Kayla smiled and kissed him back "Thank you Cody, you're so kind." She said responding to the compliment looking back up at him "The funny thing is, I don't know why but ever since you bought this for me I just couuld never take it off. Not that I would've actually wanted to take it off but i'm just glad you got me this." Kayla added and soon saw the park up the block "How about we go to the park?" Kayla suggested.

Cody smiled when she said that, he smiled, he gently looked at it but smiled, "I am glad that you like it my love." He said kindly, to him, it seemed as if the sun was shining off of it but it was the amulet glowing softly. He looked at the park as they got closer to it but then nodded, "Sure, sounds nice." he said walking to the park with her.

Kayla leaned against his shoulder as they walked to the park, once there she quided him over to a fairly large tree where she then sat up against. There were lots of people out at the park playing with friends and with their children out in the mild spring weather, Kayla thought it would be nice just to rest for the day since she had to go back to morning classes tomorrow.

Cody walked with her as she leaned against him but he smiled as they got to the tree, he was happy to be with her and as he looked around, it seemed interesting as he looked at the clear sky but he looked at her happily, "I am glad that we got to have this time together... today is just so nice." He said happily to her.

Kayla kissed his cheek "Anytime babe" she said and lightly held his arm sitting with him a while she then leaned to cuddle with him "So what are your plans for this week Cody?" Kayla asked him wanting to see when they could hang out again.

Cody looked at her when she kissed his cheek but then thought about it as she cuddled close to him, "Not much... I really don't have much going on this week." He said softly.

Kayla smiled hearing that he would be free for the majoriy of the week "That sounds good, if you want we can hang-" Kayla was then startled a bit when something brushed up against her side. Looking over she saw that it was a neighborhood cat, it struck her as odd for a moment as she looked down at it "Awww, arent you just so adorable" Kayla commented and whent to pet the cat.

Cody looked at her when she said that but then when he noticed the cat, he thought about how it was a bit random but the amulet glowed a bit but Cody thought it was glare when he noticed as the amulet began to change her a bit as the magic finally got a hold of her spirit.

Petting the cat she had no clue that she was changing. The other unusual thing that Kayla had noticed was that seeming to come out from nowhere a couple more cats had come over, atleast five of them now were rubbing up against her. Not knowing what to think about this odd situation unknowingly her hair was slowly fading a light pink color almost like she had highlights in her hair now.

Cody saw more cats coming to her but then when her hair seemed to fade to a lighter pink, he looked at her curiously, "Um... did you highlight your hair?" He asked confused as her hair changed a bit.

Kayla turned her head to face him with a puzzled look "Hm?...No, I didn't put highlights in my hair..why do you ask?" Kayla answered and pulled her hair infront of her to take a look she noticed the slight color change but thought it was just her hair getting lighter since it was spring. Putting her hand back down the roots of her hair started to fade completely white and it satrted to continue changing down the rest of her hair. Still Kayla was completely unaware of these slight changes.

Cody looked at her but then watched as her hair soon changed from pink to white where her scalp was but as it changed, it changed till only the end of her hair remained pink. Cody was confused but then tried thinking about it, "Are you sure that your not doing anything... your hair is turning white!?" He said as he looked at her head.

Kayla sighed from disbelief "What are you talking about my hair is-...." She pulled her hair forward again and then froze wondering how this might have happened "...M-my hair is White!?!?" Kayla stood up and continued to grab locks of hair and examined them in shock "How did this happen?" She asked puzzled, she then noticed her vision got blurry for a moment. Also having a quick feeling of light headedness she shook her head, looking back up at Cody her eyes then faded from blue to a creamy pink. "What's going on?" Kayla asked him just out of fear since she could not explain why her hair was changed. The cats were still crowding around Kayla.

Cody looked at her when she looked at her hair but then he shook his head, "I don't know... but I think that we should get you home." He said getting up and gently walking over to her as he gently helped her to her feet and began to walk home with her.
