkyard that he allowed himself to start gliding, giving him a moment to relax.

"Don't squirm too much," He muttered inbetween breaths. While he was sure Christof could take a decent fall, he had little doubt that the impact would cause him to literally fall apart. That would cause for a setback they couldn't really afford right about now.

"See anything interesting down there?"

The hunchback groaned. It would not do well if they were SPOTTED out in the moonlight like flying ducks! He wove his hand urgently to an area that the dogs at least would take some time to get to, time they could use to cover their scents and hopefully get some things done.

Seeing Christof's waving, Jericho began to descend towards the ground to where he pointed out. He was trying not to drop too sharply, but it was a little harder to fly with the Igor as a passenger. Before too long, he landed with a light thud. It wasn't the smoothest landing but it certainly wasn't a crash.

Letting out a breath, he stretched his wings before relaxing, letting go of the hunchback in the meantime.

Once on solid ground once more, the hunchback took a sigh of relief, glancing around frantically to see if the coast was, in fact, clear.

Saving a lot of trouble, the powers that be decided now was not the time for dice-roll-checks, ergo the two were able to get a few things done.

He huffed, brushing himself off before glancing around curiously. There were plenty of old, broken down husks of old cars, refrigerators, TVs with broken screens... what exactly where they looking for? He supposed he'd figure that out when they found it, unless the dragon had any useful input. Wasting no time, he practically dove in, throwing useless things away while setting curious, possibly useful items to the side.

Looking around the scrapyard, Jericho tapped his chin as he tried to see if anything would be particularly useful.

"We need platforms.. lots of platforms. And a sort of rigging where we could suspend things if needed... Some stuff could be dug out I guess but others... will have to be built," he muttered while looking around. Grabbing onto something, he pulled it out and looked it over. It was a slightly dented signpost.

"Railings too... we'll need those. Oh and blades. And chains," he rambled on.

Christof nodded, immediately starting to haul the appropriate things into his "keep" pile, an old, bent iron banister, several slightly-broken wooden palets, rusty chains jingling as he tossed them in with the rest.

Blades, huh... blades blades... AH! He hobbled up the pile, climbing with ease amongst the junk to find something glinting in the moonlight amongst the wreckage. He gunted, tugging again, but it was stuck firm.
