Persephone
Persephone calmed herself as she drew closer to Mari's room, trying to make herself not look so angry so she didn't scared the girl. She sighed and opened the door slowly,
"Mari? Hey, I'm sorry........" Her voice trailed off as she glimpsed chaos on the other side of the door, her heart suddenly racing and thundering all at once as she threw it open and saw the scene.
Her mind froze as she thought back to the afternoon, centuries ago when she and Hades had gone off to stop a small group of confused warrior spirits and left Mari unattended as a small toddler. They had stopped what they thought was all at first, until Tyrinus had alerted them of a final one, and she had known Mari was in danger. When both she and Hades had managed to get to the room, Mari had already been cut along her eye, blood flowing freely as Persephone herself screamed as if she had been stabbed through her heart, Hades slicing the spirit's head off swiftly and without word. Persephone had scooped up the wounded demi-goddess and had never before thought that she could die before that moment. But now, she was feeling as if her own unending life was ending, and she began to panic.
"Mari? Mari? MARI? MARI WHERE ARE YOU?!" She screamed as she stummbled around the room, her eyes pouring out tears as she tried to find the girl in question.
"MARI?!?!"
