From the looks of Matthew, he also looked like he'd given out of his hair a long time ago, through not for the exact same reasons. It was wild and untamed enough that it looked like it could have been a cozy home to a few baby birds and their mama.

Oddly enough, things did not get worse when his hair decided to magically shoot down a few feet. His magical hair was rather tame in comparison.

"Of course I want to ******** her up." He seethed, teeth grinding, the words escaping through them sounding almost like an hiss. "I want to break her in piece. I want to see her bleed, hear her scream..."

But then the white-haired man continued, and he paused. She'd embarrassed Ever, and also embarrassed him. Worse, she made Alunite look like a liability. Why take a corrupted senshi - not even an agent ! - along in an operation if Birhan Isat had any chance of being here ?

Useless, useless, useless~

Was seeing her bleed truly enough for what she had done to the both of them ?

No. No, it wasn't. "She seemed to be in charge." He said. A normal senshi. In charge of such an operation. "The others were listening to her, at least." Brown eyes narrowed. "We should... strip this all away from her. All of it." Grind it into dust, into powder, watch her suffer much like they suffered.

If only there was a way...

"...they were listening to her, weren't they?" He met Matthew's eyes again, at that, and his own expression was fierce. It wasn't sharp with fury but with thought, gears turning in the back of his mind. Most people never really came to understand it, but beneath the partying and the laissez-faire, Ever actually did have quite a few brains buttoned away.

If he took the time to actually invest in some schooling, if he had a little bit of worth ethic, if he had any thoughts beyond tomorrow or the day after....but he didn't. Not usually.

Right now, though, he was working on something. It was stewing. An idea, half formed, that just needed to finish cooking before he let it spill out, and that was a miracle. Usually he said things as they cropped up, still immature.

"Start by just embarrassing her. Low-risk embarrassment. That's easy enough, isn't it?" A breath, and he didn't quite smile, but it was a close thing. He could make this work. "Let's pee on her lawn a little bit. Figuratively speaking, of course..."

"They were." Matthew was positive of this. Even with the remain of Kallichore's power still warping his mind some, he had a much clearer memory of the... exchange... that he thought the white-haired man would have.

She'd ordered, and the others had listened. He had no idea what kind of hierachy the blood moon court had, but one thing was clear - it wasn't based on power level alone.

"Though we'll have to figure out which lawn is her's first." Through... he liked what he was hearing. He liked it a lot, and that interest was clear as day in his expression.

"That's not a problem, that's what Zink does." And there was no question in his mind that zink would help them out -- even if the name made him wince a little, thinking about their last meeting, ducking out on the young man without any kind of explanation. He'd have to pay for that, sooner or later. He was just hoping it'd be later.

"...I'll call him, anyway. We can get her bounds, figure out who her people are. Maybe start small, I don't really want to..." To get nabbed again, but saying it was admitting guilt, and Ever absolutely couldn't do that. He shrugged, instead.

"Start small...." Matthew had a good idea what Ever hadn't said, but just like him, these were not the words he uttered. "Then get bigger and bigger... Apply the pressure, slow but constant, until..." His grin was downright vicious. "Until she cracks."

Oh, he could already tell he would love every damn second of it. Messing with senshi's heads was one of the things he had grown to love the most, after he had for the most part, given up on making them see sense.

Perhaps there were some he could, one day, convince, make see his way. He doubted any from the Blood Moon Court would be able to see the errors in their ways, sunk so deep as they were.

"Let me get information from Zink first." A shift, and a fidget; he went to check his pockets for his phone, and then remembered he was in PJs. Instead, it sat on the bedside table. He didn't quite dive for it, but stretched across the bed, skinny and boney, to grab it.

As with Ashley, he held out the cell toward Matthew, both eyebrows raised. "And in the mean time, you just put your name and number and stuff in here, okay?"

For a moment, Matthew couldn't help but wonder how Ashley hadn't decided to start force-feeding him yet - certainly being this lanky couldn't be healthy... right ?

But he was knocked out of his train of thoughts when he was offered the phone. God damn... phones like this still existed ?

Damn, that thing was ancient. He didn't comment, through, instead fiddled with it (rather awkwardly - one didn't notice how handy touch screens were until you no longer had one), typing in his name and phone number.

Good god, he was getting him a decent phone, for serious.

Zac had been hard-pressed to get even this cell into Ever's hands -- and teaching him to use it had definitely been touch and go. At least, now, he could dial. He could get to his address book to find a number. He could answer without cutting out the sound, or his own voice, or hanging up, or...

Getting him something with a touch screen would most likely just lead to disaster, fumbling, and more trouble than it was worth. He couldn't even put numbers into this one, and it had the most basic of interfaces.

He took it back, once Matthew was done, and stared hard at the number as if just looking would be enough to remember. Maybe it would, eventually. He usually dialed Zac instead of going to contacts, anyway. "...um. I'll call him later. And, I don't know, look into what I can find -- it'd be nice to do something really vocal but hard to trace. T-shirts, maybe?"

The phone was handed back to it's owner, and Matthew pulled his own - fancy touchscreen and all - to input Ever's number into his own.

Helped that it was shown on the home screen, yes.

"There's always tried and true vandalism." Graffiti, of course. Not that he'd even been involved in the activity. "Through I know a print shop downtown that does shirts cheap if you bring your own. Raid second hand shops, profit ?"

He wasn't exactly made of money, you know.

"Or steal from her neighborhood, I'm down with that too." Walmart. Kohl's. Not a bad idea; Ever could use some new pants and boxers anyway. And socks. He always seemed to need more socks. Where did his socks go?

"Give me a couple days, and, uh. How are you at clever slogans?" He tucked the phone into his pocket and looked up at Matthew again. Sure, he still looked like s**t, but he looked like improved s**t, now. He looked like hopeful s**t. It was something. Only one of his eyes looked sunken and miserable and there wasn't much he could do about that, bruised as it was...

"Maybe come up with some to put on a shirt. 'Senshi suck' is direct but not exactly elegant."

"Well, yeah, that too..." Through... No one with a good head on their shoulders would let him into anywhere powered. A lesson hard-learned. Fluorite could pass for some sort of theater kid. Had it not been for the holes, he might have had a chance.

Maybe.

Or maybe he could cover up the holes. This wasn't something he'd often thought about, but now it occurred to him. An headband or cap for the forehead, and his chest... a coat.

God, he was gonna look like a moron.

And stealing as his non-powered self... Well, now, he'd stolen before. Who the hell hadn't, when they were younger ? He was pretty... out of practice... and he didn't feel like getting caught.

Hn.

Clever slogans... "Hn. Not... that good at that. Fluo might have some ideas..."

Most likely. His sister provably had a soapbox of senshi rants that she would step on at the slightest prod.

"Ask her then? I guess 'senshi suck' can serve if all else fails." A pivot on his heel, back toward the bathroom -- it was a thoughtless sort of dismissal, not actually meant to shrug Matthew away but. Suddenly Ever wanted to actually get out, to take a shower and get cleaned up. He licked his lips as he rifled through his laundry for a mostly-clean towel, tossed it over his shoulder

Another look up at Matthew, finally, remembering he was still there. "We can steal a bunch of stuff. Hit a department store, and then maybe a hardware store, too. I'll scope out some places that look up to the task, but, uh."

He rolled his shoulders, leaning back against the bathroom door and offering a crooked twitch of a smile, humorless. "Might be wise to wait until we find out what this mission Zink's leading us on is, first. So. Just the thievery. Let me know when's good."

The point was easy to see, and Matthew didn't mind as much as others might have. "Yeah... good idea."

Wouldn't want the two goals to conflict. As much as he wanted to ******** Birhan up, there were other things that were more urgent. "I will."

And so he turned to leave, making a mental note to call his sister once she was off school
