Nodding, Chibimoon approved of Europa pulling herself together. It wasn't an easy thing to do and kingdoms had fallen from a single leader being unable to pull themselves out of the hole and actually lead. It had taken a few years for Sailor Moon to find that inner strength to defeat Chaos, push back the darkness, and shine her light bright enough to keep a whole world safe.
It was also a good idea that Europa hadn't pushed the killing angle. Wanton cruelty was not something that the tiny princess was for, she wanted a quick and painless kill but a kill nonetheless. Her mother would have been horrified to know that her daughter could be capable of such bloody, final thinking. Thankfully, her mother wasn't there and wasn't a mind reader wherever the hell she was.
"I fight for peace. I do not want to spend the rest of my life a senshi. I want to grow up, grow old, die old. I do not want to fight forever. I will fight with you, Sailor Europa."

It would have been too much for Europa to manage even the smallest of smiles. Even if she no longer felt completely grim, it would be a long climb out of this hole she had dug herself into. Smiling for the princess would just be forced and inauthentic. This wasn't to say that the premise of leaving battle behind and living to a ripe old age wasn't appetizing. As much as Europa loved the freedom her powers gave her, she would give them up in a heartbeat if it meant once more living in a normal world with no aliens or supernatural crime syndicates, a world where your cousin moved to town and made friends and those friends were nice people, not people about to steal her life away.
"I'd give all the magic up if it meant things would be peaceful again," she agreed. Not that that was any kind of workable option, though. Europa rubbed her hands across her wet cheeks again and took a few steps towards the railing before she faced Chibimoon again.
"It will be an honor to fight by your side, Princess," the senshi of the deep swore. Less formally, she added, "I'll call you about the meeting when I know the time and place." Then, formal once more, she curtseyed. No, Europa assured herself as she bowed her head to the princess. Chibimoon wasn't a false prophet - Chibimoon was wise beyond her years.
She no longer worried about leading the Jovians in an alliance Chibimoon - there was only the matter of whether the Jovians would willingly follow.
Europa stifled a yawn and leaned against the observation deck railing. "I'd better get home before it gets much later," she sighed, climbing over the side. It was just going to be one foot beneath the other until she felt low enough to jump - a long, slow decent.
"Good night, Princess," she called, and focused on the task at hand.
