Would you accept winning The Survivor instead? Sure nn;
Prompt Response: [His gf's name is Beth for this~]
Giving a glance towards the shining blue backdrop of my cell, I heaved a sigh. Should I call her? Should I send her a text?...Would she even reply? So many questions ran through my mind at that point, I just didn't know what to do anymore...
She must hate me now.
Pure and simple, she just had to. Even if it was her idea, I'm the one who took her to Lover's Lane that night, I couldn't protect her from that monster... now I was one too. I didn't even have the courage to look her in the eye the last few weeks.
Shaking my head sadly, I hesitantly picked up the cell and speed dialed Beth. Even if she never wanted to see me again, I had to tell her the truth.
"Beth, meet me at the park before sundown, ok?... I love you."

Waiting, waiting, waiting... It was almost sundown... where was she? I leaned back on the park bench with a frown. I had gotten my hopes of of her coming. Maybe it was for the best that she didn't come, it would be one less thing that would tear her apart... horrible phrasing there, but it was true.
I didn't mind being a werewolf, really. The first change was absolutely horrifying... but after a few nights, I could control it. Sure, I felt the need to bite the head off a rabbit or two, but otherwise, it was just like being me... kinda.. just bigger, hairier and more dangerous. I just needed to find a good way to explain that to Beth.
"Ethan?"
Jumping at the sound of my name, I quickly glanced towards Beth and gave her a smile. This was going to be beyond difficult. "Hey Beth, uhh, glad to see you came."
"Why wouldn't I have? Your voicemail sounded a bit... urgent." she gave me a look over, "Are you alright? Ever since the accident.." she gave a noticable shiver, "you haven't been able to talk to me."
She shouldn't be worried about me, she should be worried for herself..."Yeah, but I really needed to show you something," I said with a hesitant note, "But promise me something."
"Sure, whatever you need... what are you going to show me?"
"Before I show you...just remember I love you, ok? ... and don't. scream."
I gave a glance towards the sky, seeing that the sun was finally down and the sky was growing dark. Beth gave me a suspicious look but I quickly turned and hopped into the bushes, not wanting her to see my change.
"Ethan, of course and I love you too.. but scre-" At that point, I slowly came out of the bushes and she immediately paled.
That was when the scream pierced the evening air.

Later on, we laughed about it. She stayed still, and I just tried to smile at her through my changed muzzle. I stayed with her until she calmed down, then changed back and we talked... quite a bit... but she promised to stay with me, helping me find a way to change back...not that I mind the way that I am, but if it keeps her happy, that's all that matters.
