I had a question: I've seen at least one person using their cell phones to tweet/putz around while in the Surrounding. How would civilian cell phones and similar gadgets behave while at the outposts? Do they work normally? Do they kind of just dead end somewhere in Mauvian Technology and just look it it works? What happens when our not So E.T's try and 'phone home'? (if they have cell's with them.)
Mouse: There aren't any cell phone towers on the Surrounding and everyone is pretty far away from the Earth ones, so the place is pretty much a dead zone for civilian devices.
Akina: I would assume that the phones still work, just that they can't actually send a signal. So you would know the time and anything stored on your phone for as long as it takes the thing to run out of battery, but you couldn't call your mom or anything like that. The person who is tweeting asked about it, and I told them that it would be assumed that the phone was storing the tweets, not actually uploading them to the internet. Battery-operated things would work until the batteries stopped.

With the idea that civilians can request certain items to be brought back, could someone bring a camera to them or would that be no good?
Nessy: They are welcome to request almost anything and I'm sure you could find someone willing to bring your character a camera. However if the Zodiacs/knights/other senshi would allow pictures/confiscate the camera/etc is up to the individual players and an 'at your own risk' sort of situation.
Roma: If Virgo sees your camera, she's taking it and probably destroying it, so keep that thing hidden in Temple Virgo. There is no freedom of speech in space, unfortunately, especially not when in a sacred place.

When coming into contact with the deep space chaos monster serum and our character is put into a coma for however many days, should we refrain from posting for a similar length of IRL days or is it permissible to continue roleplaying our character provided we mention the passing of time?
Akina: Yeah, you don't have to actually sit out for two days! I would recommend doing one solo or perhaps one regular where people come visit your character just to establish the coma, and then it is AOK to keep on RPing.

Can we still join an ORP if **** have been inserted in the title?
Mouse: It would probably be best if you didn't, since otherwise there's a risk of tons of players flooding into an ORP where there's been GM intervention. ^^; If you really want to join in, please do so within the first 'round' of GM posting.
Akina: Mouse is correct about not joining one that is well underway. But, yes, if no real prompts have been given (ie, if myself or another GM has only made one post), you are more than welcome to join it. The more the merrier!

Do RPs where GMs have intervened count as battles or regulars towards growth requirements?
Mouse: If there's at least two powered characters present and there is fighting involved, then it's a battle! Otherwise it would be a regular.
ALSO, what happens if a character tries to go towards an off-limits outpost? Is there a barrier, or will they be attacked, or is it just something that we shouldn't bother doing because the GMs said not to?
Roma: There is a barrier as covered in the settings post. They may be attacked but it's not guaranteed. Presumably a Zodiac comes and kicks your a** to persuade you not to do it again!

Considering how long they've been stuck up there, what exactly is the bathroom situation like? Virgo has bathrooms listed but say some 1000 years ago, what exactly were they like? Were they like our toilets now? More primitive? More technologically advanced? Were they a bowl shaped rock on a flatter, bigger rock?
Thank you. <3
Roma: They're basically normal porcelain toilets like you'd see on Earth, if a bit closer to high-efficiency than to, you know, luxury toilets with gold lids. (You might find those on Leo.) The difference here isn't really the time, since some worlds were very high-technology and certainly some would've helped build the Surrounding a thousand of years ago, so much as the fact that they run on magic and miracles.
Basically: They're there and they're functioning and you won't get tetanus from using them.

If we would specifically like our civilians to die, is that something we can request? Or should we really just leave it up to fate?
Just curious really, cause I'm wondering what might happen to civilians that were made just for fun (without any intent/desire to keep them), who *might* end up living at the end of the event? Can we force them to die? And if so, would that make us forfeit any prizes , or are prizes totally separate from the meta civilian identities? (if the answer to that ruins any surprises, feel free to only answer the first part of the question!)
(not that I personally mind if my own meta civvie lives or dies, but I know there's a few people with civvies that would like them to die)
Mouse: This is a pretty tough question to answer directly. I'll just leave it as saying that your RP performance in this meta, with your meta civilian, determines whether you win a powered prize. If you really, REALLY want your character to die, let us know. You can't be too picky about how and when your character dies, however.

So this is something puttering about in my head:
Senshi aren't exactly looking to power down infront of the civi's to catch 20 winks, so is it safe to assume that during the event the Surrounding lets Senshi stay henshined up for extremely long periods and how would this effect the use of powers, can people use them more often since they aren't really getting periods of time between to power down and rest?
Mouse: Non-Zodiac senshi are traveling back and forth from the Surrounding in order to help traffic supplies, so you can assume they're powering down at their homes in order to get rest if they need to. Zodiac senshi IIRC all have private areas in their outposts they can retreat to if they need to... unfortunately, they're so busy that they're probably not getting much downtime.
In short: this is a crisis situation and everyone involved is going to be pretty exhausted. The usage rules of your powers do not change while on the Surrounding -- if you have a once-per-battle rule, then it can used once every five minutes, but after a lot of consistent use you'd need to take a breather and recharge.

Pretty much Season related:
Seasons have their homeworlds from which they originate from before being sent to the Surrounding. So, since they're able to access both their home planets and the Surrounding, would they be able to experience memories in both places as well? Just asking because it was mentioned that you could only experience memories on your home planet, but it is plausible to have them experience memories in the Surrounding too since most of their life was spent there, yes?
Mouse: That's perfectly fine!

sort of echoing what melodine asked for the chronos outpost artifcats are the senshi allowed to have flashbacks invoked by their artifact?
in specificity; would draconis be able to have incredibly fuzzy flashbacks (just like ... the image of a blurred eye, or some hair or something) invoked by the dragon scale that resides in the chronos outpost?
Mouse: Past life memories are only invoked on your home planet. So if you want to have a memory about the Draconis Scale, then your best bet is to go wherever it was originally gathered! You can think it's terribly familiar if you see it in the artifact room, but not have a full-blown flashback.

Since the Negaverse has started attacking the Surrounding, does that mean that threads we make for our meta civvies are safe now? =O No more space monsters?
Mouse: The space monsters have no reason to stop attacking -- so NO THREAD IS SAFE, still. 8D

The dead civilians cannot talk directly to the living ones unless they enter their bodies, but can the ghosts communicate with each other freely ?
Say, if Joshua ran into Hawke, do they have some way to talk/communicate with each other ?
Nessy: Yep! They are on the same plane of existence.
Mouse: However, it would be in a bit of a trippy dreamlike state due to the nature of these beings.

Can corrupted senshi partner up with a disposable Negaverser to run a battle, or can it only be with PC officers? The overload of the youma piloting or something could kill them at the end of the fight, or something.
Nessy: Disposables are fine as long as you still submit a plot to the mule.

For the new "Maybe It's Time" ORP, are... the meta civilians the ones lifting their hands and saying "It's coming" or are they observing some stranger doing this action?
Or is it our choice between the two xD ?
Nessy: It is one of the civilians doing the hand-lifting. I did not want to pick actual PCs because then that raises all sorts of fairness issues. So just assume it's a civ that has been there the whole time that was possessed. You know them, you saw them explode with gold sparks, but you know there was no way that was their voice!
