With little to no effort, Danny tossed the guitar in Xiu's general direction- she could catch right? Well hopefully she could. "There you go!" In the next movement she tossed the white axe guitar at Roch. No way she was letting him have the one she wanted. If Xiu had said she wanted the black one, that'd be fine, but not Roch.

With her now free hand, she tapped the power button on the tv, and it whirred to life. An appropriately ugly guitarist came on screen and the words "GUITAR FEARO: VALKYRIES OF ROCK" came on screen in big black and white letters. There was a small menu below as well. Things like "start game" and "multiplayer" flicked across the screen.

Danny plopped herself down onto her bed and waved for the other two to come sit with her. One couldn't really see the screen from anywhere else thanks to how the bed and wall were arranged together.

She gestured with her hands towards the screen and said, "Well this is Guitar Fearo." She pointed to the buttons on the guitar controller as she talked, "The notes come across the screen, and you tap them and the strummy thingy at the same time and then you get points with it and most points wins." She finished triumphantly, but it was really a horrible explanation.

Not to mention she didn't wait to see if they understood. Danny was far too excited to play! She began tapping through menus to see what the game had in store.

Xiu did manage to catch it, albeit it was a clumsy attempt. In the end, the only reason it hadn't crashed to the floor was because she managed to wrap her arms around it at the last minute, clutching it to her chest. Shuffling over to where Danny was, she gingerly seated herself on the bed while trying to turn the plastic guitar over in her arms. Now, how was she supposed to hold this thing?

She looked towards Roch and Danny for reference, trying to adjust her hands so that they were in the correct positions. Let's see...the white thing must have been the "strummy thingy" that Danny had been referring to, and the buttons were color coded.

W-well, it didn't look too hard. Hopefully she wouldn't end up regretting that thought, though.

"O-okay, everything makes sense to me."

Roch took his pose--only to fumble with pressing buttons instead of strumming strings. It was awkward, and he got the funny feeling he was about to be schooled by a lesser guitarist, but hell, it was fun!

He took a bit to get used to it, but by the end of the song he was jamming. "Dude, I like this game!" he said. "I usually don't like games like this, but this is really cool!"

Danny just stared at Xiu. At the screen. Then back to Xiu.

She beat Roch.

"Xiu you just ... you just ... It just ... You ..." She was so flabberghasted by it she couldn't even think. Roch was definitely the best guitarist out of all three of them, and yet he had come in last. How was that even possible? He had struggled in the beginning with the guitar, sure, but even Danny didn't think he was that bad.

Then Danny burst out laughing.

"AHAHAHA Roch," she said in between giggles, "She kicked your a**! She kicked your asssss!" She wiggled on the bed in her placement in the middle of the trio. Her body was shaking she was laughing so hard.

She amiably slapped Xiu on the back and said, "Of course we can play again!" Danny was already tapping the keys to set up another song, still chuckling the whole while. It was just too funny.

Xiu tilted her head at Danny, smiling uncertainly at the other ghoul's reaction. Why was she acting like that? Had Xiu done better at this game than she originally thought she would? From the sound if it, yes. At the very least, the Baku was able to determine--through the pair's reactions--that she had somehow managed to beat Roch.

Shaking her head, she leaned around the demoness from the back to pat Roch reassuringly on the shoulder (while still trying to make very certain that all she saw of him was neck up). "I-it was just beginner's luck, is all!" She was certain that she would end up in last place for the next round, but this was all for fun anyways. No reason to stress over it, right?

To think that only a few minutes ago she had not wanted to play this game in fear of looking like a fool.

Sticking her tongue out, Xiu stared down at the plastic guitar as she tried to get her fingers back into position. "U-um, I'm ready when you are!"

He snorted, shrugging off the ego pain easily enough. They all knew that when it came to real playing he was the winner. That was what was important. "Dude, they've got some great songs on this!" he said, completely distracted as he flipped through the list.

Then he stopped, a look of pure joy on his face. "They got Queen," he said. "They got Queen," he repeated. "How awesome is that? I grew up on this song!" he told the ghouls as he pushed the play button and got ready to kick some a**.

Danny set her head on Roch's shoulder as the song began to play. Something about Queen always relaxed her, though she wasn't sure what. Besides, her head wasn't too comfortable against the flat backboard of her bed anyways. She really needed a better bed.

Danny wasn't much of a mover when it came to this game anyways. Her fingers moved swiftly over the brightly colored buttons, but it seemed as though she could keep her body somewhat still. Her leg still twitched a little. Forcive habit.

She was a tad more focus on the grumbling that started in her tummy though. In her excitement, she hadn't even eaten lunch. They probably weren't hungry though, so Danny didn't bring it up.

Oops! She hadn't done quite as well that time around, but that was okay. The ranking this time was a lot more accurate in terms of actual guitar skill, at least. Carefully settling the guitar down on her lap, Xiu beamed and clapped her hands. "There we go! Good job, Roch! Good job, Danny!" She didn't seem particularly disappointed with her results. It was still a lot better than she had expected from herself!

When the conversation turn to food, Xiu simply nodded. She wasn't especially hungry--she had had a big breakfast--but it wouldn't do for her to skip a meal. "I...I don't mind? Tacos are nice? Whatever the two of you decide on." She slipped the plastic guitar's strap over her head, carefully setting it beside her on the bed. Whew, it really was hot in here! Now that she had more of a chance to look around at her surroundings, though...

"Your room is very nice," Xiu chirped, looking towards Danny with a smile, "It's a lot...brighter than mine." It definitely seemed to fit the flame demoness quite well! In her opinion, at least.
