That couldnt have gone more according to plan if god had done it. Sanguine thought with a smirk as he flew towards the spot he had told Carbine to meet him. He landed and looked around. "It's me Carbine, its safe to come out."

Carbine then comes out of her hiding place and hugs him blushing and saying "Thank you for saving me. I don't think I would have made it through another experiment." She then lets him go and her bike comes over and stops in front of her trying to thank Sanquine as well.

Sanguine smiled "I was so tired of watching them constantly test and experiment on you." he said to her. "Come stay with me. I live in the city, its the safest place for you to hide." he said to her. Spreading his wings to take off again.

Carbine nods and follows him on her bike. Once they reach his home she puts her bike in the garage and covers it with a tarp no one would reconize it. She then follows him into his house and said "Thank you for having me in your home." She then sits on the couch with him and was looking alittle sd in her eyes.

Sanguine noticed the sad look in Carbine's eyes. "Whats wrong?" he asked her.

"It's nothing." SHe said not wanting to talk about it. It made her sad just to talk or think about it. The destruction she saw and the sight of her dead family was so tramatizing. Though she wouldn't admit what was wrong you could tell she was confused as to what to do now.

"I didnt really think of what to do once I got you out... My main concern was getting you out of there." Sanguine said to her. He really wasnt sure what to do with her. Being out in public alot would only draw the government to them.

Carbine then looks at him and said "I don't have a home to back to. It was destroyed along with my comrads, friends and family. I was looking for them when i was shot down here and taken to that government facility." SHe then looks down and wished she had been there to help.

"You can stay here for as long as you like." Sanguine said to her. He stood and went to the kitchen. "I'm sure you're still hungry, I'll make you something to eat."

Carbine nods and started to think that Sanquine was really nice for letting her stay at his home dispite the fact she was being hunted by the government. She then started to get butterflies in her belly and started to blush thinking about him. She shakes her head saying in her head he might already have a girlfriend. Besides why would he love me. We are too different.

Sanguine mixed up a few herbs and meats. Carbine is very beautiful, I doubt she would ever fall for me though... he thought. As he cooked he slowly let his tail flick back and forth idly.

Carbine could smell the food as he was cooking it. To her it smelled really good. She then looks at him blushing under her tan fur then leans back and thought He's so cute. I wish I could tell him how I feel and he would love me back. He's very nice. If only there was some way to show him.

Sanguine smiled as he cooked. He risked a glance at Carbine and then smiled. I've never seen a more beautiful woman....if only Theres was a way to show her how much i liked her. he thought as he mixed the dish some.

Carbine was looking out the window thinking about her old comrads and what had hapened. She and her boyfriend were the only ones left but sadly he went off on his own and she hads not heard from him since. Her il was in her lap as she figured she had better do what she could to fit in.

Sanguine mixed a few more things in and smiled There, let it simmer for about 10 minutes and it should be done. he thought to himself. He pulled a flask out of his jacket and took a swig then put it back.
