"I could show it off a bit for you, sure." Mot smiled with a nod. He enjoyed writing, and if a small note with his handwriting would please a ghoul, so be it. Despite being a ghost, the ghoul was pleasant company.
"My favorite colour is Blood Red." Mot answered. "I don't wear much colour, but I do like that one."

Lattice nodded, "Excellent. I look forward to seeing your skill at work." She liked looking at how others wrote with ink and what all they did with it. It was a rather fascinating thing for her.
"Hm! Alright, thank you very much for that information," Lattice replied as she picked up a bit of the special tinting dye for the ink as well as a couple of other ones. Once she was certain she had everything she wanted she turned toward him, "I believe it is time to pay," she told him in a surprisingly chipper tone.
Lattice obviously had a plan in store for Mot.

Was it good or worrisome that Mot was oblivious to Lattice's plans? She seemed rather innocent in her intentions, so it was difficult to pick up on it.
Mot nodded, looking down in his hands. Right. He hadn't gotten ink. Lattice was going to make him some. Well, in the meantime it would be good to get some for backup anyway. Mot grabbed a small vile of regular ink, as well as a bundle of parchment, bringing his things up to the counter.
And then came Sneak!Mot.
When Lattice moved her things onto the counter, Mot slipped in front of her and offered the needed seeds to the cashier. "We're together~."

Lattice had anticipated paying for her own things while her little plan boiled around in her mind for all she planned to make for Mot as a gift and just because she could. Friends gave each other gifts after all or so she was under the impression of that. The ghoul set her things down on the counter stepped back with a blink behind her mask as Mot stepped forward in front of her.
...Flabbergasted was probably a best term for the emotion that welled up with in her. Quietly she poked at Mot's shoulder blade, "What are you doing, Mot?" she asked seeming confused and suddenly the words came out of his mouth and she froze
"You don't have t--," It was too late things were paid for and packaged up in neat little bags. Lightly she nudged at his shoulder with his finger as if to gently shove him, "bully," she sulked yet sounding a little playful.

Did not have to do it, he did not. But he did it anyway. No stopping him.
It was done.
Mot smirked playfully as the ghoul poke-shoved him with her finger. Oh yes, he was ever so intimidated. "Oh well~. I suppose you'll have to be quicker about it next time." Behind it all, he had done this since Lattice was going to be making him some ink. She didn't ask him to pay, but he wanted to. It wasn't something he did too often, since he was not well off in the least.

She sulked a moment more as she took a moment to fish Mot's ink out of the bag that he had purchased and offered it to him with her sulking face changing into a small smile of gratitude, "Yes, I shall keep that in mind. Thank you for your kindness, Mot."
There was a small pause as she murmured, "I'll deliver your ink soon. Then you can show me your penmanship and maybe we could have some tea together?" She asked quietly. It was a plan for a simple visit and probably showering him with gifts for his kindness, "I...remember where your room is so no worries about that."
Shame. She has it.

"Not a problem, little lady." Mot said with a little charm and a fond grin.
Mot chuckled lightly. Ah yes, she would know where it is now, wouldn't she. "That sounds like a lovely idea. I do enjoy tea once in a while." He usually preferred coffee. Either was fine. The reaper took his own things and held open the door for the sight challenged ghoul.
"You can stop by any time, Lattice."

She bowed slightly to Mot, "Consider it a day well planned," Lattice replied simply with a small smile upon her lips. The Engraver let him take his things before she moved to the door with him. Patiently she paused and allowed him to open the door before she moved out; she paused and looked back at him, "Thank you. I shall take advantage of that," she promised with a hint of teasing.
Obviously she was feeling more comfortable with him now.
Lattice looked around to get her bearings before she uttered, "I shall meet with you again soon," and then walked off.

Mot laughed, quite enjoying that Lattice seemed comfortable enough to tease him ever so slightly.
Mot nodded, giving the ghoul a wave. "Have a safe walk back." With that, Mot turned in the opposite direction. He felt good he was able to meet the ghoul in a different setting, and in a better mood. It was terrible to leave her with an impression that he didn't enjoy company.
