"Okay." Xavier said with a nod. He certainly couldn't argue with that, knowing well enough how that felt.
Some of the nights where he'd quickly left, himself, when they'd crossed each other on the tail ends of her latest shifts, might start making a little more sense now.
"You can call me whenever you have the time, and I'll explain you what I can. I still have the same cellphone. I'll try to catch up with the knights I know, too... See if you can meet them too. They'll know better than I would, really... I still don't know all that much about knights."

Tate nodded, hair falling into her face. "Alright. Well... I'll see you later," she said, waving one hand. "Good night, Xavier." The door into the apartment building shut at her heels, and she could be heard climbing up the stairs for several minutes afterward.
