Riley quirked in amusement at his begrudging admittance, finding common ground in the discontent. Believe me. It's not the worst weakness in the world. Besides. We've all got them. Even me, the words were left unsaid.
She could still feel the touch of his thoughts in her mind. It stung. It shouldn't sting.
I don't think you can desensitize yourself to tickling, sadly. Or, well, I don't know.. I've never tried. Maybe you can. She lifted her tentacles helpfully. Would you like to try?
That's how she dealt with her weaknesses, anyway. Just kept plowing past them until they were no longer weak.

Shun stared at Riley, grimacing at the thought. He was aware that everyone had weaknesses. He knew he had his fair share of flaws. This particular one was... a little humiliating. Not only that, but he literally could not do anything while she had him in her grasp. That was a deadly weakness as far as he was concerned.
Though, not many people thought of trying to tickle their opponents in a fight. Even so, with this in mind, he wanted to try and reduce its effectiveness as much as possible.
"If someone were to find out about this in the middle of battle, things would go very poorly for me," he grumbled before begrudgingly said, "If there's a chance I can cut down on this weakness, I'll take it."
Ugh, he was going to regret this. He could already tell. This tickling was a horrible horrible sensation.

Brave man. She had to admit, it was a bold move, accepting her offer. After all.. not many people could tickle the way she did. In fact, the only other person who could was Andeon - and Andeon did not tickle his victims. So really, if Shun managed to desensitize himself from her advances, he would be immune to anyone else.
Especially annoying little ghouls who considered their little trickster fingers to be their only secret weapon.
Yes. Well. We'll start off easy. Only two of her tentacles rose up to tickle at his sides - like hell was she going to use her hands on his body. That would be weird.

Letting out a breath, Shun gritted his teeth as he tried to brace himself for what was to come. He was already a little tense as her tentacles rose up. The Reaper tried to prepare himself by not reacting... but that failed as he began to fidget and twitch from her touch. The corners of his lips twitched and waivered and that urge to laugh rose once more.
"Kuso.." he hissed while trying to fight against it.
That wasn't working out very well.

Her tentacles stilled, and she tried, really hard, not to laugh. Her face was twitching, but she kept all laughter internal. Once she'd composed herself, she offered this kernel of advice.
Try to remember that it's not a bad thing to laugh. If anything, allowing yourself to laugh when you're being tickled helps it to not be such a torture. You're letting yourself react audibly, so you can keep yourself focused physically.

When she relented, Shun doubled over for the moment to recollect himself. Straightening up, he grimaced once more.
"It's been ages since I've last laughed. It doesn't... feel right," he murmured. A part of him did feel like reality cracked a smidgen, or a lot, when he first burst out into laughter earlier on.

Riley heard an echo of her old self in his words. It didn't feel right to laugh. She laughed at the thought.
Then your true enemy isn't the attacker. It's yourself. You're putting too much power into the mere act of laughing. If you refrain from doing something that your body tries to get you to do, it is because you are inhibiting yourself.
And her tickles returned en force. Six tentacles ravaged his sides up and down. Laugh, reaper! Laugh!

Himself? That was a ludicrous thought. Well, at least that was what the felt at the time. Granted, he hasn't felt the need to laugh until he was tickled. Furrowing his brow, Shun had trouble seeing how he was inhibiting himself in any way. In any case, he didn't have too much time to think as the tentacles came at him full force.
Eyes widening as the ticklish sensation hit him, the Reaper squirmed. He was still trying to fight against the urge, but just as before he ended up bursting out into laughter.
Ugh, he could almost feel the fabric of reality cracking again here.

There now. She stepped forward a few steps, looking just a bit smug as she pressed her hand against his chest. Doesn't that feel good. Here? Doesn't it feel like a release of tension?

Taking in a deep breath as Riley paused to put a hand on his chest, Shun glanced down while grimacing.
"N-not.. really.. I don't think. It kinda hurts," he frowned. Then again, he wasn't focusing too much on the laughing. It was a little hard when those damn tentacles made him feel so twitchy. Even now, he was a little jittery because he was expecting them to start moving again at any moment.
"Don't really know how it feels."

Riley's smug expression dropped like a stone, as did her hand, and her tentacles.
I don't get you, Shun. She murmured quietly. I really don't.
She seemed vaguely disappointed in how difficult it was to break through whatever barriers the boil had put up for himself, and she suddenly found herself considering other methods. But not today. No, today was tickle day. And it was over.
Eh. I should be going, anyway. You uh.. She waved her hands at the crystals all over the floor. You might keeping that to yourself? I'd rather not get anyone needlessly worried.

Shun relaxed a bit as Riley's tentacles dropped away. How fitting that she said she didn't get him. Lately, he certainly didn't either. Something seemed to be going on through that head of hers, but he couldn't really tell what that was at all. When she motioned over to the crystals, he glanced to them for the moment, then turning back to her.
"As long as you do as well. I don't need people attacking me at random to test out if it's true or not," he frowned. Getting tickled was not fun. He decided this much.

Riley nodded her head swiftly at that. It's a deal. We'll just carry each other's secrets around. She patted him on the shoulder, and started to walk past him. I'll see you in class, Shun.
Of course, she couldn't help but sneak a tentacle around and tickle him one last time as she walked away.
Riley never did enjoy playing fair.

"..Thanks for trying to fix it anyway," he nodded quietly, ready to move on and try to forget this little incident to some extent. Though, Riley just had to tickle him one more time, causing him to have a little spasm in return. Shun quickly turned around to glare at the Mindflayer for that before grumbling and moving on his way.
