Nitor watched as Alaera fussed with hiding her pack - he could point out how unlikely it was for someone to wander by and steal it while they were right here...but he had had that conversation with her many times in the past and he already knew how incredibly useless it would be. Alaera would simply fret and worry the entire time unless he let her go ahead and hide it away like that and since he wanted the after noon to be enjoyable for the both of them he was willing to let her.
When it seemed she was finally satisfied Nitor ducked his head slightly to the side to avoid the spray of water her running into the pool caused and then nipped her playfully as she bumped him in the shoulder. When she mentioned a family before swimming away his ear pricked up and he turned and swam after her. "It would be" He allowed as he caught up with her. "Whenever you are ready for one of course.." He went on, sure he wanted a family but he was also aware that they were still young - and had plenty of time for such things. He was willing to wait until Alaera was ready to settle down and stay in one place for more then a couple of night. "We should remember where it is...it's almost like a treasure that's to big for us to carry back"

Alaera giggled and swam faster for a few moments as Nitor chased after her. But eventually she let him catch her and spun around, giving him a loving nuzzle. "When it happens, I'll be ready." Nitor's response did not disappoint her, it was enough to tell her that he too would on day like to start a family. She may love to run off on a random adventure looking for treasure, but Alaera knew that eventually they would settle down, have a family and teach their children the wonders of the world. Perhaps some of her treasure hunting was to fill the gap until they had children, but she wasn't entirely certain.
Kicking her legs lightly to stay in the particular spot of the water Alaera looked up at the waterfall and nodded. "I doubt I could ever forget where this place was." How could she? It was the most beautiful place they had been and not overly far from the herds current location either. Eying Nitor she gave him a sly smile. "Of course with a big enough pack and a bit of muscle we might be able to bring it back with us." She couldn't help but let out a laugh. Of course, that would also mean sharing it with the others, which while that would be nice, Alaera really wanted to keep this place a secret, this would be her and Nitor's special spot.

Nitor gave the mare a warm look, it was nice to know that they were on the same page with starting a family and he knew that he would certainly continue to look forward to the day when little hooves accompanied them on their travels and in the meantime? He was perfectly happy just spending time with Alaera and enjoying life.
"Perhaps pieces of it" He agreed as he looked around " But it wouldn't be the same - no some treasures were better left where they were found and this was one of them. Nuzzling his mate blissfully the stallion set about enjoying the rest of the afternoon with Alaera, they swam until both of them were tired and afterwards explored a bit around the base of the falls, a few sparkly rocks of unusual color were added to Alaera's packs by the end of the day and as night fell Nitor made them a comfortable bed in the safety of the ferns so that they could spend the night.
