It was summer vacation, and Lydia had been enjoying it fully. She'd had no intention of patrolling that night, much less powering up. But it was hot, and uncomfortable, and she just couldn't sleep. A walk would probably do her good. And it would be far safer to walk as Sailor Irene than as Lydia Sfakianos, she told herself, stepping outside of her house and calling out the magic words that turned her into somebody else.

Before her high heels managed to get two steps down the street, her phone buzzed. Frowning- who would call her at this time?- she pulled it out and took in the text message. Seconds later, she had powered down and hailed a taxi. This sounded urgent, and even a senshi wouldn't be able to make it to the location in the text as fast as a taxi, or so she could only believe.

By the time she got there and powered up again, the place was a beacon of energy. Even without the text message to pinpoint the exact location, she would have been able to find it blindfolded if she got close enough. Speaking of which... "Metis! Iris!" It was comforting to see other members of her team there, and Irene slipped in next to them quickly. There were lots of senshi here, far more than Irene had ever seen in one place before and just a bit intimidating. But her teammates had called for her, so she had every right to be there with what felt like lots of more powerful people.

"What's going on?" she whispered, choosing what may have been the worst possible moment to catch up. "Are we fighting the bad guys yet, or- ewwwww!" Her voice raised sharply as she finally noticed the bugs, and she took a step back out of reflex. "What is that thing?"

As the tangerine-haired child waved to her, Iris offered a moment of her time. "Looks like ya've been pretty busy! Hope ya know how t'use that thing!" Her gloved hand touched the edge of the rod and pressed down before releasing and walking past. The teal-haired runt offered an explanation, and though it was hard to understand, it was informative.

Still, the way the child seemed to wobble slightly seemed off. "I take it ya know that one first hand, eh?" With her hand open wide, the blonde gave the younger girl a firm pat upon the back. She didn't feel bad for Egeria necessarily, but she did sympathize, since she had many times before dumped off a massive amount of energy due to her Revenge attack.

Hug-bell seemed to be lingering close to another chibi senshi, the pair speaking in a low tone. The tomboy couldn't quite hear what they were chatting about, but who really cared. There were youma all over the place. And then that giant f*cker.

As both Metis and Irene arrived on the scene, she couldn't help but add her ever so subtle commentary on what they offered to the current conversation. "You guys need t'get out more often!" Loosely she gestured to Irene. "Especially you!"

It was about this time that the mild scoldings of some masked douche bag hit her ears. Wait... Hadn't she seen him before at that strange fight during the prom? Maybe she had, maybe she hadn't. It was such a clusterf*ck it was hard to keep up on who she had met and who she hadn't.

One thing was for certain. She wasn't going to take scolding from some Nega-a** lightly.

"I'll f*ckin' say whatever the f*ck I want, whenever the f*ck I want. So F*CK OFF you F*ck-faced f*cktard!"

********* once more returned back to the senshi gathering after making certain all senshi had made it through the door, rubbing herself up against Egeria's ankles to silently assure her things would be alright. More and more of her girls began to show up, and ********* couldn't help but beam a bit. She was going to pad up to where Zirconia had settled and point out the obvious, but then Iris had to say that lovely piece!

All momentary beaming seemed to vanish.

"Ah yes... what an elegant way of phrasing that..." Initially she shook her head as she abandoned her plans to brag to Zirconia, slipping past Maia (but not without rubbing up against her legs), past an unfamiliar redhead and a vaguely familiar brunette, and finally ending at Metis and Irene.

"Ignoring that little outburst there... the smaller youma are easy to harm... however, the large one... there's something about the large one..."

There were a lot more people now, which really was now a typical battle experience for the little senshi of herbs by now, that it was getting hard to really greet and engage them as much as she wanted. Especially those of her own team, whom she had never seen powered up before until now - she offered big smiles though when they got near. The senshi were still doing a whole lot of talking though, like when the little gaggle of small senshi had first gotten to this factory. All these people sure liked to discuss stuff.

"Of course I can use it," she could at least answer Iris, whom she had subconsciously scooted closer towards - also thankfully away from Hypnos, who would have, again, been glared at for cowering away. "It did awesome against a pipe and the swarm of little bugs and I'm sure it could do awesome against that big ugly one," with her free hand she gestured towards it.

Speaking of which, "can we go try hitting it now? I mean... its obviously bad since the little ones were bad and stealing energy and stuff," Hygiea spared a sad glance at Egeria as she had been out of most of the fight in the other room. As much as she loved to talk ... weren't they wasting time?

"And the pirate is obviously doing something with it, right?" Was he taking it? She couldn't be sure, he had moved towards the big bug some time ago and the blue light that emitted from the bug's behind was now seeming to gather in his hand. That had to be bad.

Cora had been silently following Hypnos for the most of the time. She wasn't that thrilled about the whole place and it's dark energies but now that she knew Hypnos was here, how could she leave?

It was relieving to notice other powerful energy signatures from their side arriving. It eased her nervousness although she still wasn't sure if there was enough of them. Surely the Negaverse would call for backup as well and then, things would get messy. As if they were not that already.

Maia looked to Val about to answer him when ********* rubbed against her leg going by and Iris burst out with a stream of exploitative that made Maia cringe. ********* answered for her, but she did add onto it.

"I've only battle a few really large youma, but it just like Christmas and camp. The smaller the easier, but the bigger ones the bigger one they are hard to take down. Not impossible though. Not much planning to be had, mostly just attacking the thing."

Maia looked up though, "I more worried about him though," she said pointing to Wolframite, "dangerous that one. Wolframite, hes changed since I last saw him, but thats him. Got a few screws loose, trust me I know." She looked to Foramen briefly to see in the other was satisfied with the answer.

"The other one up there, haven't really been formally introduced to, but Ive seen him about several times. Twice in Elysion, got saved by a mad scientist nega and rolled away on Princess Chronos' sheild. I am told he is Zinkenite."

The child with butter yellow eyes looked away from Hypnos and stared directly at Iris and Foramen. There was a curious head tilt she knew Sailor Iris a lot of times used foul language, before looking towards *********, "I think they actually have a good way to describe the situation. I just know if My mother heard me talking like that she'd wash my mouth out."

"Yes that's Zinkenite" The bear hooded child added having found her angle iron again, she'd dropped it sometime between walking in the room and staring in shock at the huge youma. "I don't think he's as big of a problem as Wolframite."

She was glancing around for the corrupted senshi though. Where was she? "Wasn't the shells on the little ones hard? I know we had to crush them but they were crunchy.... if that's the case... how hard do you think the shell is on that thing?" The question was directed towards those that had been there, granted anyone that had walked through the other room probably knew how crunchy the little bugs were and could answer that question.

Polaris was happy to see more people piling into the factory. Friends, vaguely familiar faces, and a few strangers. All of them received a soft look from her, and perhaps even a smile before she turned her attention wearily at monster. Why they hadn't attacked yet she wasn't sure... and she was getting visably antsy, shifting on her boots.

Especially when she noticed two familar faces from the other side.. powerful ones at that.

A look of distaste touched her at Iris' display, arms folding across her chest. "Atleast try to keep your potty mouth at bay for the kids sake. Please. We don't need them running around spouting that garbage."

But her attention was immediately drawn to Hugbell's extensive knowledge, a soft frown touching her lips. She didn't really WANT to know how the chibi senshi was so well versed in the enemy. Poor little thing always getting into trouble.

Sighing, she let her arms lift to the air, shifting once more in her position.
"Maia is right. There is no point planning ahead until we know what we're dealing with. I say everyone with an offensive attack just shot at it at once. THEN we can see what works and what doesn't. Planning right now is just grasping for straws." Which was sadly a lot of what senshi did these days.

Crunchy shells was atleast a hint, and it made sense, real bugs had exoskeletons. Her eyes shifted around the warehouse room. "If we can find something big or sharp enough I'm sure I can shoot it right through that shell."

Ixion watched as their backup arrived. He has conflicted feelings about it really. On one hand, the chibis had done a good job of taking care of the previous pests; they could handle this. However, he also knew that they were significantly drained from such a long battle that it was handy to have to fresh people ready to fight.

Ixion recognized a few of the senshi that had come to help, mostly. He has seen a few of them around in other battles and a few were people Ixion would consider as friends, like Maia. Then there was Iris, the tough eternal who had been around when he was first awakened. With her hanging around, Ixion was sure they would win. The boy slid up to Iris, he didn’t really care if she used ‘bad’ words. He just nodded in agreement with the rainbow senshi and made a face at the negas.

He felt them, and he did not like it.

Itsuki Hara should have been at home, helping Allie with her math homework and doing everything in his power to keep Doctor Westerman's insufferable acquaintance from stuffing their cabinets full of Twinkies and Tostino's Party Pizzas. Instead, the rather large leopard padded silently into the room of the old factory, his yellow eyes glowing softly as he took in the room. It reeked of the same energy he had felt in Elysion, a maleficent presence that made his fur stand on end. He greeted the swarm with a soft growl.

He looked up a bit further, and greeted Zinkenite with a much louder one.

“Perhaps if your mothers had shown you such kindness,” his deep voice came paired with a scornful snarl, “You would not prey on children, Dark Ones."

Leopard's Eye did not know the Negaverse as the others did. Chaos was simply chaos, and he knew the blinding grip it could take on one's soul. There was no grey area for a Guardian of Elysion, and he spared no doubt for the men he deemed responsible for such wickedness. His gold eyes caught on Hypnos, and was that Cora beside her? He moved up beside them, and rested his heavy head upon the young senshi's shoulder as he wrapped his tail defensively around Cora, as though to say: I'm here.

“I believe you're right,” Leopard's Eye looked to Hug-Bell, and then back to Zinkenite, “I don't think he's a very big problem at all.”

Mark it on your calendars, folks. Itsuki Hara made a joke.

“Oh VERY eloquent…” He quipped back to the Irate Sailor Iris, a slow clap greeted her tirade and he seemed more amused than anything else to have gotten such a reaction from her. His gaze Pause on Hugbell and he arched an eyebrow to see her here, hadn’t she been the one so …sympathetic to Scheelite? How curious.

“Hello again Hugbell, might I recommend that you go back to your Kite flying? I think you’d find it a –great- deal safer than what these senshi expect of you.”

The Leopard got a different reaction however. Eyes widened and then narrowed to see that ‘thing’ walking about in the ‘real world’.

“Oh –very- funny guardian. Still ‘playing’ with children then? Rather makes for interesting questions about the –nature- of your Predations. For –shame. What would Helios say?” His eyes darkened to a thin and icy stare. “At least we aren’t the ones recruiting children ‘Guardian’…save your ‘morality’ till you are truly on the higher ground.”

Foramen got his own dirty look but no comment otherwise. The Senshi of Rifts made for an excellent masquerade when using the Crimson Crystal but other than that? Well… portals were –damned- irritating.

When Leopard's Eye's presence lingered in the room, it didn't go unnoticed by the small feline. Cora's head turned to look at him as he spoke and if someone was paying attention to her, they could see some change in her behavior.

First of all, it sounded like a little engine inside of her had turned on. A quiet purr was emitting from her, silent enough to be only heard by people close to her. Secondly, her cream-colored front paws started to do a little padding movement, in a somehow restless manner. And thirdly, it seemed a bit like that she was unsure should she be looking at the leopard or not. Her pink eyes had moved to look at the messy floor around her or at Hypnos' slippers. Yet, somehow she found herself staring at him again. His strong legs, his determited eyes, his brave warrior stance. Quickly, she turned her gaze away from him again as she noticed him coming closer to her and Hypnos.

What was he doing here? Why had he appeared in her life again and made her feel all strange again? Why did he had to come closer to them and made her even more nervous? Why she couldn't calm down?

Suddenly, she felt something soft againgst her paws. A surprised silent little yelp escaped from her mouth and quickly she stepped away from the tail's way, right under Leopard's Eye's chest. From there, in rather safe place now, she silently watched as the events proceeded.

She waited for some time, starting to feel more calm as of pure being safe feeling. She quickly glanced around, trying to make sure that as less as possible of others were looking at her or at leopard and then pressed her head lightly againgst the leopard's front leg.

"I'm glad you came," she said quietly, meaning her words. Even though he was still making her feel oddly nervous inside, it was still very much relief to have such a strong warrior on their side, ready to protect them from danger.

Egeria was happy standing beside Iris as she knew she would be safe there, she listened to the swearing, watched as others arrived, listened to the chat, though she wondered why everyone was chatting to each other and then she saw a leopard walk in.

She stared at it with her mouth wide open.

Then she started tugging at Iris.

"Why is there a leopard here? Why is it talking?" Yes cats spoke but leopards? Yes she knew they were a type of cat but did that mean if she went to the zoo then the lions and tigers would also talk? Yep this world just got stranger and stranger especially when the guy spoke back to the leopard and then the leopard stood over the cat that always seemed to be with Hypnos. This was weird.

She looked for ********* and couldn't help but be glad she was ********* size though if she were a leopard maybe she would be able to give her and Hygiea rides? She would talk to ********* about growing somewhat later.

Some questions were heard, and other ones weren't. Sailor Iris heard mostly the criticisms of her choice in cursing the place up and down. It made it a bit trickier to actually hear legitimate questions like Hygiea had about wanting to hit the much larger youma.

If the yellow-suited senshi had heard the question, she would have easily said "SURE" and probably led the attacks upon the overly large bug. Alas, she hadn't heard the question, so alas, she didn't lead the way.

"So ya guys want me t'baby them? Is that it?" She glanced to a couple of her teammates who had even given her a couple disapproving looks. "Well then f*ck all of ya... cuz I ain't doin' that! Dunno if ya guys noticed that first room... but that was all th'chibi senshi! Let th'f*ckin' kids stand on their own two feet and maybe they'll surprise ya!" Did Sailor Iris think that the chibi senshi could take on the giant flea youma by themselves? No. However, if all the other senshi ever did was protect the kids from the slightest discomfort, then how the hell were they going to learn anything for themselves?!

With a gloved finger, she then pointed to Hygiea. "P.S. I know fer a fact she already was cussin' before she ever met me... get over it!" She was pretty certain a kid of Ixion's size also was familiar with cussing, but she wasn't going to point that out, since she didn't know if it was an actual fact.

Feeling a vague tug at one of the magenta skirts on her fuku, the Senshi of Rainbows glanced to Egeria. Briefly, her eyes bulged at the question. "Holy sh*t?!! A leopard?!" Sailor Iris' encounters with Elysion had been somewhat brief, so her knowledge of the guardian was a bit lacking. At most she had seen maybe a glimpse or two of the strange cat-lazer-turret, but that was about it.

Exasperated to say the least, Iris threw her arms up in the air and practically shouted "F*CK IT! I give up tryin' t'make sense of this sh*t! Sure, talkin' leopards now too! Why not?! We already got house cats doin' that!"

Where as Sailor Iris wasn't known for grace, she did have a point or two which were accompanied with a slight jingling of the manx's collar as ********* nodded in agreement. Unlike Sailor Iris, who remained ignorant of the Leopard that seemingly had decided to join this get-together, the small manx had noticed as he had not only padded in, but seemingly was siding with the senshi. ********* experiences dealing with the larger guardian were also quite lacking, but she wasn't afraid.

Especially considering how Cora seemed to find an easy place to hide using the Leopard. Rather than speculate much more, the manx easily trotted on over near the Leopard, close to where Cora was taking refuge.

In a friendly manner, she simply asked "Friend of yours?"

"This doesn't have anything to do with thinking the children are incapable" Polaris shot back defensively, her expression turning all the more sour. How DARE the foul mouthed senshi try to make her sound like the bad guy, just because she had half an ounce of decency.

"This has to do with manners and setting a good example."

"They're free to do what they want, but there is no need for you to hand feed them bad manners in the meantime. Maybe TRY acting like an adult and role model for half a second."

Polaris doubted very highly that it was possible. She was staring daggers, which was about the only thing that had paused her plans to quit waiting and just attack.

Of course there WERE children around.. and she was drawing dangerous near the edge. Not to mention bad guys too, which in the end were obviously the most important thing. Bickering with allies wasn't the way to win this fight.

Her lips were tight as she fell silent once more near Hugbell and Zirconia, eyes once again eyeing the giant bug as she debated the first place to try and hit it.

Sailor Hypnos was silent, her lips quivering slightly when Sailor Hug-Bell confronted her. She wanted to curl up in a ball and just roll away from everyone the more they looked at her. No one seemed to understand and she felt more and more alone the more they confronted her about it. The world was getting darker and darker without a light in sight. She was about to just sink into a hole and disappear from the world when she felt the kind but heavy head of Leopard's Eye fall on her shoulder.

Her head slowly turned, rubbing against him before she stopped. She recognized this rounded face with the soft fur. It was Big Kitty, he was here. Was this a dream? Was she still asleep at her friend's place? She'd only ever seen Big Kitty while she was in Elysion. Maybe if she tried hard enough she'd wake up? Did she really want to? If she woke up would she ever find Big Kitty again?

The sound of Cora's purring was nestling in the child's mind, soothing over her. It didn't matter, the child sighed softly, content with the moment whether it was a dream or reality. It would be a small moment of peace before the world crumbled once again. It was the moment she would smile and whisper to him, "Big Kitty, I'm so happy to see you. I've missed you so much," as she turned to hug his head in between her arms. With him here, everything was okay again.
