At the mention of a Yui Junko tilted her head. "Yui~?" She suddenly grinned and clapped her hands together under her chin. Oh my Jack! That was so cute! Did Merope have a ghoulfriend? Awwwwwwww! ..Wait. How would her ghoulfriend feel that he had become a she? Oh dear. This could be bad. Did Yui know?
...Oh...did Yui maybe...swing that way and...? I-it's okay! Junko wouldn't judge. Just...huh. Maybe? She wouldn't pry, it wasn't her business. But oh Jack did she want to know who Yui was! She'd never heard of Yui befo--oh. What if Yui was a boil? It's okay! It's okay. Junko would not judge. She would just let Merope tell her about Yui herself before she made any kinds of assumptions. Yup. Though Merope did seem to get a little sad there when talking about this mysterious stranger. Maybe things with Yui weren't the fairytale Junko had going through her head right now. Now she felt a little bad saying his or her name when Merope didn't seem very happy mentioning it herself.
The subject change was eagerly welcomed. Yay! Back to happy things! Her eyes seemed to glow brighter with her excitement. She love, love, loved playing with hair. "Oh, I'm more than happy to. There's so much you can do with long hair. The longer the better, I say!" As if that wasn't obvious enough. "You can braid it, wrap it, tie it, knot it, twist it..ohhhh this is so much fun!" Junko gestured for Merope to sit at the table and grabbed a mirror for her to hold while she worked, bristling with excitement. She got to play with someone's haaaaaaaair~!

“Yui,” Merope replied slowly, biting her half-lip as if undecided. It seemed that she was wrestling with something, and the sheer urge to tell someone and talk about it won out. “Yui is my ghoulfriend. Or was. I... I’m not sure anymore.” She slumped her shoulders, staring at the carpet. “I last saw her before prom... I asked her out. We had a couple dates, and when prom came... When prom came, she never showed up where we were going to meet. I walked around prom and tried to find her, but I haven’t been able to. I haven’t been able to find her anywhere. It’s like... She’s just. She’s just gone.”
She sighed, closing the eye that still could while the other exposed orb continued to stare ahead unblinkingly. “That’s... That’s one of the reasons why I want to get out of here. Just for a bit. It’s -” Merope broke off, raising her hands and shaking her head. “I-I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have unloaded on you like that. It’s just -- nevermind.” Merope buried her head in her hands, her glow muted with embarrassment.
Her embarrassment did not last long as she stood up, moving towards the chair to sit down. “I mean, if it’s not too much trouble, I can go,” Merope stammered, staring into the mirror as Junko began to work. “After you, er, show me a couple things I can do with this, that is. My hair. Yes.”
