He chuckled softly, stroking her cheek with his thumb. "Hero, eh? Only for you, Princess..."
He felt incredibly light headed, and like he was watching a movie. It was so damn cheesy, but he couldn't stop from saying it. His eyes continued to watch her softly and he smirked a little.
And then, before he could stop it, he kissed her sweetly. It was a tender kiss, not at all forceful, and with a hint of something else in it.
How the first one should have been, he thought offhandedly.

Odette felt like she had completely risen to the clouds, floating.
Merric's kiss was so much nicer this time...so much more wanted...
She returned it with a gentle passion, then pulled away, a smile on her face. It was a stupid, goofy smile. Like a child that had just been told that every day from now on would be Christmas.
"Now...now that was a Kiss, Mer..." She murmured, closing her eyes as she moved to rest her head on his chest. "That...completely made me lightheaded...but in a good way."
...A very good way.

He chuckled softly again and buried his face in her hair. Such a pleasant scent... She smelled sweet, like little daisies. It made him smile. He felt all funny and like he was floating. He wrapped his arms around her and rubbed her back.
"Floatin' is a good way to describe it, I think." He closed his eyes, just breathing in the smell of her hair and her in general, and the warmth of her.
It felt new... but good. Very good.

Floating. She made him feel like he was floating.
It took all of her will not to squeal like a schoolgirl freak again.
This was how life was supposed to be. This...this was perfect. There was no danger...no war, no senshi, no negaverse.
This was just complete perfection.
But...there was one question left...
"So...ah. We dating now?"

The question shocked him out of his floating, though he landed without a jarring sensation. Metaphorically. He turned over the idea in his head, and he really couldn't deny it, not have a kiss like that.
He pulled her face up level with his and kissed her on the cheek once. "I suppose we are, Odey," he said softly before kissing her on the mouth again.
His phone beeped abruptly and the moment was broken. "Ah... I suppose we should get going..." He felt reluctant to get to his duties... but he needed to...
Even if all he wanted to do was spend the rest of the evening with Odette.

Odette glanced at the ice cream shaped clock on the wall and nodded. "Yeah...I have to go as well. Remember, be safe, Mer."
Boyfriend.
He was her boyfriend.
...Why did she have to go do stupid Sailor Senshi stuff...
...BOYFRIEND.
"See you soon, call me!" She gave a smile, then kissed his cheek, before leaving the ice cream parlor, unable still, to stop smiling.
