Garnet hadn't been expecting it, to be randomly teleported out of ******** nowhere into...a...destroyed room. And in the room was a bir--oh, it was a person. Or a monster. A monster bird person thing. She made a slight face at that, flipping a bit of her hair over her shoulder and raising a brow. The General-Queen, right...
Bird brain. With scales. And a claw. Ugh. She looked so disgusting.
Losing the war? But how? Her hands rested on her hips and she leaned her weight into one foot, looking from one general to another as they pointed out why the General-Queen was either awesome or wrong. She rolled her eyes, raising a hand to check her nails. It was then that she heard a familiar sigh and a muttering beside her, giving a curious little hum and glancing to one side to see who it was. Ah! Hematine~. How delightful! "If it is, we should charge admission. We'd make a killing." She answered quietly, grinning.

Azurite was firmly, totally, out of her milieu. This was the place that Alkaid had told her about in that first meeting of the corrupt senshi not long after she had joined their ranks. Not corrupt senshi...magical soldiers of the Negaverse. It was a mental correction that the ivory-haired young woman was using to distinguish herself from the unenlightened senshi of the White Moon. It really wasn't their fault that they didn't know they were doing wrong and fighting the Negaverse.
She was simply convinced that it was ridiculous to punish those who had seen the light for the crimes of those who had not. So those same disdainful looks that turned Alunite's eyes down were returned with almost doe-eyed complacency on her part. Disdain was, if not accepted, at least tolerated. Besides, it wasn't as if any of them held even a third of the ire that her current direct superior held. General Hematite was leaning against a wall looking for all the world like this was a boring dinner party that he'd ben forced to attend, some useless formality and that Tanzanite was talking about the colors she'd like to repaint the entire Rift.
Perhaps pink? No, blue.
It piqued her enough to move towards him cautiously, hands running along the fur at her shoulders in a nervous motion. "You don't seem very concerned. Should I worry more or less?" Probably the safest question.

This was not the first time Fukalite had been summoned, but she had yet to acclimate to the notion that yes—she could be teleported to the Negaspace at a moment’s notice. Fortunately, she no longer suffered the shocked disorientation of being sucked away, but unfortunately she had been having a rather enjoyable time at a party. She reluctantly hid her scowl with one hand while she delicately placed the other on her hip. Fukalite wasn’t absolutely clear on what happened to those unhappy about the organization, however minor this one instance was, but she wasn’t ready to find out.
Balancing on the tip of her toes, she peered above the many heads to briefly observe the woman at the front of the crowd—General-Queen Tanzanite. Fukalite vaguely wondered if she spent most of her time in the Negaspace, since she did look unnatural. In fact, she was supposed to be part youma, correct? A few moments were enough to fill her mild intrigue and the lieutenant soon focused her attention on searching through the crowd for a familiar face. Eyes lit up with glee when she spotted Dahlia. A grin made its way to her lips as she snaked past others until she was finally by the cat’s side. “Why hello there,” she greeted, quickly turning her head toward Tanzanite as she announced her grim news.
Similarly to Dahlia’s, Fukalite was not overcome with indignation. She admitted disappointment, but all she could do was shrug and mutter, “I suppose we’ll just have to try harder or something, eh?”

This wasn't the first or even second time Chromite had been to such a meeting. Three times now that pull in her gut had been the only warning before she was teleported into the Negaspace. Twice now it was directly into the rift. Every single time it never truly bore good tidings. Stepping as close to the front as she could without forcing her way past any of the captains or generals, she held her plum eyes on Youma-Queen Tanzanite. Daring even to blink as the tallest woman in the world spoke, she barely gasped in surprise as they were told the gravest of news.
We are losing this war.
But really-- When weren't they losing anymore? There were always small victories, but it shouldn't have been surprising to learn that still those damned goody-toe-shoes and the poor, mislead, knights always had the upper hand. Somehow. She wasn't bitter towards the General-Queens, she wasn't bitter towards their Queen, and in fact she wasn't entirely bitter towards those they fought against... If anyone was to blame, she felt it was to be her. She wasn't trying hard enough. Doing her all to hold back tears, Chromite stood in middle of the throng and merely watched.
As another soldiear nearby muttered a barely audible "try harder" the blonde clenched her fists and jaw tight. "I will try harder," she whispered with vehemence. "I will do better."

General Painite heard others speaking, no one keen on this idea of losing. Or even that the idea itself was being presented. She nodded at Uranophane's words.
She saw Bazzite, one of the Lieutenants she privately referred to as 'her boys'. And there was poor Fluorite, still looking a little raw from her personal ordeal. She saw Alunite, Lyra, Corrupted Senshi working on their side, members of their team. She heard Osumilite, shaking her head at his attitude. At least he was consistent, and his bravado wasn't just for the TV. Here, at least, she almost liked it.
A smile reached her face as Zanazziite came into her view. Her first Lieutenant, her good friend. They hadn't seen enough of each other recently, and that was a shame. She patted Zanazziite's arm when she was within reach, silently acknowledging that they needed to catch up. Her attention was then drawn by Jarosite, and she wondered how he was holding up. Getting pulled to the Negaverse was not the funnest of experiences, and this was his first meeting, just days after his corruption.
Overwhelming was probably an understatement.
"Welcome to the Rift, Jarosite," she said quietly, smiling reassuringly at him. For herself, she felt reassured by the familiar faces, her friends and rivals alike. Whether they got along or not, they still came together when they needed to, and it seemed now was just that kind of a time.
She looked around at the others, though she knew that every single member of the Negaverse available to them would be there. Still, she wanted to keep track of the ones she knew well, particularly her minions. Lieutenants. The air was very tense, and Painite shifted a bit, her focus returning once more to Tanzanite.

Zinkenite’s hand brushed lightly against Lyra’s arm, very discrete it could easily have been missed or passed off as an accident. He said no words to assure her but he’d made the gesture all the same. His mind already heavy with everything that needed to be done, the added weight of the grumblings and statements weren’t improving his almost sullen mood.
He turned slightly to scan over the other faces, some more familiar than others. “Alunite…” He murmured as the other sat down close to him and shortly after “Carnelian…”
His eyes narrowed slightly at the question from Carnelian though, just enough to suggest that implying that the General Queen was lying was likely a bad idea. “I suspect if we wait, she’ll explain the reason for the statement. I’m not inclined to argue it however… we’re outnumbered and grow more so every day. It’s a matter of time before what has been a series of stalemates turns into unquestionable defeat by sheer numbers.”
The words were quiet so they wouldn’t interrupt other conversations but firm enough that he could be at least heard by those close enough and paying attention.
The idea of allies though was an interesting one. One couldn’t hide a future partner under a blanket though, could you? He gave a prolonged stare at the enshrouded object as though he could peel away the covering with nothing more than his pointed gaze.
Azurite got an interested look though, he had not yet met her, or even heard much about her, and her question made him laugh softly though he doubted it would be well received by Hematite. He left his gaze on her just long enough to see she noticed and offered her a friendlier nod than others might have. Soldiers in this war were soldiers; Senshi who joined them offered unique skills he was always interested in putting to use.

"Hello darling" Dahlia responded with a soft rattling purr in her tone as the familiar Fukalite found her, and she butted her head gently against the girl's leg affectionately. With a familiar face around she was happy to linger for a little while.
It was encouraging to hear the voices around her.. pledging personal responsibility and a desire to fix it.. not simply pushing the blame elsewhere. Hopefully they were not simply words, that the agents would truly act upon their pledges. Her dual colored eyes touched Chromite for a moment as she heard her words, before trying to once more see through the sea of people towards the General Queen.

Looking up out of the corner of her eye, Lyra acknowledged the touch with the shallowest of nods. She knew he was very odd with touch most of the time, so this was her own way of greeting him as her eyes stayed on their general queen.
She could feel the Auras of the other two fellow corrupted senshi a moment before they arrived close to her. Turning around, trying to whip no one with her hair, she gave Alunite and Carnelian a welcoming smile. It faded around the edges a little at question, but zink seemed to handle it well enough. "If we do not believe in our leaders then what do we? I trust Tanzanite." She added in herself, before she spotted a all to familiar form in the crowd.
Eyes suddenly twinkling Lyra moved through the crowd, as gracefully as she could, scooped the bundle in to her arms... and made her way back towards where she was standing a moment ago. Upon further inspection, if anyone looked, they would see the form of a feline in her arms. Scritching behind the cats ear, Lyra looked down at the cat she met once before. "I dont believe i ever caught your name?" Oh wonders of the negaverse, they had talking cats. She could address the feline without needing to look for a name tag. Of course, she had Dahlia in her arms.
She always felt drawn to the cats, just... something about them made the senshi want to seek them out and hold them close. It was sort of like how she felt with her fellow corrupted senshi.
Looking over her shoulder, she peered once more at carnelian. "Besides... she really has no reason to lie to us."

Wolframite was staring with focused intensity at Tanzanite, almost holding his breath before the waiting took too long and he inhaled deeply. This wasn't the time for them to all to panic. Tanzanite hadn't called them to a meeting to work them all up. If it was just a matter of gaining more energy, they would have risen the quota long ago, but that wasn't it. It seemed no matter how much fuel they gathered, their little steam engine of war wasn't cutting it. Zinkenite was right, but it had been old news. The senshi outnumbered them before, but that hadn't been the issue....or were they now just growing in number all that much more to the point of great concern? Of course no one knew what the current status of the war was. They fought and fought, patrolled and took energy, but it wasn't like progress reports could be easily printed up and posted in the Negaverse Kingdom whenever you wanted to get a clear, black and white idea of what was going on. This wasn't sports - with a score clear as day for all to get the idea of who was winning. You had to calculate numbers, deaths, winning battles and losses, injuries that took others out of commission for a while or damaged them forever, and also energy and youma loss and gain. It was a complex web and he was no mathematician to write up the statistics. If anyone could give them a idea of what was going on, it was Tanzanite, and to hear whispers that what Tanzanite was saying was a joke only pissed him off.
"Tanzanite doesn't lie." He said, eyes shooting out to find the group who would even think to debate this topic. The general's eyes narrowed on them, stating what he said as a absolute fact that was not up for discussion. "If we are loosing, we are loosing, and that means we're all responsible for the failure. It means we're also responsible for getting back on track." He couldn't loose when he had sacrificed so much for this cause.

One minute he was getting out of his car, heading toward the front door of his home, and the next he was in the rift; never mind the change in clothing. Who had called him here? And better yet, how?He could only imagine what it took for someone to summon him here, and all these other people.
Nervous, why were so many people here? Benitoite made his way about the crowd, looking for familiar faces. Something told him he didn't wish to stand around those he didn't know, it was just a feeling welling up inside his stomach and he was inclined to follow that feeling. Walking on the balls of his feet, wanting to be as quite as possible.
Those words We are losing this war. washed over him, snatching his attention away from his search. They were losing? But how? How could this be remedied? He wasn't a fan of losing much less losing this war. Shaking his head, ever so slightly, they couldn't lose this war. It wasn't something which could be allowed, they had to win. It sounded like the person speaking had a plan, those words though only increased his nervousness. He didn't like how those words sounded, what could they mean? He knew whatever it was he'd agree to, if it won this war he would agree to it. Even if he didn't like it, he was beginning to understand that he would sacrifice a lot in this war.
His search for someone familiar increased until he found someone, Painite. Moving over to stand at her side he cast something of a small and nervous smile her way. He didn't speak, he didn't think it prudent to do so, what could he say anyway?
Instead of speaking he listened, silently, he listened to others speak and offer to do more, do better. He silently agreed. He would do better, do more, he had to. He needed to help and do more for the cause. He would find some way to better help the Negaverse, he just had to. Now he waited to see what was planned, how they could turn the tide in their favor. Benitoite didn't even notice when he bottom lip was taken by his teeth and held by his teeth, not a nervous habit or any sort of habit. It was just an action right now, who knows if it would become something of a habit later on.

There had been a day where every soldier would have bent their knee immediately upon arrival. They would have stared in silence at the floor, wary of the wrath of their former General-King or the Queen who had once been his obsession. Had Bismuthite chosen to leave in those days, he would have been dragged back by the scruff of his neck, and punished for the audacity of having a life of his own. Days where the corrupted senshi were to be seen and never heard, trophies of their victory. Where Bazzite would have been screamed at until he was deaf and then backhanded halfway across the room.
Such days seems gone, but as Tanzanite watched Garnet and Hematine quietly whisper and smile, she seemed less than certain it was entirely for the better.
“Lieutenants Hematine. Garnet. It seems you have opinions you would like to share with the rest of our officers. Would you like to take the lead in explaining how the Zodiac Guard is at this very moment attempting to cut us off from our single greatest chance at ending this fight?"
There was nothing motherly about her tone, as cold and hard as the dilapidated stone that surrounded them.
“Please, continue,” she tilted her head slightly, her expression expectant, “We will all wait while Chronos and her Guard build their wall around our solar system, keeping out the very power that enables us to fight. But please,” she stepped aside, and extended that clawed hand out towards the dais, “Feel free to come up here and tell me what you find so god damned entertaining about what I just said.”

It was often said 'when it rained, it poured' and Dahlia was currently getting washed away in a torrent of attention. Not that she minded, heavens no! She had always been the sort to dance naked in said rain, not hide unhappily under an umbrella. One could never get too much attention after all.
So as she was scooped up, the creamy white cat did not protest, offering a parting smile to Fukalite before she was carried off by Lyra to a whole slew of familiar faces. Their auras gave them away before she saw them, eyeing each of the corrupted senshi softly, fondly. Lyra and Alunite she had met briefly. Carnelian a little less briefly, her fluffy tail swished as she thought of the flamboyant boy. Zinkenite was even there but ahhhhh... A deep purr rattled through her as fingers began to scratch behind her ears, and she shifted more comfortably in the arms of her escort.
Perched in the senshi's arms, the guardian had a far better view of what was going on. She could see Hiro now too, up closer to the General Queen, turning back when the question sounded. "It's Dahlia. And that's an awfully friendly greeting for someone you don't even know the name of." She teased softly, pleasantly enough. It really wasn't fair, she could read their names herself. Introductions hardly dawned on her when she wasn't being dramatic. Right now she was being more comfortable then dramatic, her paws shifting and kneading Lyra's arms until she found the most comfortable position to snuggle in.
Her pleasant mood shrank a little however, atleast outwardly, toning down her pleased expression and the twitching of her tail as Tanzanite snapped at some of the agents.
Cutting off the power source in which they fed off? That was exceedingly bad news. Her ears laid back softly in thought.

Some might have taken some joy and relief in the admonishing the two lieutenants were getting. Bismuthite, on the other hand, had his curiosity piqued. An expression of visible interest was now on his face, and he could overlook just how the information was given. Ignore Hematine and Garnet.
He wanted to know about this wall, and what they were to do to stop it from happening. Becuase there wasn't a damn thing funny about something such as that which could severely cripple their faction. Squelch the very thing that let them be. Their power...
He wished Tanzanite would not waste her time en casting the limelight on the two newbies. He wanted that instant gratification of obtaining all the knowledge he sought then and there with no dilly-dally. Impatient? Oh yeah. But it was a feeling of duty that made him so. He had little patience for peons in the first place.

Chronos and her Guard, that alone would have snapped up Zinkenite’s attention. Back in the days of Team Enterprise they had briefly been assigned to chase after the Zodiac’s…or what was left of them. But the idea that they could cut off the source of their power at the roots, that, that was beyond unacceptable that wasn’t some inevitable disaster that could only be fought off by continuing to increase their recruitment and keeping their existing Army members –alive.
Far worse than that, and he’d had no idea that it was even possible. Build a wall around the very solar system? Could that be the root of why senshi could travel to space? Was it only the Chronos-guard that could do this? What if all senshi could somehow muster such a wall if they managed the organization?
NO, no he was not going to get ahead of himself, he would focus on trying to find the solutions to –this- problem, how to remove that threat at ITS root rather than letting the damned senshi hole them up like a siege. How to accomplish this though? He lacked most of the pieces he’d need to even try and formulate a plan, he had to pray there were more to be had, better, he had to have faith there was a good strong plan, a means that they could.
“General Queen,” He hesitated a moment. “The nature of this wall, how is it created and what must we do to stop it? A few of the Zodiacs have not been seen in some time, do we think this is because they are on advanced party towards this purpose or can we hope they are weakened in number and will be more vulnerable?”

Something could cut off the power they each possessed? How? Benitoite was too new to know a thing about this Guard and Chronos, but he didn't like the sound of either. He didn't ask anything, as it seemed someone else; someone familiar to him, had asked what was on his own mind. He could ask later who the Guard was and Chronos. Right now it was time to focus on the bigger thing, the cutting off of energy and how to stop this from happening.
Should it be allowed to happen they would be powerless and in a war against those with magic. This thought, the mental image it presented to him, made him sick to his stomach. It wasn't a feeling he liked, he could feel his stomach all but tying itself up in knots. He had little doubt that even without power some of them, himself included, would continue this war. But they would be sitting ducks to the senshi.
What plan did the General Queen, whom he'd only heard of by name, have in mind? Did it have something to do with the object, or objects, hidden under the cover? Surely it did, something which would hopefully work and keep them able to properly engage the enemy.
Turning his head, right then left, Benitoite took in the expressions on other agents faces. He wanted to gauge reactions to this piece of news. The blond completely ignored the two who were in trouble for speaking. They shouldn't be speaking when it seemed something dire needed to be discussed.
