Nahasi watched her as she made her way through the tunnels. Following her closely. He hurried to keep up with her. "They are this way," he led the way doing his best to remember which tunnels to take. He found the healers den and luckily for them there was a healer outside the den. "Healer my friend is hurt. Please look at him."
The healer looked at the mother than to Jemmnu. "Let me look at him." He gently examined Jemmnu. "He should stay here for a couple nights. His wounds look bad and it looks like it might be infected. We need to properly clean it up."
"He should be find though after he rest," he assured the mother and the cub. "Once we are done with him he will be good as new. Now let me bring him into our den. He'll be safe there. Nothing bad will happen to him there. You can even come visit him once he is doing better."
Nahasi nodded his head. How could Jem be so badly hurt? Was it his fault. It couldn't be. He didn't want something like this to happen to Jem. "Please be okay Jem." He looked at the medic. "Please take care of him. I don't want to lose my best friend."

His mother was in the same tight spot as they arrived and she gently put Jemmnu down. She didn't want to part from him that was for sure- but she knew if his father saw her out... the consequences would be dire. So she opt to do the only thing she could do.. Back away. Bowing. "Thank you brother." There wasn't anything else left to say, before turning away to leave, til she looked down at how devastated Nahasi was taking to her son. Her ears panned back, someone cared about him almost if not more than her. She couldn't be more thankful.
Lowering herself to the future king, it showed in his eyes- the future was only but unfolding. "If I may be so selfish- please look after my son when you are not busy... and forget you saw me..if only for Jem's safety that he not know." Whom she looked back at the healer, whom probably was one to treat her wounds from the last time she 'snuck out' of her den..This time she knew he would take it out on.. HER son. How deep did this family's secrets go?
Jem was carefully taken in to care- his eyes warping as they slitted open only to watch carefully as form disappeared- and Nahasi was straight in his sights.. A soft groan to show he was in limbo now... Neither awake nor sleep.. As he felt an oozing pain on his head.. Which if not treated soon could effect the outcome of his future but now with the healers.. He was in good paws.
"Hasi.." In the midst of limbo.."Fore---ever.." That gawking effect of day dreaming and dreaming something happy.. Which made him keep that goofy smile on his face despite the gravity of the wound.

Nahasi looked into Jem's mother's eyes and nodded his head. He would check on Jem when ever he could. Even now as the healer carried Jem into the den, he followed. He saw all the sick members of the pride. He shived at the thought of Jem being here by himself.
He stayed close to the leopard, almost touching him. When he spoke, Nahasi let out a sigh of relief. "Forever Jem." he agreed with a nod. "I'll be with you forever. Nothing is going to change that."
"Nahasi I think it is time for you to go." the healer said as he set Jem down carefully. "Your friend will heal up quicker if you aren't here. He needs his rest. Plus your father is probably worried sick about you. Go scurry off to him and tell him what happened here." he said in a low, serious voice.
"My dad doesn't care about me. Jem does. I want to stay here."
The healer gave him a stern look, which made Nahasi look at the ground. "He needs his sleep Nahasi. You may come back later and check on him. Until than I am only going to allow his father to come in and check on him."
Nahasi nodded his head. "Jem, Jem I'll be back soon okay. Get better quickly so we can play games. Okay?"
