Hellfyre snorted, "Ain't that the truth." Perhaps he was getting fat? Eep note to self, must run more often. Hellfyre pounded into the dirt and dug in. He pulled a little ahead but knew that Prism could easily catch him.

Prism enjoyed this little game. He jumped into the air taking flight. Yes it was cheating but he could easily keep up with his toy. He flew alongside Hellfyre. "So Hellfyre you wanna really annoy Opal?"

Prism smirked continuing to fly. "Yes but you know you love watching my powerful wings at work." He flew past Hell doing a trick in the air to show off his abilities. "And I was thinking that you and I should have a little fun with miss snooty pants. You will just follow my lead on this." He winked at him.

"Of course I love watching you fly." Hellfyre said between inhalations. "Whatever you say goes as you got the plan. Opal needs to loosen up, badly." Hellfyre said as the Tree came into view. "Nearly there Prism."

Opal could be seen grazing near the tree. She felt like all she ever did any more is eat. She had to have taken to foal that was final.
Prism looked then smirked seeing a white spot near the tree. "Ohhh look speak of the devil there she is!" He snickered. "Alright so you head on up there. I'm gonna follow but high in the air so she doesn't see me at first. When you get there I'll land just to annoy her."

"Okay," Hellfyre agreed and then did as he was asked. He slowed and trotted up to Opal. "Hello your Alphaness, how are you today?" he asked innocently. Hellfyre had to force himself not to look up as he could swear he now heard faint wingbeats.

Opal eyed Hellfyre. "Ohhh what do you want? I swear you are more annoying then Tide!" She went back to grazing in the grass.
Prism swooped down then landed gracefully next to Hellfyre. "Is it just me or you letting yourself go? Because man you are getting faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat." He grinned at Opal.
Opal brought up her head screaming at him. "GET OUT OF HERE! YOU YOU JERK. YOU ARE NOT WELCOME HERE!" She started pawing threateningly at the ground. "I'LL STOMP YOUR a** TO THE GROUND IF YOU DON'T LEAVE!"

Hellfyre wisely kept his mouth shut and watched the play between two, fully grown, adult horses. They acted a little like yearlings except much louder. He sighed and basked in the drama. After this hopefully Opal would unclench and be nicer to him.

Prism smirked at her. "Temper temper fattie." He grinned then scooted closer to Hellfyre before giving him a loving nuzzle. "You wouldn't wanna upset my boyfriend here now would you? Isn't he just so sexy?" He was loving this reaction. He knew she would flip out.
Opal's eyes went wide. "HELLFYRE! I'M GOING TO KICK YOUR a** FOR BRING THAT PIECE OF TRASH INTO MY HERD!" She stamped her hooves like a yearling in a temper tantrum. And boy was she making a ruckus. It wouldn't be surprising if Ion showed up at her screaming.

Hellfyre blinked. Boyfriend? Hmm well there were worse things.
"He is not a piece of trash Opal and you may not address him as such. You are not a very diplomatic Alpha are you?" Hellfyre asked, playing the insulted card.
Ion came around the tree and skidded to an alarmed stop. The whites around his eyes showing. "What is going on Opal are you okay?" he asked, very concerned. He for one had noticed the pudgeyness around her middle but at least he knew what it was.

Prism smirked at Hellfyre then looked back at Opal. "Fattie there has a few personal issues against me. Don't ya fattie? I do say how can your mate stand to look at you fatso?" He looked at Ion as he appeared. "Ohhh look it's whatever his name is."
Opal puffed up her face red as a ripe apple. "THAT STALLION IS THE BIGGEST PIECE OF TRASH I'VE EVER SEEN! I'LL ADDRESS HIM ANY WAY I SEE FIT!" She continued in her tantrum. "AND STOP CALLING ME FAT YOU POMPOUS a**!" She swung her head around looking much like a spoiled child. "YOUR BROTHER BROUGHT THAT INTO THE HERD! MAKE THEM LEAVE NOW!" She continued to stamp her hooves getting ready to charge head on into Prism.

"Opal, Opal! my love let us deal with this rationally, and you! stop calling her fat! She is not. Hellfyre explain why Opal wants to pound him into the dust besides his insulting behavior." Ion tried to remain calm, so he could calm his mate.
"Well, I think its mostly because he was insulting her, he has caused no bodily harm as of yet. " Hellfyre answered. " I believe they have met before though." To Opal he said "He is not a piece of trash he is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. And the most iteresting. Nothing ever happens around here."

"NO NO NO!" Opal continued in her tantrum. She snorted then trampled towards Prism slamming her head into his side. "GO AWAY!" She then stamped on his hoof.
Prism didn't move then laughed at her efforts. Then put his head over her neck in the fashion Ion had done several times. He spoke loudly enough for all to hear. "Once upon a time there was a little mare."
Opal pushed him off then retreated to Ion. "SHUT UP!"
Prism smirked. "Don't want them to hear your little secret fattie?"

Tide chose that moment to appear. "What secret? And who might this be?"
Ion looked at Opal with worry, he figured this would hurt her if it didn't hurt him. And he only wanted Opal to be happy.
Hellfyre stood by Prism and waited. He had never seen Opal that mad.
"Tide you chose the worst times to enter conversations you know that?" said Ion
