Jean said and hugged him before going to the girl.''Thats a beautiful name,Akiza.We promise that we'll keep you safe.You wont have to worry about those mean slave traders anymore.Would you like some food later? Id be happy to treat you to lunch or something.You can live with us too.We couldnt let you roam around lost.'' Jean said gently.

Akiza then smiles "Thank you mister." SHe said hugging him careful of her back. She then felt a familiar calming sensation she used to feel with her father.

Jean hugged Akiza carefully.This girl seemed very similar to his daughter.''My name is Jean.This is my brother,Adfaer." Jean said.Okami then whimpered."Jeany,feed me." he said."Alright." he said then looked at Akiza."Maybe one day,we can help end your fear of dogs.Not all dogs are mean and scary.Okami is a dog but he is very nice and would only hurt bad guys.'' Jean said then sat in a seat.He took out a turkey sandwich and handed it to Okami.Okami would dip his sandwich in Jean's soup.It was his favorite and Jean was a very good cook.He took out two boxed lunches.He gave one to Adfaer."I made your favorite,Adfaer-kun." Jean said then went to Akiza.''The nurse said you can eat.You can have some of my food.I have extra chopsticks and a spoon.I made rice,ramen and some soup.It so happened that I made chicken soup today.I can help you lean up so you can eat if you want." Jean said.He was worried that the girl might be hungry and hadnt had any food for awhile.

"Yes please." SHe said wincing as she stood up. Once she was up and he gave her the food she eats it and liked it. She was so tiny and frail looking. It was hard to see her like this. As she ate she was smiling for the first time in a long time. She felt safe around Jean and felt calm and happy. It was as if she had her father with her. She remembered when she was a baby her dad used to hold her and when she was taken by theives, who sold her for money and drugs, she had forgotten who she was. Her mother was the princess at the time and had left the throne to her brother after she was born. She often wondered who her mother and father were. That night Once everyone was gone Akiza could't sleep but wanted to meet her mother and father but had no idea where they were. ALl she remembered about them was the lullaby locket her father gave to her which she wore all the time. But she kept it in her pocket sicne it was too small to wear anymore. It was old and worn down but she loved it dearly. She then pulls it out and hugs it close with tears in her eyes crying silently. "Daddy i miss you." She said in a whisper. She then holds it close and opens it as the lullaby began to play softly.

Okami woke up.At first,it was to get a cup of water which he did but when he passed by Akiza's room,he heard Akiza crying and walked to her."Whats wrong,Akiza? Please dont cry." he said sleepily then wiped her tears away.

Adfaer stood there shooting targets in the basement of the house. It was his hobby and what made him such a sharp shooter. I became a gaurd after I almost died on a job....but I cant even use my skills as a gaurd... he thought to himself. He then thought about the girl at the hospital as he reloaded. He looked at jean who was sitting nearby. "That little girl, Akiza... reminds me of your own daughter, brother." he said to him. "How long ago was it that she was taken?"

Akiza hugs Okami and said "I just miss my daddy. My family... They- they were killed when I was taken from themby those men." She said crying into his fur. "I was... just a baby when it happened and I had been holding in so much pain and suffering ever since then. I just want to see them again." SHe said crying and still hugging Okami. She had tears streaming down her face as she did. She had so much pain and suffering inside her heart but all she wanted to do was to see her family again.

''Hmm,she would be five now so about three years ago.Akiza reminds me of her too.I guess thats why Im even more willing to help her.I still kinda feel terrible about it.I couldnt stop them from taking her.I wish I was stronger back then.Its a terrible feeling to see slave traders take your child from you and you cant stop them.I cant forgive them for that.When I fought those slave traders today,I fought harder then normal because of it.At least I saved June though.I still talk with her often.Being a guard brought me over here but June stayed in her town to take care of her grandparents.'' he said.''Im sorry,Akiza.We'll do our best to make you happy.Hey,where did you get that locket?'' he said and noticed that the people in the locket where June and Jean.

"my daddy gave it to me the day I was born." Akiza said looking at the locket not reconizing Jean since he had changed since that day. She then hugs it and said "I've been hiding it from the slave traders. It's very precious to me and the most valuable thing I own." She said closing it after the lullaby ended. "Daddy had it specally made for me as a baby and he gave it to me for my first birthday." She said sadly and looks down.

Adfaer's eyes widened. He stepped forward and placed his hand on his brothers shoulder. "Jean....You gave your daughter that locket didnt you?" He said to him. "I remeber because it was three days before I left for Europe."

''Thats Jean and June when they were younger.I remember because Jean use to visit me and make me food.When their little girl was taken,Jean got a new job as a guard and I went with him to be his partner.June stayed in there to take care of her grandparents.They still talk quite often and visit each other." "But if they are still aive then daddy should have reconized my aura right away. He can't be my father if he was he would have reconized me." She said then looks at Okami. The memories of ehr father and mother dying right in front of her eyes was plaing in her head. "Besides I saw them die right in front of me. Those slave traders killed them and took me away. They told me they were dead." She said in disbelief. She wain shock that her parents survived. SHe had been so scared with all those people looking at her and buying her as a slave then taking her back because she was so scared and wouldn't do anything. "If your right Okami lease take this to Jean and he should reconize it. He has one just like it." She said putting it on his collar and said "Please i really want to know for sure. This is very important to me but I trust you with it. Please take it to Jean and give it to him. Tell him to come here and tell me what happened." She then hugs Okami before he left and sits in the bed looking out the window. She hoped Okami was right. She didn't want to be alone anymore.

''Alright.Im lucky that everyone here just thinks Im cosplaying a dog.I'll be right back,promise." Okami said then went to Jean."Thats...Emma's locket.'' Jean said in awe that it was still in one piece.It still played the song but it suffered normal wear and tear so the song played weaker.Jean went with Okami to Akiza."Akiza,I want you to see something.'' Jean said then took out a locket,the same as the one Akiza had although very well kept since he kept repairing it when needed.He then took out a picture of Akiza with him and June but instead of her hair being in pigtails,her hair was down.He handed the picture to her.''Akiza,if that is your locket then your real name is Emma Takagi.Im your father and Adfaer is your uncle.Your mother is June Takagi and she just so happens to be visiting me tomorrow.When you were taken away from us,the slave traders shot me.They fired at your mother but I took the bullet for her so she wouldnt get hurt.When they had left,your mom took me to the hospital and they took the bullet out of my arm and after about a week,I was fine but we always cried and worried about you.Im so relived that your alright,Emma-chan.I'll never let anyone take you from me again.I promise.'' Jean said and hugged her carefully.
