It sort of reminded her of how her brother teased her and made fun of her height when her parents were still alive. Though it annoyed her, she really did miss it. She missed a lot of things. Smile still on her face despite her current thoughts, "Thanks again, that's really nice of you two."
Once Ken had spoke, she looked at him, listening, and noticing the slight hint of anger. She tilted her head, her smile fading slowly, but she wasn't mad, it was more of a thoughtful look. He had gotten to the room first? She started to feel a bit bad; the last thing she wanted to be was a burden. She didn't mind sharing a room, she just hoped it wouldn't be awkward. "There's no need for a fight," she began, "I mean.. I don't mind sharing a room." she smiled reassuringly.

"I do. I mind sharing." James raised his hand quickly. "Uh. Not with you, Ken, but I mind sharing with her. My mother will paddle my a**, I swear on the Goddess." There, the reason was finally out. He was afraid of his mother, Goddess help him.
"I'm not joking. She's one of the teachers, and if she finds out I didn't make sure she has that room, she'll turn me into a stoat. Do you even know what a stoat is? I don't, and I don't want to find out either." He held up both of his hands in front of his chest and shook his head.
"No thank you. So please, miss Blake, take the room." He smiled at her again, although this time it was almost pleadingly. "Please. My continued humanity very likely relies on it."
"And, we're not fighting. Who's fighting? I'm not." He smiled, and gestured toward the room.
"You should probably set your stuff up. If you need any help, just ask."
He paused, and looked over at Ken.
"She'll probably tear a strip off you, too. My mom, I mean. Prob'ly give us both detention scrubbing the bathrooms with our little stoat tails." Did stoats have tails? He had no idea. Nor did he care.

"I can take a professor. But I don't fight girls." Ken was being honest he wouldn't fight a girl unless he had no choice. "You can keep the room. It's fine. I just don't want to walk in on anything if I come to visit." He grinned and wink before he dropped the bag and walked away. He walked to James and gave him a friendly punch in the shoulder before walking back in to the room looking through his things.

Victoria nodded once in understanding. "Gotcha!" she smiled, "For your humanities I'll take the one bedroom." she chuckled lightly, and smiled before walking into her new room.
"Oh, Ha. Ha." she smirked, responding Ken, and then unzipped her bag, "Thanks for moving my bag for me." she thanked him once more as he walked out, and she took out her wand. "Let's be done with this tedious packing." she mumbled to herself, finally having the sense to just use her magic to get done with this job.
She went to the door, "I'll be in here while I unpack. If you need anything just knock." she gave them one last smile before closing the door and turning to her bag. "Alrighty." she mumbled, and then began chanting the spell quietly, raising her wand up, and her clothes started to come out of her bag. They were nice and folded, and she walked to the drawer, opening it before putting her clothes in. Unfortunately, she couldn't move to things at once with her magic, so she continued this until everything in her bag was empty, and all her things were put away.
"Okay, one more thing." she reached into her bag, purposely leaving that one thing inside. She took out a picture frame, and placed it on the nightstand beside the bed.
"There." she smiled. "All done."

Ken stared at james and tried not to laugh. "Wait wait wait. You mean to tell me. Your mom works here?" Ken started laughing. "And she'll spank you? Wow dude no wonder you're like this." Ken sat up and tried to stop laughing. "Wait wouldn't it be weird if your mom was teaching one of your classes? What if you failed? You're in a lose lose situation my friend. If you pass her class people would hate you. But if you fail your mom would probably be upset with you." Ken said" I do not envy you my friend."

James scowled at the floor, clearly sulking.
"Welcome to the misery that is my existence. And, yes, she works here. She's teaching one of the magic classes. I don't know which one." He eyed Ken, almost dangerously, and added in a deadly voice.
"If you get her, I swear to my goddess, man, one word about her looks and I'll have to feed you your intestines."
There was nothing, absolutely nothing more weird than hearing someone your own age mention how hot your mom was. Not even walking in on his parents having sex rivaled that, in his opinion.
He shuddered just thinking about it.
"It's not funny, dude, it's horrible. I can't get away with anything anymore." He was whining, and he freely admitted that as he skulked over to the couch and dropped down onto it. He sighed, then looked back at Ken.
"Anyways...you never got a chance to answer my question. What're you majoring in? Or, is that a secret?"

Ken chuckled and rolled up his sleeves. "Im majoring in magic." He said making electricity appear in his hand. "Maybe learn some evasive moves and learn how to use some weapons." Ken said sitting on the couch. "But hey, what does your mom look like anyway? Id expect an old hag. But the way you made her sound im starting to think she's quite a looker." Ken said

"Wish I could tell you she was an old hag, but she's not. Red hair, brown eyes. Kinda short, slim, usually dresses....not like a mom." He shrugged, not really wanting to go into the details about his mother's appearance. "I dunno. You may've seen her if you've got any interest in music at all. She accompanies my dad to all the award shows." He shrugged, then looked over at his stack of CD's.
"...And if you're any sort of a fan of Body Contact? You've seen her tits." His face went dark like a thundercloud, and he tapped one of the CD cases. "Sixth CD cover, special edition. Holographic insert. Dad thought it'd be funny to use a picture of mom's chest. Ugh. I didn't go into music stores for weeks after that." He shuddered, curling his lip up.
"Can we, like, not talk about this? At all? Ugh. Gonna give me nightmares."

Ken just stared at the cd cover while james kept talking. "Never heard of body contact but im loving this album cover.....I...want...to meet you mom." Ken said as he kept looking at the cover. "But hey it could be worse.....I can't think of anything right now but it'll come to me later." Ken couldn't take his eyes off of it. "But you can't talk about whatever you want my friend......any....thing." He was officially distracted.

James jerked the CD down, face red as he stuffed it back into his backpack.
"I'm sure she'll kick your a** in class. And you are SO lucky she's here, or I'd feed you that CD cover." He said hotly, burying his face in a pillow as if that would make the blushing go away. Ugh, curse his fat mouth. And why did he show that to him?
Clearly, he was a self sadist. A sucker for punishment.
Another word for it would be moron. But, whatever.
"I think I'm gonna just sit here and try and erase that ever happening from my memory. And a word to the wise, if I ever catch you with tissue and that CD, hang the fact that my mom's here, I will not hesitate to murder your face." He announced through his pillow shield. "God. Creepy. Ew. How would you like it if I got all drooly over your mum?"

"Hey hey hey relax. Don't worry I wouldn't do that to a friends mom. Just to people daughters that are 18 and up" He joked "And if somebody did that to my mom, lets just say they'd never do that again.....ever." His tone was serious for the first time. "But anyway thats just a little something I would do."
He stretched out and yawned causing static to come from his mouth. "Damn I'm bored. when does class start anyway? I can't wait to learn some new s**t." Ken looked out the window and saw other students walking around.

She walked out of the room "All finished!" she said with a smile before going to the kitchen and getting a glass of water. She brought it with her to the living room and took a sip before setting it on the coffee table. She let herself fall into a sofa opposite from them, keeping a hand on her hat so it wouldn't fly off.
"Hey hey, what major do you two have?" she asked with a smile, looking up from the paper after seeing that she had gotten what she had planned on getting, "I have Magics and Weaponry."

"Ditto." Ken said turning away format he window. "Maybe we'll have the same classes." He smiled and sat on the sofa. He held his hand out and cased the remote to fly to him. "Oh magnetism a slackers best friend." He said as he clicked on the remote and turned on the television. "I'm thinking about taking up knife and gun fighting too so that way I can use my magnetism more." He thought about it for a while a pictured himself curving a bullet. "Awesome." Ken said to himself.

[[Oh, it would be nice if the work ended on Friday. .___. On my first day to one of my classes, we got a major assignment given to us. I have to stay in the studio all day Saturday, to get any headway on it. Boo.]]
"I majored in Art and Music, but I'm taking a lot of magic classes." James replied, looking over at Victoria. "Mum wanted me to major in magic, but me'n Dad're pretty persuasive when we want to be." he chuckled quietly. "If it's not too much, I might see if I can take a double major. Can you imagine how awesome it would be to use my illusions at a gig?" A wide grin split James's freckled face as he rolled over on his side, gesturing his hand through the air slowly. "Even if I weren't the one playing. It'd be better'n any pyrotechnics! Less danger for the guys on stage, and more flair, too!" He seemed excited about the prospect.
"How about you, Victoria?" He let his hand fall to his side again, smiling. "Have you got anything specific you'd like to do..?"

She's never met anyone else with gifted abilities before, so a lot of this was a bit new to her. She looked beside her in James's direction as he spoke, listening to what he was saying. She came to the assumption that he could create illusions, and smiled as she pictured something like he was saying. The crowd would absolutely go wild.
At the question, she brought her attention back to James, "Well, I might be going into a witchcraft class, as well as geomancy." she smiled, "Though, I have to say, it was a bit difficult to chose. So many interesting classes in the one major." she said, looking at Jame's with a smile, "That'd be pretty interesting if we were able to take two majors; more variety, though it kinda sounds like a lot of work would come ahead."
