Pepin retorted with an excellent answer. When you could easily learn more why pass up the opportunity? "Good point." Mitsu nodded.
When Pepin directed her attention to her bush Mitsu was reminded that she needed to pick out another one of her own. Her's had made a beeline away from her. Frowning behind her mask Mitsu moved off to the side to pick another one out. She hoped for the time being it would stay calm, she really didn't want to try intimidating another one so soon.

Barth's thoughts were not far from Riley's, although his pace was slower.
His reaction to the paperwork, however, was abject dismay.
"Err, ah, Christof, would you mind...?"

Christof tensed at the sound of his name, eyes darting immediately to Riley- but the mindflayer was busy with her own paperwork. He had no alibis.
With a sigh, he rolled his eyes, moving to take Barth's paperwork from him a bit more snappishly than he had intended.

Oh, Mot seemed really unhappy about all this! Staring up at him, Xiu's ears and tails drooped as she reached out to squeeze his shoulder gently. "It's...probably just an off day for you," She told him softly, giving a little grin, "As for me, I'm not surprised that I was asked to stay behind." The Baku sighed, but she didn't seem particularly dejected. No, she knew that she had a lot to work on if she wanted to become an Amityville student to be proud of.
When some of the other students began to fill the room, Xiu watched on silently, shrinking back behind Mot at some of the unfamiliar faces. Mitsu received a wave, as did Ren, but there were a couple of others--knobs, mostly--who she wasn't familiar with.

At the front of the classroom, Merope approached the group long enough to turn her sheet in before quickly turning, moving away from them in order to put a physical distance between herself and them. This sucked. If she was now that sort of ghoul, she probably would have been in tears. As it was, Merope was simply disappointed in herself to the point of sulking.

Lizzy was the last to sign up, trailing after Mot after a moment's hesitation; after all, she wasn't sure if she had what it took to mentor a fellow student, Snot or not. The form was filled in quickly, and dropped off just as swiftly.

The students would receive a letter, slipped into their rooms, with the name of their assigned mentors/mentees, along with the following message:
"Thank you for signing up for this program! Feel free to set up a date with your assigned mentor/mentee at your earliest convenience, and meet up as many times as you deem necessary. There are no classes (as of yet) scheduled for the next three weeks, so Classroom 13 is open for use if needed; if you are unsure of anything, feel free to drop by my office.
Within these three weeks, for both mentors and mentees, please submit a short reflection paper no longer than 600 words - please include a short paragraph on your thoughts regarding this mentoring system.

-> Intimidation through use of FEAR: Basically, you "project" the FEAR that you are made of outwards, so that your "opponent" can be suppressed by you; it has nothing to do with your FEAR ability! For this, however, confidence is needed since a low confidence will mean that you will unconsciously hold back. Malcolm did explain in class!
