smile now that I know what your doing I wont be all like O.o. You stuff with A Khajiit is hilarious M'aiq is hands down one of my most favoritest characters. In a way Beth use's him to "troll" the user's with rumors of things they wished the game had but didn't put into the game. I can't wait to find him in Skyrim and find out what new rumors he knows.

Did you ever play Mass Effect and get to the romance parts of the game? If not just check out youtube I'm sure you'll be able to find the videos. Those "sex" scenes where shot like what you would see in a light R rated movie. You don't get to see the "goodies" maybe a short glimpse of someones butt a side boob, but that's all.

You know, I hope they don't follow in Bioware's footsteps regarding this. The Liara scene was actually rather tasteful...but the Dragon Age ones? I'm fairly sure I wasn't supposed to be laughing as hard as I was during them. So. Awkward.

I wouldn't mind fade to black really. People always complain/want the sex scenes...but they always seem to forget the children don't just poof into their cradles, if you know what I mean :] I could do with that being fade to black as well.

I never played Dragon Age so I'm not sure what those were like. In truth I really don't care one way or another if a scene of the "deed" being done is included. Fable does the "deed" scene well enough cut to black and here them going ohh aww oh ya with each other and then cut back to the characters standing next to each other, or having one of both getting up from the bed something like that might work.

As for babies well, most people DON'T want to see that happen, there are all for the act of making the baby but not the actual arrival.

Fable does the "deed" scene well enough cut to black and here them going ohh aww oh ya with each other and then cut back to the characters standing next to each other, or having one of both getting up from the bed something like that might work.

As for babies well, most people DON'T want to see that happen, there are all for the act of making the baby but not the actual arrival.

Just let me say I don't know how there is such a difference between DA and ME. I really don't. I just find the massive hoopla over sex scenes (not necessarily meaning here) in well, anything, irritating. I don't get the desire to have them in everything or the desire to not have them at all...I find it sort of ridiculous. They're not the point (usually, mind) of the media so why do we care so damn much? Choice just doesn't cut it. There are a lot of things not or rarely included that don't get this much attention.

I was following the line of, you want to see the sex scenes, which, when heterosexual, sometimes make babies and there are also babies in the game so...well, if you want to be realistic in gritty detail in your games you better be sure to go all the way. Or quit telling me your games are oh so very realistic and then getting offended at me when I laugh and laugh and laugh...

Anyway, if I'm getting too meta here, just tell me and I'll stop. I like to think about a lot of things but sometimes forget not everyone is like that ;p

Guess the main difference is one is "Fantasy" the other is "Sci-fi" -shrugs-

Well all this hoopla is from at least the American perspective that nudity/sex is the devil, its all that left over Puritanism crap. That is some special holy act that's only to be used at certain times.

For example the whole Superbowl and Janet Jackson's costume malfunction that caused her to slip a n****e out on national prime-time tv. People lost their god damn minds over what turned out to be like 5 secs of flesh before it got covered up. It's quite alright to see people blow each other away and curse like a sailor but god forbid someone slip a n****e.

I'm not really worried about what Beth will include in there game regarding sex and babies. I'm actually waiting for the holy than thou news stations and parents to jump on the Skyrim is a children murdering simulator. But I'm guessing Beth knows this and will prolly make those kids that are in the game non-killable.

I know the background to it...it's more a, oh I don't know, maybe I've just gotten to the point where it's just sex and I don't attach all these stigmas and expected behaviors to it or something. It's hard for me to understand at times why I don't really get things, exactly.

Though with the n****e example you really do have to say women's nipples because guys are seen all the time without their shirts on and no problem - and this is true in a lot of areas where it is never true for a lady unless you're at a nudist beach. Sort of have to wonder what the issue is there but eh.

Or the alcohol xD

Since I tend to look at things from the more scientific prospective, I see sex as just another biological function. Nothing really more than continuing the species, not that we really need to add to the population, but that's a topic of a different discussion.

That's what I meant when I said n****e slips, -rolls eyes- It's just another one of those double standards our society has. I know don't really see the big deal, just bags of fat needed to feed babies.

Since I tend to look at things from the more scientific prospective, I see sex as just another biological function. Nothing really more than continuing the species, not that we really need to add to the population, but that's a topic of a different discussion.

No no no no I wasn't being snappish at you. The eye roll was intended to be toward the double standards we have not at you. I'm sorry if you thought that aimed at you. Guess I should have put the eye rolls at the end of the double standard sentence.

Don't worry about derailing the topic, the talk of babies and relationships in games, can lead to an actual talk about sex and nudity and its place in video games. Its not like this was a lore topic, the story from IGN basically ignored the set lore for breeding in TES, they wouldn't have been half and half like that.
