Dhavlen wondered what they were up to. How close were these two? Than they ran away. Dhavlen wasn't too far behind them. "Where are you going?" he growled, darting through the forest. Than he saw the cliff that they were heading to and realized what they were about to do. He smirked. They were going to die. They would rather die than face each other or fight him. How weak! He would watch them plummet to their death and laugh as they laid at the bottom their bodies completely shattered.

"Yea that's it! Get ready do jump!" He yelled as he approached the cliff. He had done this so many times, but never did he fear for his life. This time was different. If either of them screwed up they could end up dead. He had to trust A'lan enough that he wouldn't screw up. This was it. "Jump!"
As he jumped in the air he felt something claw into his skin. He looked down and saw a thorn bush tearing into his skin, trying to stay with him and the ground. Drox cried out as the thorn bush let go and he plummeted toward the ground with A'lan.

Right before Drox gave the signal to jump, A'lan risked a quick look behind them. Sure enough the cheetah was close on their heels but appeared to be slowing down as to not go over the cliff. A smile crossed A'lan's face then turned forward again just as Drox yelled "Jump." But just as he did a sudden feeling of dread washed over him and not a second later he heard Drox cry out in pain. But it was to late now, they were both hurtling towards the water below, his calls of concern eaten by the wind.

Dhavlen watched the two of them plummet to the ground and grinned. The lion had gotten hurt. That means they will probably won't be able to go far. He would hurry down, just in case they lived. It was a shame that they died to quickly. He didn't have enough time to really play with them which was a shame. He would just have to tell the old master what happened and see what his reward was for doing such a good job.
