Izumi!... Poor girl. Dith offered her a warm smile as she approached. "Hello Izumi, please do sit down and join us. Would you like anything to eat or drink?" Trying to put this young woman at her ease seemed nigh on impossible from the little interaction he'd had with her, but it was still worth trying...
"Yes," Dith turned to Guy and nodded, "the daughter of the Duke of Grand Isle? Anyway," he then raised his eyebrows and looked over at Sera, "The papers, as all papers do, disagree. Same for news channels, from the clips I was able to research, but it was easier to look up back copies of papers. Some stated that it was certainly not connected to Team Rocket while others said it was possible, a couple were pretty convinced but had no proof of course, and one rather odd one that insisted it was some kind of divine punishment... Anyway, the point I came to was that there was never a definite answer or a conviction. It is possible that Team Rocket killed the girl, and given everything else they've done to all of us I am quite prepared to suspect them."
He was feeling a little annoyed with her now because she - in her bubble of pretty clothes and Luxury Balls - still seemed totally oblivious to the fact that there was a problem here. He was probably also annoyed because he had looked into that ball, and was being treated like an idiot over it. He'd trawled through every scrap of news that even whispered of Team Rocket, perhaps both hoping and fearing to spot a familiar face.... Anyway, it was high time that the little girl took her nose out of its sling and opened her eyes.
"In any case," Dith went on, his voice firming and losing its jovial edge as he sat forward in his chair and fixed Seraphine with a hard golden stare. "Set aside the girl who died, as there is no definite proof. The contest, as you request. At the contest they injured many people I do not know, stole pokemon from many people I do not know, nearly killed me, and stole Izumi's Wheatly and Rosie's Vahy'n. These things will not go unanswered. We are here because we intend to recover those pokemon, and see to it that Team Rocket do not hurt anyone else. We cannot expect to defeat them alone, however, which is why Rosie has contacted the former Champion Steven Stone." He almost added 'Do you understand how much of a problem they are now?' but bit the comment back. He had been firm enough already, there was no call for him to get outright nasty.

Even Rosie was a little taken aback by how lightly Seraphine was taking this, but she did have to remind herself of a few things. Seraphine had no contact with Rocket, she didn't understand, and sometimes, its hard to understand when its not put directly in front of you, especially something as scary as this, something you might just want to ignore.
She could tell this was making the others a little uncomfortable, and upset. Dith was trying to explain it to Sera, in a very serious way. and as he brought up the reports Rosie nodded in agreement and confirmation, glancing over at Seraphine, Rosie to had looked into reports of Rocket activity, and had been shocked to see just how many instances they had been involved in something that hurt so many people, and even more pokemon.
Just like the instance at the ball, Rosie was shocked at first to hear that Sera's parents where there when everything happened, and was so, so happy that they were okay. The Poke'ball, her own mother used to go to that every year... someday Rosie was hoping to go, it hurt her to think something like this could happen at an event like that. "The founder and host of the ball died that night to... but a little girl?" When Dith mentioned that she was from the Grand Ile, the daughter of a Duke, Rosie looked over to Guy. "the Duke's daughter... did you know her Guy?"
Guy didn't seem very happy at all either, Rosie could tell this was bothering him as well, she wasn't surprised, He had to fight one of them, he helped defend Rosie against that boy who looked.... just like Luke.
At the mention of pokemon that had been stolen, Rosie's heard still hurting for the one she had lost, and knowing Izumi had lost something just as precious. Rosie's throat tightened up, but she held back her tears. She was done with crying, now was the time to do something about it.
Placing a gentle hand on Izumi's shoulder, in reassurance, and giving her a kind smile. "I'm so glad you could make it." she looked around the group. "Everyone, this is Izumi, if you haven't met her. Izumi, you know Dith, and Guy. and this here is Seraphine,"
her gear made a beeping again, and Rosie quickly pulled it up. "... Steven said he is on his way. so I guess we have a little bit of time before he arrives." She told everyone, putting the gear back."I... I'll get some drinks for everyone, what would-"
Rosie stopped, when she suddenly found arms wrapped around her, blinking a couple of times, when she realized that Anonymes had floated over and given her a warm embrace. a soft smile feathered the corners of Rosie's lips, reaching her own arms up to return the hug. "Thank you Anonymes." She said quietly, very much appreciating the pokemon's gesture. He was such a sweet pokemon,

Rosie's assessment was correct - Sera refused to acknowledge a problem until it was plopped directly in front of her. And even then sometimes she'd just try to brush it aside. She immediately bristled when Dith began talking to her as if she were just a stupid little kid or something - which she most certainly was not - and she didn't notice that Izumi was close to tears. Being the spoiled brat she was, she didn't give the poor girl a second thought - she didn't care. What she did care about was Dith's statement about stolen pokemon. To be more specific, Rosie's stolen pokemon. Rosie's. Her unnaturally smooth and slender eyebrows - plucked, in all likelihood, but not by herself of course - rose in her obvious surprise, as her pale green eyes slid to the blond in question, who was offering kind words to the weird girl. That seemed to bring the point home - or, well, at least in the relative neighborhood - and Seraphine shifted awkwardly. "Oh," was all she said. What was she supposed to say to stuff like that? And it was Vahy'n, who, Sera was sure, Rosie had at one point mentioned was very important. All Sera really remembered was that the Vaporeon was gorgeous, and held a great deal of significance to her friend. Seraphine strategically avoided saying anything else - which was probably her smartest decision so far.
Mordecai watched the blue-haired woman walk in, his red eye focusing immediately on the lines all over her and her arm. It was.. it was amazing. He'd never seen a human with an arm like that before. His duty to Seraphine done for now - or at least until she called on him again - he floated over to Izumi and hovered near her arm, making curious and interested clicking noises. Was it a real arm? Did it work like a real arm?

Izumi smiled shyly as Rosie introduced her to everyone. This was much more people than she was used to being around, besides at the club--but that was different; No one was paying attention to her at the club. "H-hi..."
It took the mechanic a few seconds to notice the clicking and the presence near her arm. "O-oh. Hi..." She reached out with her robot arm and gave the beldum a pat while reaching into her jacket pocking and pulling out a few screws. "You hungry?" She held the screws out to the steel type pokemon.

Anonymes, even with his lack of a mouth, seemed to smile as Miss Rosie wrapped her arms around his small form. The Lampent held his favorite female human even tighter as he wiggled happily. Miss Rosie was so sweet and kind all of the time. She was always so strong and noble. She was just like Master in that sense. ...That brought a strange thought into the Ghost's head. It was almost like Miss Rosie and Master were perfect for each other! They were already such good friends! It was just the problem of his master's... condition. Poor Master. He could never hug Miss Rosie like Anon could. ...Wait. A brilliant idea popped into Anon's head! He could hug Miss Rosie for Master! It was perfect! What genius! What cunning!
His current mission in mind, Anonymes released Rosie from his giant hug, quickly hovered over to his master, and wrapped his arms around his master in a large hug, just like the Ghost did with Rosie. Anon happily burrowed his head into Guy's chest, his face lit up with delight. This worked perfectly! Anon could hug Miss Rosie, then he could hug Master! That way, it would be like Miss Rosie was hugging Master, in a sense! It would be grand.
As his Pokemon hovered over to him and caught him in a large hug, Guy chuckled, somewhat embarrassed by his Lampent's blatant affection. "Yes, yes, thank you, Anon. That's enough, heh-heh." With a considerable amount of effort, Guy pried Anonymes from him and patted his Pokemon on the head. Silently, Guy mulled over Rosie's and Dith's words. The daughter of a Grande Isle duke... Yes... Now he remembered. So many people were in an uproar. It was simply barbaric. He did not have any personal connection to the family of the victim, but he knew that it was the cause of much heartbreak within the nobles. How could anyone do such an evil deed...?
Oh right. Drinks. "Um, yes. I'll help you with that, Miss Rosie." Guy took a quick sip of his coffee, which had cooled down considerably since he had last touched it. Once that was done, he stood and walked closer to Rosie, making sure to keep a safe distance from her. He glanced about at the ever-growing group. "Right. Now, what would everyone like?" ...It seems like the swordsman has been transformed into a butler.

Suddenly outside the window there was a strange sound of metal against metal before a clang as feet touched down on concrete. The bladed wings of a Skarmory ceased their reverberating action before they were folded at the sides of the metalic bird, allowing its passenger to dismount.
A man with silvery hair, dressed in black and purple with a red tie, jumped down from the back of the steely bird. He glanced up at the front of the diner, and it seemed to be the right place.
Recalling his Pokemon to its ball, Steven Stone went to the front door of the joint and entered. There at the entrance he paused while quietly looking around for a familiar face. Instead of the friendly smile on his face, his expression was a serious one. This would be more than just a friendly gathering. There was work to be done.

A hand lifted, brushing one of her knuckles quickly over one of her cheek bones, before a soft smile returned to her lips, and her hands folded tightly in front of her again, watching as the Ghost type went over to give his trainer a hug as well. Such a sweet pokemon, she really did love that little guy.
"Yes. what would everyone li-" She perked up, distracting herself with making sure everyone got something they enjoyed. But the sounds of metal outside, and the appearance of a large metal bird, outside, and a familiar silver haired man walking into the cafe drew Rosie up.
Steven was here.
"Miste- Mm- Steven, thank you so much for meeting with us." Rosie said, stepping around the table to meet the Hoenn league champion. Her voice didn't carry much of her usual light, chipper pleasantries. Quite the contrary, it was rather urgent sounding, uncertain, though extremely thankful to the man.

Ah. So he was here. That had been rather quick. Getting slowly to his feet - and firmly repressing the urge to grimace as the wounds across his torso flared with pain - Dith stepped around the table after Rosie and extended a huge hand to the silver-haired man. "Mr. Stone, I am pleased to meet you, and I also thank you for coming."
What was the former champion going to recommend? He wondered if the man would even be happy to let a few teens - was Guy still in his teens? - even consider facing Team Rocket. Children went off on pokemon journeys, yes, but this was different... and yet were they not old enough to decide for themselves whether or not they wished to take the risk? It was something he'd been mulling over himself, and he had yet to come to a conclusion. Old enough to know their own minds of course, but old enough to decide to risk their lives? Those who had been at the contest had had a taste of that much danger and were willing to face it again, they weren't running in blind thinking it would be easy.... And yet they were so young. Yet thinking again, at their age if he had wanted to do something like this and some adult had tried to stop him what would he have done? He would have totally ignored them and done it anyway, but without letting them know thus shutting out their help. That was probably his answer then; there was no point in trying to prevent them, the best he could do to see they were safe was to keep his concerns to himself and join them. Would Stone come to a similar conclusion? Presumably he would find out the answer to that soon enough.

Steven's serious expression lightened a little bit to a small smile as Rosie stood and greeted him. He approached her and the group, taking note of those that had decided to come. Most he recognized, but the giant of a man who spoke next, he did not.
As Dith stood, Steven blinked once and inclined his gaze. Great Groudon, this man was huge! He rivaled even the size of his Aggron. Trying to hide his astonishment, Steven again smiled politely and reached out to shake his hand.... which was easily twice the size of his.
"Mr. Stone is my father, please call me Steven. Who might you be, sir?"

The imminent arrival of Steven Stone, it seemed, was finally upon them, and the sound of metal scraping against metal and the small jingle of the bell at the door announced the former Champion's presence among them. The combination of these two sounds made Guy turn around in slight surprise to greet the gray-haired man. Guy didn't expect Steven to arrive so quickly. Where was he, anyway, before he had come to see them? Well... Such things didn't matter at the moment. There were more important things to be worried about.
"Ah, Steven. You're here then." Good, very good. Now they could finally get down to business. But wait. ...Would people still want drinks? Should he still get them all something? He assumed that he should, but would that really be important now that Steven had finally arrived? Would Steven want something?
"Um... Steven, would you like anything to drink or eat, now that you're here?" If he didn't make sure everyone was accounted for, then what kind of butler would he be?

Rosie looked up at Dith as he also stood and walked over to greet Steven, shifting her weight to the side as Steven addressed the large man. "This is Dith, we met him at the contest a couple of days ago. He's here to help to." Rosie introduced the Russian, and explained his presence.
When Guy continued to ask about drinks, Rosie looked over to Steven to see what he would say, or if any of the others wanted something to.
It was still quite an amazing thing to be standing in front of, and talking to someone like Steven. This man was a legend, a master of Pokemon. The knowledge and skill was just emanating from the man, the way he carried himself, and spoke. And yet he seemed still so kind, willing to let them help out, even though many of them were still so new to pokemon training. She really hoped they could help.

The black Beldum made curious whirring noises when Izumi held out the screws. She was offering him food?! His mistress never did - not because she didn't care about him, he was sure, she just.. more than likely thought he didn't eat. So, with an excited hum he very carefully plucked the screws from Izumi's hand. The absolute last thing he wanted to do was harm the extremely kind woman who was feeding him! His bottom shutter lifted, covering the bottom half of his eye in what was probably glee. Or at least, the noises he was making suggested as much. When he'd finished eating, he hovered down to inspect her metal arm - it was the most beautiful, amazing thing he'd ever laid eyes on.
Seraphine shifted rather awkwardly - trying not to feel too awkward, but it was sort of hard now - and turned pale green eyes onto the old guy that walked in. They all seemed to know him, and he did look sort of familiar... Wasn't he that guy from the fair? Or whatever that was... Still, she didn't really know him - and she had no desire to get up and crowd him more, even if she were interested (which she wasn't) - so she remained sitting where she was, though her usual condescending expressions were curiously absent for the time being. They'd probably return later.

Izumi remained silent, and seated, as Steven approached the group. Before Rosie had contacted her, she'd never even heard of him before- The mechanic didn't really follow the Pokemon League. Rather than speak or introduce herself as the rest of the group was doing, she watched the black steel type eat from her hand and then wrapped her arms around him, pulling him into her lap, like a cat.

Citrine had been away from Kodo for a while. She'd had to return home after falling ill for some months. But as soon as she had gotten a message from Rosie, the young trainer was on the next boat to Kodo.
And here she was! ... Completely lost. Wait, was she? No. No she wasn't. The white haunter before her kept motioning her to follow. She trusted Nornsteen, now, not to lead her to harm, so she jogged after the pokemon through the whole city until she had phased through the door of a cafe. It looked so crowded inside. What was Nornsteen doing?
Of course the haunter had no question what she was doing. And the blond was easy to spot. Drifting around behind her, Nornsteen tried to placed her hands over Rosie's eyes, hoping to make her happy and surprised. "Haunt haunt~"
Citrine pulled the door open and peeked inside. There were so many people... Where did Nornsteen- She had her hands reaching for someone. Wait, that was Rosie! "ROSIE!" The tanned child launched herself at her friend, intent on hugging her and burying her face in the older girls shoulder. "I came as soon as I got your message! I'm so sososososorrythishappened! I'lldoanythingIcantohelp!"
Oh no. There were so many other people around, weren't there? AH! She just made a fool of herself! "Um... I mean... That is..." Where was a hole to crawl into when you needed one.

"Steven then," Dith smiled, "and as Rosie says, I'm generally known as Dith.... Ah, and who is this?" Another young girl had just arrived, seemingly another friend of Rosie. This one looked very young, he doubted she was even into her teens yet. She couldn't possibly be meaning to join them, could she? It was far too dangerous for a child so young, she hadn't the maturity to make that choice and what would her parents say?... Well, perhaps she could help them indirectly, not actually putting herself in danger. It would be best to see what she planned to do before he jumped down her throat, especially as she now seemed rather shy.
"Hello there," he offered the little girl a warm smile, "another friend of Rosie? My name is Dith, that's Guy, that's Izumi, that's Seraphine if you don't know her already, and that is Steven.... Humm, now, are we staying here or going somewhere else?" Frankly he was all for staying here; much though he didn't like to admit it he was tired and sore and generally not up for trekking across the city unless absolutely necessary.
