A smile popped on the young chaps face when Hel proved she was a good flyer. Not everyone in school were lucky enough to have wings. Charlie wasnt one to use wings over walking but he couldn't imagine how hard it would be.
"ITS THIS WAY BRO!!" Charlie gestured toward town and took off not really waiting for Hel. THERE WAS PIZZA TO BE HAD!!!

If anything, Hel approved of Charlie’s quick pace!
She took off after the demon, and if this had been any other circumstance, she would have tried racing him, but no, Charlie was in charge today. He knew where there was pizza, after all! “So, friend, how long have you been here at the Academy for?” She could at least try and learn more about her new friend/guide while they made their way there!

Charlie had to think about that. It felt like he'd been there for ever but really it had only been a few months.
"A semester I think. I'm about half way through my first year," The demon at least knew his math. Reading, not so much. But math yes.
The two were approaching the tops of buildings now and Charlie had to swerve out of the way of a huge tower. Towers and steeples of all kinds of sizes littered the foggy below. The tops of clouds made the view a lot more obscure then it needed to be for landing, let alone locating the pizza building. Charlie paused and sniffed the air.

Ooh, how delightful, yet another friend who had been here for a while, but not too long!
“Excellent.” Hel commented happily, swerving to avoid the buildings as well when Charlie did so, and took a moment to look down upon the town from the sky. This was her first time peering down at it from here! Usually when she’d come into town she’d walk, so it was rather different seeing it here. Hel came to a stop as Charlie paused, peering at him curiously. “Something the matter, friend?”

Sniff sniff sniff...
Charlie crossed his arms and frowned.
"Hmmm.. No ... no.. I think its ... THAT WAY" He pointed down and took on off through the fog down to the unknown bottom of the town. The demon WOULD have had a perfect landing if he had been paying more attention to signs. But no. The demons fancy swooping earned him a face full of sign. Charlie was now laying on his back.

Hel looked down when Charlie pointed, taking in this new part of town through the dense fog. Huh…was there really a pizza place down there? She didn’t have any reason to doubt the demon, so she followed after him as he descended. She found his aerial maneuvers to be rather impressive, and looked down at him with concern when he got a face full of sign. Oh dear…
The reaper opted to not do any fancy air tricks, which was for the better, and avoided the signs as she came to land on the ground next to Charlie. “Ah…” She reached out and shook his shoulder lightly. “You alright, friend?” She asked with concern.

((LATE AS HELL TAGS))
Charlie got up as quickly as Hel had asked if he was alright. The demon was already dusting him self off.
"What? Why wouldn't I be alright?" Charlie raised a brow. Behind him stood the pizza place he had been following. Charlie was more then alright right now.
"Come on lets go in ~" He skipped off with out Hel and entered the pizza place.

Hel just blinked at Charlie’s speedy recovery, and then laughed. The reaper gave his back a hearty pat before she followed him in.
Once inside, Hel paused and looked around, taking in the appearance of this pizza place, as well as the smell. “Ooh…that smells delicious, friend!” She happily commented, rubbing her hands together. Hopefully it’d taste as good as it smelled as well!

Charlie winced a bit at the pat. Hel sure had an arm on her that was for sure but it didn't matter.
Pizza mattered.
And right now they were in a pizza place. Charlie didn't wait for the waiter. He just grabbed a booth for the two of them and flagged Hel to follow after him.
"So you never had pizza before bro?" His fingers laced together from under his long selves. This was serious business time.

Since Charlie seemed to act like he owned the place, Hel was more than happy to follow after him and take a seat at the booth right across from him.
Ooh how exciting!
The reaper blinked as things suddenly seemed to turn serious, like a meeting with the mafia or something and gave a shake of her head. “No, I’m afraid not! This will be my first time.” Hel replied with a nod of her head. “I saw some once when I was at a gathering in the reaper dorms with Mot and his friends…but I wasn’t interested until now!” Here she grinned. “But then I heard that you were a pizza expert, so I came to you!”

The name MOT came from Hels mouth and cause Charlie to shutter. Mot. In truth, Charlie had no real reason to dislike the reaper. But once Charlie got an in his head it was very hard to get the demon to change his mind about what ever it was.
"....."
Charlies face was serious and he was very silent. Unsure what to say about the 'Mot' mention. But he felt something NEEDED to be said.
"Your a good kid Hel. I like you." His tone was serious. Charlie was almost like a mafia boss right now, "But that Mot character. He drives a van." Charlie gave Hel a very serious look.
But the moment was interrupted when the waiter came and asked for their orders.
"Get the dame and I your special pizza for the day," Charlie crossed his arms, "And some pumpkin juice." He hadn't bothered to ask Hel if thats what she really wanted or not.

Uh…why was Charlie so quiet and serious?
Hel blinked, staring at the demon across from her with a raised brow. Something seemed to be wrong! “Uh…” Hel blinked again when Charlie called her a good kid (she was pretty sure she was older than him, too), and then just looked perplexed when the demon informed her that Mot had a van. “…He…does?” She echoed as if she didn’t hear him right. Wow, Mot had a van!? That was amazing! She could count the number of vehicles she had seen on one hand, and here her neighbor owned one!? The reaper chuckled, grinning now. “What’s wrong with that, friend?” Why so serious, Charlie?
The reaper looked over once the waiter arrived, and didn’t mind the demon boil speaking up for her as well. The ghoul just gave a firm nod of her head in agreement to the order placed, and then looked back at Charlie.

Charlie actually fell over side ways when Hel had to ask what was wrong with owning a van. He stayed on his side for a moment or two before squirming back up.
"WHATS WRONG WITH A VAN!" He was shrieking on the top of his lungs at Hel. The rest of the restaurant stopped for a moment only to get back to the regular hustle and bustle. This didn't stop Charlies rant though. "I'll tell you! I'll tell you ALL!" Now the demon was standing.
"It starts with a van. Then they give out candy. THEN THEY TRICK KIDS IN TO VANS ! AND THEN THE NIGHT MAN COMEITH! AND THEN...." Charlie stopped and took a breath. "And then." He was still huffing catching his breath from the rant. "YOUR GONE."

Hel leaned over the table when Charlie fell sideways. What was wrong? “Uh…”
She quickly leaned back in her seat with the demon shot back up and started to shriek, her eyes widening as she stared up at him. Woah…Hel wasn’t aware that owning a van was a bad thing, honest! The reaper listened to his entire rant with wide eyes, still rather surprised by his sudden outburst. “Uh…wait…so…you’re saying…Mot does that?”
Honestly…he couldn’t be serious, right?

Charlie couldn't have been wronger about Mot of course. But the demon believed with all his heart that what he said was true. Others had multiple times tried to correct the demon, but it had little to no effect on Charlies mind being made up. It was very hard for Charlie to change his mind once he'd decided how he felt about something.
"Yup," Charlies face was dead serious.
