Idylla Halkias never really thought of selling the land she and her sister had inherited from their father when he died and left their mother with Upon the Meadow Stables, affectionately nicknamed UTMS for short. However, as someone who had never stepped a foot into the equine world, and probably at this point never would, she thought it best to sell and split the money with her sister. She'd agreed to sell UTMS, but wanetd to talk one last walk around the property before it would be sold. So today Idylla wanted to take a look at the part of her property she would miss the most, she wasn't quite happy with the idea of selling, there were so many childhood memories planted in the parts of the forest they'd never cut down. Not many knew of the vast meadows that kept well hidden in the forest, only those who knew their way around would not get lost.

That morning, Idylla had slipped into her usual worn riding breeches, a simple body hugging tee and put on her riding boots and set off towards the stables.
The few people left at the stables weren't used to seeing her, she hadn't been there in a long time, neither the less they recognized her, and when she stepped into the busy stable, people inclined their heads sending her a warm smile. Usually, she couldn't blend into her surroundings. Her hair was red and long always curling at the small of her back, but here in her riding clothing she melt away with the others. Her eyes were a vibrant turquoise she'd inherited from her father. Her appearance contrasted so oddly to her horse, a rather bulky and large Friesian as black as night that still managed to be as sleek and elegant as his smaller equine cousins. With a low wicker, Idylla took the large beast out and began grooming him. If she was going to go out into the forest, she'd much rather be doing it on a horses back then by feet.

Moments later, Idylla was within the depths of the forest enjoy the serene silence. Of course the place tugged at her heart, but she felt like she didn't have a choice, she wasn't interested in running her family's business. The behemoth continued his slow weaving through the trees and tall grasses, the reason behind the name of the stable was because it once had been a meadow, and smaller meadows could be found all around if one went out looking. The duo did in fact stumble into one of these hidden meadows, with tall grass that extended to her waist and a large willow tree that was in full bloom. The willow tree's branches were sweeping the floor, creating a room effect when one stepped inside. Swinging off, Idylla let Hendricks have a take at the grass; it would surely be sweet and savoury from lack of human touch. Curious, she made her way over to the tree, sliding her hands through the thin branches and stepping into the space.

“Hi.” What looked like an elf turned around and faced her, a sly smile on his lips, Idylla frowned but couldn’t help her own smile on her features. As far as she knew, she was still on her property, and he was trespassing. “Why hello there, interesting place to meet someone don't you think?” Idylla frowned, “Yea I guess so, I mean I am on my property, in the middle of a forest, under a willow tree. Don't think that’s usually where people meet.” Idylla was hinting, and he finally seemed to fully turned around and face her. He stepped forward, offering her a hand. She took it, shaking it with great ease. “I'm Idylla, owner of this pretty place, and you are?” Another smile, this time less sly. “Voren, and I apologize. I was visiting an old friend.”

He grew quiet and returned by the tree, putting a hand on it and closing his eyes. Feeling a little awkward, Idylla scooted closer to the tree, going to lean on it and gazed about. Not much light was going in through the foliage, but just enough create some sort of peaceful ambiance. He was interesting though, thoughtful and he seemed to care a lot for the tree. Idylla had questions but stayed quiet and watched him, but a sudden tug to tell him why she was here made her break the silence. “I'm thinking of selling this property.” That got him stirring, but he didn't open his eyes right away, slowly, as if he was thinking on what to do with her, somehow Idylla knew she'd get that kind of response from him. She wanted to apologize, really, and she didn't even know why. Finally his stern gaze was on her, curiosity playing on his features.

“I planted this tree, and look how beautiful she's grown.” He paused, that sly smirk on his features once more. It intrigued Idylla, but she wouldn't be baited. Then suddenly he pushed himself off the tree, took off his satchel and extended it towards Idylla, urging her to take it. She took it, briefly giving it an over look before putting the strap across her shoulder.

He turned his back to her again and made his way out of the willows safety, now it seemed odd for her to be alone there and Idylla crept out from the shadows. The sun was still high, and Voren was no where in sight. Idylla frowned, what a mysterious yet interesting man! Whistling, Hendricks pulled himself away from the grass and trotted over to her. Before saddling up, Idylla looked through the bag and found a pink seed, gently grabbing it Idylla pocketed it. Voren probably wanted it planted if the willow died... She had things to think about, and certainly that willow couldn't be destroyed. Though it did leave her thinking, which friend had Voren been referring to?

There were some weeks Idylla stayed a few days in Sanctum, she enjoyed the world, it`s young beauty far more than the modern Gaia. The only times she didn`t like Sanctum was when she was stuck under her willow tree in the rain. The house she was still trying to build herself provided little shelter against Mother Nature. None the less, in Elore rain wasn`t so often that she couldn`t bare it. Rainy days, when she kept dry and warm allowed her to write in her journal. Idi had been able to hire someone to keep her house construction going when she was away visiting the world. So far, she was on her fourth journal, one for each place she`d visited.

Hammering out the final nail for her roof, Idi made her slow way back down the tree. Jacyl was down stairs starring up at her work; he helped her down and gave her a smile. Jacyl was from Rosh, a tall and very well built man, with rich dark brown eyes and black hair. Idi had found the traveling carpenter in Voro one night, since he needed work and she needed help, the two paired up to work on her home. He`d been more than happy to find out she was a patron when he`d first seen her little sapling growing by the tree. So here he was, help her out finishing all the support and structuring for the roof today. He`d felt bad about finding Idi freezing cold under the tree when the rain was pouring down. After drying up, and a good breakfast, they`d started on her roof, and now both could look up with satisfaction.

To anyone looking towards the tree, they would see some parts of the roof sticking out through the long branches of the willow. Idi had planned the home to be three stories high considering the height of the tree and how big it was. The home wouldn`t be very big size wise, the first floor consisted of a kitchen or as close as a kitchen that Idi could have in Sanctum. There was a living room she would buy furniture for in the nearby village, nothing out of the ordinary, and then an outhouse which was one of the bathrooms. Second floor consisted of a small office space for Idi where she could still work on her work, her bedroom and a bathroom which only had a bath and shower. Third floor would have her seedlings room. Jacyl had helped her with getting some machines for collecting water for everyday use, otherwise the only light that came in were from the windows Idi could open by moving a few branches.

“Well now you’re safe from rain, but we’re going to have to get your walls up soon so we can get started on your floors. You should be safe from the elements after that.” Idi smiled, walking to the basket where she kept her food for now. “You want something to eat looks like it’s about lunch time, can’t really tell in this light.” Grabbing the basket, Idi went towards the makeshift table and uncovered the food. She’d gathered a few fruits, honey, and some bread, Idi missed meat but she didn’t eat much of it while in Sanctum. Jacyl made his way over to the table and sat down across from her grabbing an apple and taking a bit, he glanced at the spark. “Keeps getting bigger every day huh?” Idi grabbed some of the berries and popped some into her mouth. “Yea, don’t know what it’s supposed to grow into.”

Jacyl smiled. “Living being, I’ve seen some. Very pretty.” They stayed silent for a few moments, enjoying the warmth. “How long do you think they take to uh, birth these living beings?” Jacyl shrugged. “No idea, I don’t know much about guardians. They went extinct a while ago, dark queen made sure of that.” Idi kept hearing murmurs of this dark queen and her so called return, as long as the woman didn’t come bothering her, she’d have no problem. Though the whispers talked f war and blood, something Idi did not like hearing about. Jacyl got up and clapped her shoulder. “Back to work lady, we gotta get you some walls!”
